The Crown in Waverley

Fabulous for a Sunday Lunch all either local and/or british products. From the meat to the vegetables & fruit everything is sourced as locally as possible. For me that is a BIG PLUS of this restaurant and I truly believe what OUR farmers can produce way outshines what is imported. Field to plate in 48 hours! Sorry, no photos, I just enjoyed the company I was with and the delightful food which was all beautifully presented.

Went to watch a band at this pub on a Saturday night, lovely pub, great atmosphere, Mrs Coles the landlady was very friendly and they have a good selection of drinks and bar snacks. The band One for the Road were brilliant. A really lovely pub. Thank-you.

Come down on Friday night if you have a dog! Friday is dog night, but still a craic if you don't! Fantastic licencee Jane and a great crowd, welcoming and so friendly!!

I managed to find a quiet corner to enjoy my bottle of London Porter, cooled to perfection. Couldn't stay for long, so I will have to go back to explore.

Bit all over the place behind the bar, took them ages just to pour a Pimms, and they didn't do the proper measure anyway. Maybe it was new staff but it definitely wasn't worth the wait. Its obviously good with locals, didn't eat there so can't comment on the food.

Nos quedamos muy decepcionados con nuestra visita a la corona en el fin de semana. Un pub muy descuidado, donde nos sirvieron con cortesía, pero era evidente que no eran sus intenciones pueblo normal! Es Agosto y aún así había hadas luz árboles de Navidad, y bolas de holly colgando de las paredes!! Son temprano o muy, muy tarde!

Cosy village pub with occasional live music.

Nada especial, pero un buen almuerzo. tenía los sándwiches y mi novia tenía el atún, nos dieron una bebida gratis para esperar un poco prolongado en el bar. Estaba muy contento con mi primera visita.

Almorzamos ayer con un anciano amigo. Tuvimos una comida agradable. Las porciones son bastante grandes, así que no podía soportar un desierto, pero nos dijo que tanto nos gustaría volver pronto.
