Stuck out of the way with no car parking space.Average ambiance and menu, no wow factor. Some grumpy management and not always help full. Better places located in boston with overall advantages.

Gracias

Having enjoyed our visits to the Country Gourmet Bistro in Pen Street, we were curious to know what the new premises called "The Bakehouse" had in store for the locals. We were not disappointed on the two occasions on which we have visited so far: there was a friendly welcome and the usual blackboard displaying an amazing range of dishes. The large latte coffee and cup of hot chocolate were delicious and the paninis and fresh salad very tasty and reasonably priced! We topped off the lunchtime treat with a naughty slice of cake which was moist and more-ish... Thoroughly recommendable!

Lovely bistro (now on Wide Bargate, Boston) - friendly service, good atmosphere. Superb coffee, the best I've tasted for a long time. Interesting baguette and panini fillings, huge variety of hot/cold food. They do takeaway / outside catering etc. Prices are very reasonable. Recommended!

My first impression wasn't too bad until we had to sit in the back room which was dark and cold. The staff were very slow to take our order. The drinks were warm and flat. My dads food didn't arrive until we were half way through ours. All in all very poor service with average food.

After hearing such good reviews I decided to go and dine! Upon entrance staff was warm and welcoming! The menu is great they have everything and cater for everyone, I'm a healthy eater person, and I had a salad the best salad ever! So tasty and so healthy! My mother had a panini which was also lovely! Staff are so friendly! And helpful nothing is too much for them! Prices are great too! Very reasonable! I certainly recommend this place to anyone!!!

We regularly look for places, as anyone who has read my reviews knows, that are dog friendly. Whilst the Country Gourmet doesn't fall completely into that category, they were kind enough to allow us to tie our dogs up in their small courtyard, just beyond the french doors that they opened for us and offered a water bowl for the dogs - great! We sat and feasted and the dogs watched mournfully out of reach. I had the toasted BLT which was delicious and my hubby had a bacon baguette. We had a pot of tea, a cappuccino and a water and the whole thing came to £9, we would definitely go there again - maybe minus the dogs next time.

We regularly pop in to see Sharon and Michael at the Country Gourmet for a light lunch. Highly recommend the BLT accompanied by what we consider to be the best coffee in Boston. If you have never eaten here you really do not know what you are missing. Great food, good prices and great service.

This is a funky and friendly cafe in the centre of Boston. We found it by chance after a long walk by the river and looking for a late morning coffee. Friendly service and atmosphere and well-made coffee. We liked it so much we went back later for lunch and had delicious freshly made sandwiches with a side order of fresh skinny chips. Good and efficient service from young people who were friendly and seemed to like their work. Highly recommended.

Lovely light lunch in Wrangle. Booked late so didn't get best table but still well placed in a safe environment. Enjoyed lovely home made lunches including salad, quiche and sausage pie and smashing cakes. Must have an afternoon tea next time, looked perfect

Nice place to visit and have a chillout Coffee, sit and watch the fishermen pulling out fish at pace, so it must be well stocked.

One of my favorite pubs. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Great service. You can sit by the fireplace and drink warm coffee or beer. It has its own charm, just walk through the door and you feel like you went back several dozen years.
