Food was OK, burger lacked abit of flavour and although the vegan Wellington was nice the portion size was more like a sausage roll than a Wellington.

Lovely pub with charming staff but very bland food. We known the menu well (from The Havelock) but here it isn’t so good. We had a lovely evening (although three screaming children initially were noisy!) but wouldn’t come for the food.

We haven’t eaten here for some time but happy to report food, service and ambience all still excellent! Plenty of attentive staff on hand to ensure all was well and that our table lacked none of the essential extras, sauces, extra gravy etc. Delicious food to share and good value accompanying wines. Food was very good. Service was good too, the waitress was attentive and didn't bother us too much, which is what we prefer.

Went for a birthday roast - lacked any sort of acknowledgement even though prior to booking had highlighted it. Felt rushed at the end of the meal to vacate the table before we had decided on a dessert as were told they needed the table - when it wasn’t that busy.

Brilliant Sunday roast in a cosy riverside venue.

The pub was very busy and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately our food was cold I ordered extra gravy which helped warm it slightly. We should have told the staff but as it was packed and we were going to a show we didn’t have time for them to sort it out.

We loved having our Friendsmas lunch at Crabtree. It was super festive, the service was fantastic and every effort was made to accommodate our group and make us comfortable.

We have lunched at Crabtree a few times now since daughter moved down to London to live and study nearby. Usually happy with the experience. To celebrate daughters big birthday I booked a month or so in advance and requested a specific table we liked and which would accommodate our party. When we arrived, the guy showing us to our table acknowledged that we had made such a reservation but said that someone else had given the table away - I took a look and there were a couple of young people (we were a party of 5) at the table we booked who looked more like casual diners who had walked in off the street rather than a larger dinner party. A simple 'sorry', and the guy showed us to our new table which happened to be in the very busy area in front of the bar - and he was off. Clearly not a big issue for him but ruined the ambience of my daughters birthday celebration. Why can't some people understand that what is a 'non-issue' for them might be a big deal to their customer? No offer of any compensation - ie free round of drinks - which would at least have been something - just completed indifference. Thanks for spoiling my daughters birthday. We are unlikely to come again as a result. BTW, the waitress was understanding and lovely so we gave her a tip rather than paying the restaurants suggested service charge. Not a great experience.

As always a fantastic experience at The Crabtree, great service, food, beer, wine and happy people all around.

La primera impresión fue buena, agradable ambiente y decoración, y el personal era acogedor y atento. Fue decepcionante que a la 1 pm había 4 elementos no disponibles del menú. Sin embargo, las comidas que pedimos eran excelentes. Mi acompañante tenía un ravioli de calabaza y salvia que ella describió como fabuloso, y yo tenía el filete de hierro plano que se cocinó a la perfección, realmente fue un placer. Mi amiga tenía un rollo ártico de manzana toffee que también describió como fabuloso y la presentación fue hermosa. Tenían una excelente selección de vinos y tuvimos un picpoul de pinet encantador. Definitivamente recomiendo este restaurante, solo desearía vivir más cerca!

Un lugar muy agradable con una decoración maravillosa, una zona exterior y un personal amable. Me gustó mucho mi tiempo y sin duda volveré.

Nice Sunday lunch. But it was very busy and the kitchen struggled with that. Our mains took a long time, which was a shame as staff were good and the food was delicious when it arrived. Still, they gave us a discount. Would come back.

Nos alojamos en Hammersmith por 3 noches. Fuimos a The Crabtree por 3 noches. Esto es muy inusual para nosotros. Rara vez repetimos restaurante. Pero el Cangrejo funcionó perfectamente para nosotros. Está en territorio gastropub. La selección de menús es bastante amplia. El servicio era de primera. Es acogedor por dentro. El patio es muy atractivo y cómodo. Disfrutamos mucho de su pescado y patatas fritas, hongos en tostadas, hamburguesa de ternera, hamburguesa de pollo, arancini, raviolis y sopa de coliflor. Todos estos platos estaban bien preparados y muy satisfactorio.

Whenever I visit my Mum in Fulham we always go to The Crabtree. The food is always excellent and the service brilliant. We usually go for Sunday lunch. My Mum is 93 and she loves it. The bonus in the summertime when you can sit outside by the river.

The Crabtree was a great choice for supper. Good pub food with decent sized portions and attentive staff. I would recommend the Crabtree as a place for lunch/dinner. The restaurant caters for all ages.

We arrived and got seated, we waited 20 minutes before we had to go and ask if we have to order at the bar or if someone comes to the table, they then say oh wow okay will come over now. We then didnt get checked on and the service was poor. We felted we waiting more than to took to eat. On a good note the food was good but the Yorkshire pudding was really oily. The pub was so noisy we had to shout to hear each other. Wouldnt return out of choice.

Our waiter was excellent, taking our order and bringing drinks quickly. The food was good and tasty. My only complaint was that it took some time to arrive - not ideal with hungry young children.

