This is a wonderful restaurant which is close to the railway station. Really good choice of menu and served with a smile. Would highly recommend it.

BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT HANDS DOWN!! I got the lasagna it was so yummy the service was great very attentive. The food was served fast and cooked to perfection first time trying this place definitely coming back.

We had a few take ways delivered from here and they were fantastic So thought we’d try a meal in house, big mistake, my wife had beef stroganoff on the last take away and it was great But in the restaurant it was not good the creamy sauce was not creamy and more of a tomato olive oil we mentioned it to the waitress who apologised but did nothing to make amends Paid the bill which had a 10% service charge included so they have lost a take away customer as well as no return visit

We came here from Liverpool for my husbands birthday (he’s reached his pension age 😜 ) Food was amazing they gave him a big bowl of profiteroles for his birthday treat thank you so much to these wonderful people they where fab and we was not expecting this at all I will definitely be going again on our next trip to Huddersfield 👏👏

We for dinner here last night and we’d recommend it for a chilled evening / night out. The service was excellent especially Imaan who was helpful and attentive without being intrusive. The special creamy risotto with smoked haddock was delicious.

Without a doubt the best pizza I’ve had in along time. Most takeaways are the same. This place is authentic. I was looking for a New York style pizza and this was the best around and I’ve tried loads. I would highly recommend 10/10.

Food was OK cheesecake was awful it was very crammed in if I moved my seat back to get out I wold have been banging into somone else table also be aware they tip them self's here aswell adding a service charge to you bill without any warning

The food was very tasty and same goes for the desserts. I recommend the trying the tiramisu. The staff there are very lovely and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere too it. 100% recommend going there.

Lovely restaurant that isn't too big and has a nice relaxing atmosphere. We didn't book but the staff were kind enough to make room for us despite being fully reserved. Food was delicious and excellent quality for the price paid. Service was excellent as well!

Booked for a table of 14 for a birthday meal for our daughter. The food & service was great. All staff were friendly, helpful & couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a good night. The restaurant is small but has a nice atmosphere. Overall really enjoyed & I’m sure we’ll be back.

The delivery time was quick. The pizza and tiramisu was really nice as always. The chicken wrap was not nice as the chicken was burned/charred and tasted horrible; had to throw it in the bin. - not worth 11 pounds.

Just had a takeaway from here, we are around 20 mins away from the restaurant and the food arrived as hot as if we sat in! Everything was delicious and we even got a free dessert. Will be ordering again soon

Delightful place . Great tasting , authentic Italian food . Party of 6 went for a birthday meal, ordered a variety of meals and we all thought the food was amazing . The Nduja penne with mushrooms , onions and garlic cream sauce was nicely spiced and full of flavour and would highly recommend. Steak with peppercorn sauce cooked perfectly as per requested. The chicken Kiev calzone was also full of flavour.

all food was fresh , but a bit disappointed the margarita pizza didn't have any herbs on like it usually does, making it taste a bit bland. hoping they haven't stopped using herbs on pizza, overall it was nice.

Spot on food. Nice and hot and arrived early. Yeah, it’s a little expensive but you get what you pay for. And what you get is fantastic.

The food and the place itself is ok . downside bottles of beer which were not cold and when the bill came there was a large service charge which I don't agree with .if I want to tip it should be my choice.would not rush to go again.

We went for our date night here. From start to finish, everything was spot on – the food, the service, and the overall experience. The atmosphere really does feel as cosy as the name, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. Our server was fantastic, always making sure we were happy with everything. From starters to mains and drinks, it was all perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

Waited for delivery. Didn't turn up so called restaurant and they said the driver called. They hadn't. Had the audacity to then offer us to redeliver for an extra £2 and to reheat the pizza. Never had a an issue like this on Just Eat. Ridiculous.

The food here is exquisite! We all ate a bit of everything and there were no problems. I'd recommend the seafood medley; they grilled it exactly to my liking! All of the staff were welcoming and attentive! We’ll definitely be back!

Initially, I was a bit hesitant to try this restaurant after seeing some mixed reviews. However, I decided to give it a chance, and I’m so glad I did. The combination of the delicious food and the exceptional hospitality from the staff really set this place apart. From the moment we walked in as a family of 5 including a young child, the team made us feel welcome and attended to every detail, creating a warm and enjoyable atmosphere. They were attentive without being overbearing and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even better. It’s clear they put a lot of care into both the food and the service. It’s one of those spots that makes you feel right at home, and we’ll certainly be back!

Not what I expected… After reading the reviews I was apprehensive but as I’ve heard good reviews I decided to go in myself- My friends are always taking about how inviting the restaurant atmosphere is as well as the staff. The food was great and the young lady serving me was exceptional. She was able to talk me through all the gluten free options and was very polite. I could see she was a bit busy but she apologised for her delays (even though we hadn’t been waiting long) which I thought was lovely. I had the bruschetta and penne moda and they were able to make it gluten free for me. I would recommend. Will be coming again. Thank you Cosy!

