The staff were very friendly, the coffee was good, and the price was also good - What's not to like :-) Happy to recommend it to others.

We have been meaning to call in here for some time now but have always been passing after 3pm which is when they close. We learned on our visit that this is because the owner has young children and she needs to be with them after school. Not a way to run a business in my opinion but there we have it. The food, however was freshly cooked, hot and tasty( we ordered two breakfasts) and her service and manner were excellent. Good value for money and a lovely selection on the menu. The only drawback of the whole experience was another customer who came in after us and had his phone on speaker whilst he conducted a conversation with someone else in his mother tongue very loudly. Luckily we were half way through our food by this point but had I been the owner I would have asked him to conduct his conversation in a quieter more one sided way. Give this place a go though. Good value and wide choice.

Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches to take away 1 sausage, black pudding and beans on toast and the other sausage and egg in toast both with a hot drink. Upon opening a few minutes later we opened our sandwiches and were disgusted to find the sausages had been butterflied and deep fat fried making them crispy and the black pudding also deep fat fried. The beans had been put separate. The toast was lovely but that was about it. I wouldn't recommend take away breakfast sandwiches from here, the place was empty perhaps why our sausages and black pudding where fried? The staff were really pleasant.

On a morning journey to my home region, I was seized with the impulsive idea of a cooked breakfast. As the nearby parking weighed in at twenty pence for two hours, I soon realised this had to be a win win visit. The cafe interior is simply laid out in traditional style. The previous diner had no sooner left than Tina appeared to wipe clean the table. So now the food. I requested two soft fried eggs on toast, with two rashers of well cooked bacon on the side. Detailed descriptors such as these can land you in hot water in certain environments. Not here. The food arrived just as requested and in my haste I failed to take a picture. The tea was freshly brewed, hot and sweet (yeah I know) and presented in a 'proper' mug. Ah, dear reader the best is yet to come. Tina and the owner Madge were wonderful company and we spent quality time chatting about food, life and this coming Christmas. Return visit? You bet.

We were looking for a spot of lunch, traffic was heave and we spotted the Corner Kitchen with outside seating - ideal for doggie folk like us. So we stopped - and we were glad that we did! Food is excellent and very reasonably priced - customers keep going back and I can understand why - its the service - they even gave us some cut up chicken for the pampered pooch at no extra cost plus they said if we were too cold we could eat indoors! These folk ar stars!

We had completed the cycle path from Chester to Connahs Quay and were in serious need for tea and something to eat. The cafe had closed early but, on seeing us peering in, Denise opened up for us. Wonderful lady and very friendly! The BLT sandwiches hit the spot, as did the tea. We'd certainly call in again, so if you're on your bike, check it out. You won't be disappointed.

The breakfast is quiet good for a corner shop, probably put around 16 people in one sitting, food was ok, bit warm inside as you are in confine space, would possibly go back.

Where shall I start.? Complete calamity. I ordered a cup of tea at the start , I'm still waiting for it now. It took 20 minutes for our food order to be taken. 3 guests arrived after us but we're served before us. We ordered a jacket potato which was cold. The menu is poor also.

I have visited many times, this is a little gem of a traditional cafe with excellent service. It is kept spotlessly clean and the breakfasts for every appetite are second to none. Stop off here because anywhere else will be a disappointment. Super service and food.

Popped into here for a quick bite to eat and drink after going around Mold doing some shopping. The location of the place is ideal as it's located right on the main crossroads of the town and within a very short walk to the other shops in Mold. I found the staff to be very friendly when I entered and they made me feel at ease. I bought a cup of tea and a slice of cake (Persian lemon cake) all for just over £5, which seems reasonable considering other coffee shops. The cake was superb and a decent size for a slice - no scrimping here! Also, it is a nice location to just enjoy a cup of tea whilst watching the world go by, especially if you manage to get one of the window seats. I did notice they had a good choice of drinks and cakes available on the menu, so there should be something for anyone who chooses to visit in the future. Highly recommended!

This used to be a lovely place and the Sunday lunch used to be really nice. They’ve decided to put the prices up and cut the portion sizes now, I questioned about the children’s meal size and apparently it’s tiny now it’s a different chef and wouldn’t even suit a 10 year old. So had to buy an adult portion. Even the 10 year old finished the adults meal! Will never return