Really lovely meal to celebrate our son’s birthday. We foolishly requested to sit outside as weather was lovely but being under the canopy it off the sun it was rather cold and a bit windy so our meals went cold really quickly! No fault of the Crabtree- just a heads up for other dinners!!

One of the best Sunday Roasts in London! We had the beef and the lamb with a side of Cauliflower Cheese and it was incredible!

Amazing food and service. We had the lamb and porchetta from the roast menu both were tender and well cooked. Only negative was that the food was slightly cold.

Uno de mis pubs favoritos de la zona con un gran jardín y terraza, pero la comida... por volumen creo que es principalmente sal, pero ni siquiera eso podía tapar el hecho de que el Pollo Kiev no estaba fresco. El pan horneado era muy aceitoso y la mantequilla también tenía una gran cantidad de sal. Gran lugar para parar mientras caminamos por el río, pero esa será la última vez que coma.

We went there to try the traditional Sunday roast We were shocked by the food quality was poor The food portion was so small as well as the food temperature was cold and not as expected to be Nether the less it was extremely expensive and menus was not including Sunday roast online So disappointed 😞

Despite making a reservation on Open Table, they didn’t have a table for us so we were left on our own to find a place in the garden with only limited menu and bar service. Soft shell crab sandwich was barely edible.

Mixed review on the Crabtree: lovely location. Food was nice. Not amazing but nice. We unfortunately booked dinner on a day when the pub was having a music festival. We were not informed about the music festival and I have to say it was LOUD and extremely busy. I think we would have had a better time has the music festival not been on and the venue do ‘busy’. Our waiter was lovely, but sadly not overly attentive. They definitely had enough staff on duty though.

Great spot, has a lovely garden where you can chill & enjoy your drinks. Food was lit🫶. Was there for football game, it was packed although. We got our food in time & was drippingly good.

This spot is great to hangout with friends & family. Love the atmosphere there, I recommend people to try sticky toffy pudding & Sunday roasts on sundays. Very rich taste & quality in food & drinks.

We recently visited The crabtree pub, it was an absolutely delightful experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, they were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. And of course, the cherry on top was the stunning view of the river at dinner time. Overall, I highly recommend this pub for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience with great food, friendly service, and a picturesque view by the river.

Have a lovely date night at the crabtree. Staff were great, food was amazing (I had the seabass). Shame it was raining as there is a lovely terrace by the river, but at least we could have a drink in the beer garden which was huge. We will be back

I went to the pub earlier in the week on Monday with my sister in law and nothing was available on the menu other then a burger or fish and chips (burger was awful) they said they hadn’t had a delivery!? I wrote a review as I was so shocked having been to the pub a few years ago and had a fabulous meal! I went back yesterday with a new date (hoping as it’s a lovely setting along the river that Monday was a one off! Again I couldn’t have anything on the menu that I wanted - no sourdough no food I wanted literally nothing in the menu again - so why have a menu that you can’t order anything off of - def never going back

I went yesterday, Monday the 24th of July and sat down to be told basically there’s nothing on the menu that we can have! Only a burger or the fish and chips for the mains! No sourdough bread (which ruled out a lot or most of the starters and basically the waiter (who was highly nervous and embarrassed, said that they didn’t get any deliveries or something on those lines! I saw others eat a croque Monsieur (looked like soggy plain bread) Thought that was very poor for such a popular pub! I’ve been before a while ago and the food was amazing and a completely different menu! Our burgers were made with tough, chewy, grissly, mince meat so we left them. Shame!

Lovely setting and great service - recommend for nay occasion

The lamb wasn’t edible and sent it back to be replaced by the smallest piece of pork. The fish and chips was good. Just carrots and kale as vegetable accompaniments to the roast. The service was pretty awful. Will not be going back as the bill was over £90 and not worth it!

We booked for one of the Eurocup matches as they were supposed to be broadcasting it however they never turned up the volume, the tv turned off at one point and our booked table was next to the Toilets (really really bad smell). Would definitely not be booking again at this place.

I got the chicken kiev, it’s was awful. Overcooked and dry. When you cut into a good chicken Kiev it should pour out with garlic butter. Mine did not do that at all. I complained and the staff kindly got me a new one. But alas, same thing happened. Overcooked and dry. Sahara desert dry. My wife got the beetroot salad, which is displayed under the mains section. She said the flavour was good which was a positive, but it was in no way a main course she said it was a starter. My friends got the steak frites and pie of the day, which in comparison were both excellent. The desserts were phenomenal we all got the sticky toffee pudding. The staff were very good they took the Kiev off the bill without being told which was very appreciated. The actual pub is very very nice, good music and a fantastic outdoor area. In conclusion stay away from the Kiev and beetroot salad.

One of the great West London pubs. Always worth a visit.

Monday night and one third of the menu was unavailable- my fish soup was watery and my friends fish and chips underwhelming- not what we expected at all !

