Extremely disappointing. Apparently this constitutes as an adult portion of ice-cream. £8.00 for three scoops. The presentation is appalling. Food was very bland.

Have ate at The Courthouse in the past and had a decent meal. Tonight I thought the worst meal I’ve ever eaten, the menu had changed and was very limited, so chose a chicken waffle burger ( as nothing else tempted me) This consisted of soggy waffles, hard chicken, lukewarm sweet potato fries, slimy lettuce plus a load of indescribable gunk covering the chicken, I told the waitress, who said sorry but never offered to refund or tell the manager. Disgusted that we had to pay, but am not one to complain or make a fuss so left it, Won’t be going back there in a hurry

Don't get me wrong but we love visiting the Last Drop. We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the spa and the comfortable rooms. Apart from breakfast we don't dine at night because of the fantastic restaurants nearby. But, on this occasion as part of a deal our stay included dinner. We ate at 8pm but either the amount of diners were unexpected or there was a shortage of staff in the kitchen. We both chose the leek and sweet potato soup which was excellent. However, there was a wait of 25 minutes for mains after the soup bowls were removed. It didn't bother us too much but several diners who were seated before us were discontent and proceeded with loud and rude sarcastic comments. As for us our gripe was the burnt carrots and mangetout that marred my steak dish. We will be revisiting the spa in the future as we feel at home there but we'll probably resume dining away. Shame really but perhaps the bar needs raising.

All the food was really tasty but it was all a bit quick and rushed. It was only about 4 minutes from ordering to starters arriving. The staff were attentive and friendly. We had the breakfast in there too which was lovely also. Would come back but it would be nice to be able to relax a bit and digest each course before the next turns up.

We booked dinner here and we couldn't fault food or service. We both choose Beef Medalions and can highly recommend this, it literally melted in your mouth. Amazing food - great service.

Booked this for my father's 82nd birthday through Gourmet Society. Very impressed with the call back the day before asking for more information about my request for seating for my father as he cannot cope with noise behind him. Lovely table. No music on so thank you for that. Bit draughty though. The menu, at first was disappointing to read, against the menu I had picked up on a spa day and the one I had downloaded on line. That said, prawn cocktails were produced for my elderly parents. Again, thank you. The pork pie 'nibbles' that was served hot, as a starter instead, not sure about at all. All the mains were in fact quite delicious. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert? No room. The service, was attentive and faultless. Decor and ambience was gorgeous. A very memorable night of which, we realise, there are not many left.

We were warmly welcomed and seated in a very pleasant dining room. The table was a little small for 4 so we had to put surplus crockery on the next table. I had the cottage pie, which came with a small portion of vegetables. The cottage pie was hot and tasty, but the portion quite small for £13.95. If I had known, I would have had a starter. We used a Tastecard and this made it value for money. We weren't asked if we wanted sweets and had to catch a member of staff to order coffee, which we had in the comfortable lounge area.

The food was brilliant and well served with very attentive staff. good choice, some special offers but we used our taste card and got 241 which made this meal very cheap and more enjoyable

Very tasty, lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. Service was good and not invasive. They also offer bento boxes as an alternative on the spa days but I've never had one; they always look good though.

Food average, but nothing spectacular. Service let it down, very slow. Thought drinks a little expensive

We visited The Courtyard two nights in a row, when we were staying at The Last Drop, which should tell you something about the food or may be the attraction was the friendly waiter Rhodri. We couldn't fault either. The food looks like a big expensive menu, but there is a set price for 2 or 3 course, with supplements for steak or the cheese board. The food is really reasonable and when it came it was very tasty and there is lots of choice. I was quite full after two courses the first night, so my dessert was the Champagne Sorbet, which was very refreshing. All those in our group enjoyed the food. I think my favourite was the Pork, with the Black Pudding Mash, a little bit rich but very tasty. Our waiter both nights was Rhodri, he was funny and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. We would definitely eat here if we were in the area again and recommend it to others.

Met my wife in town on Sunday and needed lunch. Didn’t want a pie or pasty so I suggested here. They’re always friendly and the food is good. It makes good sense and we both enjoyed it.

We decided to pop in, glad we did, lovely lady served us, freshly made breakfast, really thick bacon, mushrooms fried, not boiled, I hate boiled mushrooms, tin tomatoes, beans, black pudding and a hash brown. Loads of toast. The only thing which could have been better is the coffee, it was really weak, tasted like instant, even though they had a noisy coffee machine. Everything else was lovely.