Awful service and food. Firstable , nothing to do with Italian food. Secondly, the lady in the bar has not a clue about customer service or hosting people. Very bad manners, pointing people with the pen when I asked her for something. She approaches the customers with rudeness and in a very unpleasant manner. Food was disgusting . The pizza was raw and seemed a frozen pizza that has been warmed in the microwave. The "waitress" did not take away the plates from the table before bringing the food. Not a good evening or courtesy at all. The food is anything but Italian. They don't have a clue about Italian pizza .. I left it on the plate and NOBODY came to ask if everything was ok because they knew it was not. Before opening a restaurant ,they should learn how to host, how to approach and how to be polite with customers and overall how to cook. That is not Italian food and that is not a restaurant NOT RECOMMENDED!

Lovely food - really Flavourful and arrived quickly - one of the dishes served was wrong but correctly quickly and without fuss. Atmosphere was really good in general however our waitress was very disinterested and we felt like we were an inconvenience. Shame as otherwise a lovely night.

brilliant authentic pizza, although one slice was burnt all over on top. wish the chips had seasoning on but all still fresh and much more authentic compared to anywhere else.

Over all it was very poor service! Spent 50 minutes on the phone to the driver even sent him my location and he refused to follow it! Finally got our food after all that time and it was freezing cold so had to heat it up again! Usually love the food from cosy kitchen but after this I’m so disappointed!

Visited with friends and family recently and our visit was nothing short of spectacular. The atmosphere there is so welcoming, and the staff is super friendly. The dishes are not only delicious but also beautifully presented. It's definitely my go-to place for a lovely meal with great service. Our waitress was extremely accommodating to our dietary requirements and gave us recommendations which most definitely did not disappoint. Will definitely be visiting again!

They put lasagna in microwave and it was cold rest of the food was rubbish

Unfortunately food wasn’t made freshly when ordered, it was literally heated in microwave. Food was cold in the middle and I nearly chocked on bay leaf which was in my lasagna. Spaghetti bolognese had the same sauce as lasagna strangely. Funniest thing is microwave next to sitting area :)

Says outside it's Italian and Mediterranean, not Italian at all. I had cannoloni which wasn't great. Think it was lamb. The staff were rude and uninterested

Had been looking for an authentic Italian place for a while, just happened to be nearby and in need of something to eat for Lunch. Both myself and my wife who are both Muslim as well as our infant daughter. The Chef overheard my wife and I discussing what to get as well as our concerns about not knowing what is halal and what is not. He mentioned to us that he has halal and non-halal options on the menu to cater to everyone and he even threw in a complimentary garlic bread pizza for us, which I can’t thank him enough for such a high level of hospitality. The atmosphere is really nice; as the decor is clean and modern, as well as elegant wherever possible. The toilets are absolutely spotless, which is usually a great indicator of the state of a restaurant metaphorically speaking. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and my wife ordered Mussels. The food really lived up to expectations for both of us, as not many places can create a truly authentic Italian pizza. That was definitely the best I’ve had in a while and I used to work in a true Italian-Sicilian restaurant. I’ve been looking for something to scratch that itch of true authentic Italian food. I had a very nice personal conversation with the chef after the meal, and he even congratulated us on the recent birth of our newborn and we showed each other family photos. There needs to be more places like this, but I can truly say there will never be a place that can be better than Cosy Kitchen or come even remotely close! Please keep doing what you’re doing! This was my 3rd visit to Cosy Kitchen. It's the 'go to' eating place for when I'm visiting my brother in Huddersfield. It was raining when we arrived and the waitress immediately offered to take my umbrella and dry it which was a good start. She was polite, attentive and friendly throughout. The menu is varied and offers the usual variety of Italian dishes. Our order included: olives and dough bread starter, 1 salmon & spinach main with a side of sauteed potatoes, 1 Portuguese salad. Drinks: coffees, mineral water. Everything was well-cooked and the sauteed potatoes were gorgeous (perhaps a little on the oily side but gorgeous non the less). The bill came to around £50. My only niggle was the tablecloths were a bit on the heavy-plastic side and stuck to the elbows. Apart from that, it's fine. It's a shame the restaurant was quiet - come on, Huddersfield - you've got a gem here - use it or lose it! And yes, my umbrella was dry by the time we left.

order regular but then got a pink burger so stopped ordering from here for a while, partner convinced me to try again it could of been a one off, been good for a while, but what we got this evening was Grimm, stale and rock hard, I don’t know why I even took a bite but I did, it was like a biscuit in my mouth, I couldn’t eat any of it, if the bread was that stale I am not trusting them with meat, such a shame,
