Had a lovely meal here, the staff we lovely as was the food it remedied the awful experience we had at the hands of a local Hotel. Highly recommend this little gem.

The food and the place itself is ok . downside bottles of beer which were not cold and when the bill came there was a large service charge which I don't agree with .if I want to tip it should be my choice.would not rush to go again.

We went for our date night here. From start to finish, everything was spot on – the food, the service, and the overall experience. The atmosphere really does feel as cosy as the name, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. Our server was fantastic, always making sure we were happy with everything. From starters to mains and drinks, it was all perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

The food here is exquisite! We all ate a bit of everything and there were no problems. I'd recommend the seafood medley; they grilled it exactly to my liking! All of the staff were welcoming and attentive! We’ll definitely be back!

Initially, I was a bit hesitant to try this restaurant after seeing some mixed reviews. However, I decided to give it a chance, and I’m so glad I did. The combination of the delicious food and the exceptional hospitality from the staff really set this place apart. From the moment we walked in as a family of 5 including a young child, the team made us feel welcome and attended to every detail, creating a warm and enjoyable atmosphere. They were attentive without being overbearing and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even better. It’s clear they put a lot of care into both the food and the service. It’s one of those spots that makes you feel right at home, and we’ll certainly be back!

Not what I expected… After reading the reviews I was apprehensive but as I’ve heard good reviews I decided to go in myself- My friends are always taking about how inviting the restaurant atmosphere is as well as the staff. The food was great and the young lady serving me was exceptional. She was able to talk me through all the gluten free options and was very polite. I could see she was a bit busy but she apologised for her delays (even though we hadn’t been waiting long) which I thought was lovely. I had the bruschetta and penne moda and they were able to make it gluten free for me. I would recommend. Will be coming again. Thank you Cosy!

Awful service and food. Firstable , nothing to do with Italian food. Secondly, the lady in the bar has not a clue about customer service or hosting people. Very bad manners, pointing people with the pen when I asked her for something. She approaches the customers with rudeness and in a very unpleasant manner. Food was disgusting . The pizza was raw and seemed a frozen pizza that has been warmed in the microwave. The "waitress" did not take away the plates from the table before bringing the food. Not a good evening or courtesy at all. The food is anything but Italian. They don't have a clue about Italian pizza .. I left it on the plate and NOBODY came to ask if everything was ok because they knew it was not. Before opening a restaurant ,they should learn how to host, how to approach and how to be polite with customers and overall how to cook. That is not Italian food and that is not a restaurant NOT RECOMMENDED!

Lovely food - really Flavourful and arrived quickly - one of the dishes served was wrong but correctly quickly and without fuss. Atmosphere was really good in general however our waitress was very disinterested and we felt like we were an inconvenience. Shame as otherwise a lovely night.

Bought in pizza base, oily pasta and a waitress who definitely did not want to be there. Dissapointed especially with the positive reviews we had read before deciding to try.

Driver gave me a “Free Dessert”, I opened the bag to see it had my drinks and dips.. no dessert in sight talk about teasing🙄🤣

brilliant authentic pizza, although one slice was burnt all over on top. wish the chips had seasoning on but all still fresh and much more authentic compared to anywhere else.

Over all it was very poor service! Spent 50 minutes on the phone to the driver even sent him my location and he refused to follow it! Finally got our food after all that time and it was freezing cold so had to heat it up again! Usually love the food from cosy kitchen but after this I’m so disappointed!

Visited with friends and family recently and our visit was nothing short of spectacular. The atmosphere there is so welcoming, and the staff is super friendly. The dishes are not only delicious but also beautifully presented. It's definitely my go-to place for a lovely meal with great service. Our waitress was extremely accommodating to our dietary requirements and gave us recommendations which most definitely did not disappoint. Will definitely be visiting again!

They put lasagna in microwave and it was cold rest of the food was rubbish

Unfortunately food wasn’t made freshly when ordered, it was literally heated in microwave. Food was cold in the middle and I nearly chocked on bay leaf which was in my lasagna. Spaghetti bolognese had the same sauce as lasagna strangely. Funniest thing is microwave next to sitting area :)

Our server made sure we had everything we needed and was more than happy to accommodate our requests. Overall, Cosy kitchen exceeded our expectations in every way. Says outside it's Italian and Mediterranean, not Italian at all. I had cannoloni which wasn't great. Think it was lamb. The staff were rude and uninterested

Had been looking for an authentic Italian place for a while, just happened to be nearby and in need of something to eat for Lunch. Both myself and my wife who are both Muslim as well as our infant daughter. The Chef overheard my wife and I discussing what to get as well as our concerns about not knowing what is halal and what is not. He mentioned to us that he has halal and non-halal options on the menu to cater to everyone and he even threw in a complimentary garlic bread pizza for us, which I can’t thank him enough for such a high level of hospitality. The atmosphere is really nice; as the decor is clean and modern, as well as elegant wherever possible. The toilets are absolutely spotless, which is usually a great indicator of the state of a restaurant metaphorically speaking. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and my wife ordered Mussels. The food really lived up to expectations for both of us, as not many places can create a truly authentic Italian pizza. That was definitely the best I’ve had in a while and I used to work in a true Italian-Sicilian restaurant. I’ve been looking for something to scratch that itch of true authentic Italian food. I had a very nice personal conversation with the chef after the meal, and he even congratulated us on the recent birth of our newborn and we showed each other family photos. There needs to be more places like this, but I can truly say there will never be a place that can be better than Cosy Kitchen or come even remotely close! Please keep doing what you’re doing! This was my 3rd visit to Cosy Kitchen. It's the 'go to' eating place for when I'm visiting my brother in Huddersfield. It was raining when we arrived and the waitress immediately offered to take my umbrella and dry it which was a good start. She was polite, attentive and friendly throughout. The menu is varied and offers the usual variety of Italian dishes. Our order included: olives and dough bread starter, 1 salmon & spinach main with a side of sauteed potatoes, 1 Portuguese salad. Drinks: coffees, mineral water. Everything was well-cooked and the sauteed potatoes were gorgeous (perhaps a little on the oily side but gorgeous non the less). The bill came to around £50. My only niggle was the tablecloths were a bit on the heavy-plastic side and stuck to the elbows. Apart from that, it's fine. It's a shame the restaurant was quiet - come on, Huddersfield - you've got a gem here - use it or lose it! And yes, my umbrella was dry by the time we left.

