Esto tiene que clasificar como el mejor desayuno para llevar que he tenido. Me sorprendió la calidad, el tamaño de las porciones y el cuidado que se había dedicado a una simple tortilla.

Best pancakes and banana muffins!!! I've been to this cafe with my friend last week and it had such a lovely vibe. I had pancakes which was absolutely tasty and fresh. My friend had a posh nosh break fast which was tasty(according to my friend) and very presentable. They make non dairy coffees also. Oat milk cappuccino is my favorite.

The bad reports should be ignored, the best breakfast in Barnes can be found at the Corner Cafe. We’re regulars for brunch and I mostly start with a perfect cappuccino before tucking into the a delicious power breakfast. It’s beautifully presented, tastes divine and a generous portion. Personally I can’t fault a thing and understand that it takes time to prepare as cooked to order. If feeling very greedy, I buy a couple of cakes to tuck into later in the day.

Having just moved to the area I have been trying out different places for brunch as there are some wonderful little places in Barnes that I will be returning to. The Corner Cafe unfortunately I will not. Myself and a friend were looking forward to starting the day with a decent cappuccino before our breakfast arrived. Unfortunately, despite being almost empty, the coffees took 25 minutes to arrive, just after our breakfast, which was overcooked and chewy, almost like it was microwaved? We really wanted to try a smoothie but didn't want to wait another 20 minutes. It's really overpriced and the woman who served made us feel like it was a huge effort to make anything we asked for and wasn't welcoming or friendly at all. Not an enjoyable experience.

We often visit Anita at this local gem of a cafe and I’m disgusted at the pettiness of the really mean reviews by Harry B. Whoever he is, he should be thoroughly ashamed of himself. Perhaps he should buy takeaways from Sainsbury’s and then he can complain about his own service. Anita is a talented and very hardworking woman and the food is inexpensive and well prepared. Unfortunately this is a small “one-man-band” and the major difficulty is managing and maintaining staff. If you want serious value for money in a family environment you’ll not find anywhere better. But, be patient and have some understanding, if there’s a crowd of people at one time, one chef just cannot always prepare simultaneously five meals. I don’t consider myself so important that I can’t wait a few minutes .. try it and you’ll find the food is well worth waiting for .. and the homemade cakes are excellent.

The Corner Cafe has been my go to for breakfast with my family since I moved to Barnes 5 years ago. The Power breakfast is my absolute fav and I think the Chicken Tikka Curry is one of the best I have ever had. I am not one for reviewing, but find it very disturbing to see someone like Harry B, wishing for the closure of one of the few places left to eat in Barnes, especially after the recent closing of Annie's. Small, family run places like the Corner Cafe is exactly what we need during this time when so much of the High Street is dying. Anyway, if you are looking to be greeted with a smile and want a banana muffin that will blow your mind, I recommend going to the Corner Cafe.

Slowest service in the world, went in with a group of 5 - took about 25 minutes to get 3 coffees and some kids milkshakes. In the end we had to ask to get the coffees to take away as it was getting painful sitting there waiting. They seem to open and shut whenever they want, doesn’t seem to be any regularity in the opening hours at all. Would love a job there to be honest as they seem to be on their own schedule and just close the cafe when they feel like going home! Not a great way to run a business though I would suggest. Go to dolce créma instead, nice people, good service. Hopefully will close down soon and be replaced by something decent. My tip for them would be don’t annoy people who live very locally as it might come back to bite you one day

I came here today to get a Jacket Potato on my lunch break. Not only was I waiting a good 10-15 minutes (when the cafe was empty) the food wasn't appetizing at all. I paid £6.45 and my Tuna and cheese jacket was like eating really mushy mashed potato. It had been microwaved in the plastic container it was served in (as I heard the microwave ping) and was sooo hot I had to ask the assistant for a bag as it burnt my fingers when I picked I up and there was no way I could have carried that to work Jacket Potatoes are definitely not their forte and I wont be ordering one there again

Sydenham has a lot of places to have lunch, we stop at Cobb’s Corner Cafe: no menu outside, but inside a nice and unique atmosphere, the waiters really nice and polite and a lovely variety of drinks and food choices. We order a Curried goat and Vegan curry (chickpeas, spinach and sweet potatoes): both 10/10. Definitely recommended! Definitely we will back!

This is a wonderful place and worth the visit when in the area or around. Everything is cooked fresh to order so if you want a fast food cafe joint where industrial food from the freezer is microwaved in 2min don't come here. This is about fresh food, real food and food cooked with care to give you an experience of simply eating great food and feeling great afterwards, not heavy with processed junk. I cannot fault anything here. We had a traditional poached eggs, salmon, sour bread with avocado (it had chill flakes!), mushrooms and real baked beans home cooked by owner and chef, Anita. If you didn't know, baked beans come from haricot beans (google it!) The presentation was 5-star and the taste of everything was 5-star. Even the hot chocolate and coffee we ordered was 5-star as well as the smoothie. It's simple. We wanted brunch and got brunch, one to remember. I thoroughly recommend this place for the food and service.

We stopped by here for a lunch and drinks and was sadly let done on all fronts! There was only 2-3 people at the restaurant at the time, so there was no reason why the service should be off! I always become suspicious when my order is not written down and in this case, as simple as the order was, they still muffed it! Twice! How hard is it to make a ham and cheese toastie! I placed our order and paid for it at the counter. My sons drink came out fairly quickly, but I had to walk back inside and ask about my coffee. The coffee then eventually came out and it was so bad I didn't drink it! We waited for over fifteen minutes for the toastie and then I walked back inside to ask about it! The guy said I didn't order a toastie and tried to charge me again!! I asked if we could have it quickly now as we've been waiting a long time? After another ten minutes of waiting and not receiving my son's toastie, we got up and left!! We went to another café over the road which was far more accommodating!
