A good friendly real local with a reasonable range of Ales.

Good beers and nice atmosphere and always friendly . Dogs welcome as well still very good

Small pub. They had a handful of different ales on the tap. Staff were friendly. This pub also has a juke box 50p per credit

Such a great pub. Full of character, absolutely cracking beers (the HPA is rare to find on tap around here and they keep it very well) and friendly staff. Way too many pubs have become sterile environments full of TVs on every wall, but this place has become our starting and ending point for a few beers around Dono. Completely skip the Castle Inn to come here before the bus home.

I really enjoyed this pub, it has managed to keep character in the age where so many have had to reform and adapt. The landlady was friendly and the range of beers, lagers, gins etc was large. The toilets were impeccably clean and they have a large outdoor back yard which was covered by a well lit gazebo. I will definitely visit again when I'm back in the area.

Lovely old world building, what was classed as standard double was reasonable but double bed was placed up against the wall! One person had to climb over the other to get out to go to the toilet during the night!The toilet was leaking and the floor of the ensuite was flooded. Had to use all towels to keep floor reasonable. No apology at all from the owners, no reduction, Breakfast was tasty but no menu and another table was offered smoked salmon on scrambled eggs but we weren't!£95 for one night reasonable price, expect comfortable night's sleep!

Great place to take the family, a good selection of beers and ales that change on a regular basis. Large outdoor seating area is perfect during covid restrictions.

You can be right or wrong, but rudeness never accepted. Nice owner!

A friendly local Pub with good Old fasioned hospitality one of a disapearing kind and well worth a visit.

I literally grew up in this pub - my parents used to run it until I was 5 or 6 years old. Obviously it has changed somewhat over the years but I still have a soft spot for the place.