order regular but then got a pink burger so stopped ordering from here for a while, partner convinced me to try again it could of been a one off, been good for a while, but what we got this evening was Grimm, stale and rock hard, I don’t know why I even took a bite but I did, it was like a biscuit in my mouth, I couldn’t eat any of it, if the bread was that stale I am not trusting them with meat, such a shame,

Nice place with good food, definitely one to go again

We have come over for an evening meal after having take outs before from Cosy kitchen and the food only got better! We have decided to go with Polo Stroganoff and Polo Funghetto with Sautéed potatoes, and both meals were amazing albeit the Polo Funghetto tasted slightly better for us. We have also tried the cheesecake and it was really tasty and looked amazing too but there was a bit of ice on one side. It was still worth every penny. Staff was also really friendly and atmosphere was really nice in there. We also had a pizza and cheese chips with bacon for takeaway for tomorrow as both of those always taste nice even reheated.

Celebrated my nephews' 40th birthday at Cosy Kitchen last night, it was our first time eating there so we weren't sure what to expect. Three hours later and all I can say is "we'll be back". A big thank you to all the staff for making the day memorable.

This is in no way worth the price. Burger was rubbery with way too much salad and sauce making it a slimy mess. Nothing special at all, not worth £11. The tiny portion of chips and a can for an EXTRA £2.80 is such a rip off. The pizza had chorizo on instead of pepperoni which was a very odd taste and ended up inedible. Very disappointed considering the price.

Exceptional genuine rustic Italian food

I rarely put reviews however this is such a wonderful Cosy Italian in Huddersfield! Definitely a favourite of our family and love going there! Food is always fresh and delicious and service is very friendly. Highly recommend to everyone to go! Also so kid friendly and always attentive to our little one so great for family’s and they also have a kids menu available which is great.

We went today for lunch. We ordered 3 starters and 2 seafood main courses. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and with attention to detail. The waitress is a very sweet, attentive and professional girl. The atmosphere is welcoming and romantic. For us it is currently one of the best restaurants in Huddersfield. Excellent value for money. This was the third time I have been to The Cosy Kitchen and could not recommend it more. The food is beautiful and all of the staff have been just lovely. We were a party of 9 and everybody was happy with the food.

The atmosphere was beautiful and the people very warm! Lovely selection of dishes, my only objection was that the dishes were nice but a bit bland despite the lovely appearance. Average for 2 people would be 50 pounds for a 2 drinks 2 starters and 2 mains.

Eaten from here before several times and always lovely. Tonight it wasn’t great. Burger had a slightly sour taste, just not right.

Tried the grilled chicken and Spanish rice box and it was so good. Succulent chicken and really tasty rice. Along with a really fresh complimentary side salad and a garlic dip. On Christmas eve had a 1h15 ETA but thankfully arrived nice and early. Always worth the money this place.

Got the pizza wrong. I had a pizza with mushrooms instead of what I ordered. By the time it was delivered, they had shut. Full pizza went in the bin as I can't eat mushrooms.

Absolute Gem of a place it was my first visit but it certainly won't be my last the food is outstanding the only thing I can think of on the negative side it was quite cold think they could have a couple of heaters but apart from that well worth a visit would highly recommend

Arrived with my 10 person family to celebrate my son's graduation with no reservation. Staff immediately moved tables together to accommodate us. Service was efficient and courteous. Food was excellent quality, with generous portions and the staff went above and beyond in their customer service. The waitress even entertained my 1 year old niece whilst her mum ate. Highly recommended.

Lasagne was very disappointing. Very heat hot and very salty, had no other flavour at all.

Bolognese was just meat and sauce, no flavour, no seasoning. No onion or garlic.

Food arrived in under 25 minutes which was great. The lasagne and the penne alla moda were both good. The tagliatelle gambas was far far too oily to the point it was off putting. The pizza garlic bread was nice. All the food was piping hot when it arrived so that was also a positive.

Hi I ordered a pizza and a bottle of wine on Saturday night twice by accident. When my one pizza and wine was delivered I was asked I didn't mean that did I? I obviously said yes that's right sorry about that. I have just checked my account and it has cost me £66 for a pizza and a bottle of wine. I would like £33 pounds back please?

With an error on my part, I had the wrong address still on my just eat. When I realised I called the restaurant. They were absolutely lovely about it, and the delivery driver was even NICER (even though he went to the wrong place first due to my error). Plus, the food got here still hot, and the quality was brilliant.

Only negative was that I ordered a bottle of Coca-Cola thinking it would be a decent sized one for £3.50 but it was a actually tiny 330ml glass bottle 😂 it is advertised as such so my mistake but that’s a steep price for a small drink so don’t make my mistake 😂