Lovely little pub by the river. Was looking forward to my visit and a roast dinner. Totally didn't expect to be so disappointed hu thr quality of the food. I went for the vegan roast which came to me extremely dry and unappealing. Carrots were nice but the swede was like baby food (but a much smaller portion) potato's were dry, Wellington was equally dry but it explains why it came out in record time. I ordered a side of cauliflower 'cheese' which was cauliflower with plastic cheese slices melted on top. Not really acceptable tbh. The staff seemed lovely but I still didn't have the confidence to voice my complaint. I was expecting a higher quality of food. My god daughter (8) loved the chips but also said her burger was dry and 'had hard bits in' it.

Simply the best. Were celebrating a family reunion and Crabtree didn't just give us their best table but made sure we have the best experience. Friendly team and absolutely delicious food. Thank you

Always nice to go there with friends and family. Food, wine and service are great!

Granted we had dinner after a football match and the place or bar was absolutely packed. It was so loud that even in the dining room it was difficult to even talk at the table. The wait staff was very nice and accommodating, but the food was mediocre. The burgers were over cooked, and they never asked how we preferred our meat cooked. The pie of the day was ok and the overall food was a little better than average for pub food. I am sure it is a better experience when the place is not packed with football fans after a game on a rainy day where almost no one was outside on the pretty deck overlooking the water. It was what it was, but for dinner the prices were a Little high for the quality.

Inappropriate frequency for the table- in a PUB! Even after allowing us to sit on a table we choose. We will not be attending again. Couldn’t change my meal 5 mins after order even though my meal came out 50mins later. Waitdress very patronising when asked about why we are being asked about the table on the 3rd occasion (on this note, we had not yet ordered our food). As a collective we decided not to pay the service charge and another waitdress had attitude in response to this, which was not in reflection to her service in particularly. It was evident as a team, they intend to gossip & talk amongst themselves instead of escalating to management to find a solution to improve our stay. As Leads of an organisation we planned to rent this venue for our summer events this year, we are glad we came for a preview & discovered the poor service before we went ahead with a collaboration. We will not be returning again.

Great food in a relaxed atmosphere. The team were very welcoming and the dining room was just separated enough from the busy pub to enjoy the vibe but still feel like a restaurant. Will definitely be back!

This was our debut for dining at The Crabtree. The welcome was warm and friendly. Our dishes were delicious and complemented by some fine wine. We were looked after very well by an attentive, vivacious lady. We shall be making a return visit.

I booked to eat as dog friendly but arrived to find that there are no dogs allowed in the dining area. They did go out of their way to find us a table in the bar area. Food was good but not hot. Tables were never cleared !

Another excellent meal at the Crabtree. This was the first time at the Crabtree since the pandemic and everything was as wonderful as I remembered. Excellent food, phenomenal service and very reasonably priced wine list. The group of six shared a couple bottles of Margaux and amongst us we had risotto, fish and chips, and hake. All were fantastic.

Friendly staff, particularly young man in glasses he was super helpful. Food however wasn’t impressive, I got the beef roast. There was no mash and two roast potatoes. The beef was fatty and chewy, had difficulty cutting it. The gravy had a peculiar taste, not a beef gravy but almost sweet. I didn’t enjoy it. For the price of £22, I don’t think this was worth it. Overall, really nice pub with great interior and helpful staff.

Great food, lovely ambience and good value for money!

Lovely roast dinner, lots of lovely vegetables and full of flavour. It was also presented really nicely and had loads of meat and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Quite loud in the dinning room. Service was good too.

The rissoto was quite severely undercooked. You could still cracks the rice with your teeth when eating

Loved absolutely everything about the visit. Had Camembert to share and for mains we had rack of Lamb and Hake. Tasted and looked amazing. Staffs were very helpful and accommodating.

Had a wonderful burger and a very tasty mushroom risotto (vegan but still creamy!). Lovely waiters and a good selection of draught beers, all in all a great evening.

Friendly welcome and good service and the atmosphere was buzzy before a cup football match. We really enjoyed our starters (squid and salmon tartare) - the bread that came with the starter was delicious. The mains though were disappointing. Risotto was rather tasteless and under seasoned . The soft shell crab was not tempura - it was heavy, overfried and looked like the thick batter of the fish and chips. The taste of crab was completely lost in it. We have enjoyed our visits before though and it wouldn't put us off returning.

I was very disappointed this time vs my last visit in October 2021. Room was very hot and extremely noisy. It got worse during the time we were there and we could hardly hear ourselves talk. Food was only average. My dinner companion ordered the rump steak and it came over cooked plus it was extremely chewy. He was unable to finish it. I ordered the venison and it also came overcooked but I wasn’t asked how I wanted it, so I guess my fault for not speaking out. I’m crossing this one off my list to revisit.

Food as ever was delicious, service excellent. New Years ambience with live music perfect. We were a family of five, 3 generations so something for us all! Beer and wine excellent. Lucky to have it as our nearest pub as ticks all boxes, summer or winter!

We had a super meal here on New Year’s Eve. Standard pub grub but excellent and friendly service in a great location. We will deffinately be back.
