Heard so many goid things about this place and was really looking forward to a meal here with my sister. Very disappointing. Yoghurt bombs to start were amazing but mini poppadoms I think came from a packet. I had chicken murgh and my sister had a king prawn curry. Both very bland - tasted the same but different colours. Service very good but very disappointed with food. Not sure if we chose the wrong things or if it was just a bad night.

This has been my 6th visit. Food and service is excellent as always. It would be great to see some specials occasionsly or more things added to the menu perhaps? Very pleased with food and service each time we've been there.

If you are looking for authentic Indian food that is really well cooked using quality ingredients by attentive friendly staff then this is definitely the place to go. The menu is refreshingly varied from the norm but owner Simi is there to guide you through. Not the biggest restaurant but that adds to the homely feel. Probably best to book to avoid disappointment We will be back

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. We came over from France and popped into this little Indian restaurant tucked into a corner of Reading. Well, we had some of the best food we've ever tasted, and that's an understatement! I highly recommend the place, amazing taste and very friendly staff (I unfortunately didn't get the lady who served us' name, so I can't recommend and thank her specifically but Bravo!)

Outstanding in every respect from arrival welcome to concluding offer of take away of our remains Decor inside so authentic and new planters outside way above the norm Even the cutlery was of authentic Indian origin Service attentive but never overpowering or intrusive AND SO TO THE MAIN EVENT THE FOOD nowhere near your average curry house fare where sometimes you play a game of hide and seek in an attempt to find the meat in thick sauce Have a look at the website for menu’s with accompanying top class photographs not your usual fare but all of that is also catered for with a twist. Have you ever seen whisky as an ingredient in your dish which is also presented with colourful edible flowers. I have now and it was stunning. Street food options would encourage a group of four to use them as starters before a stunning mains and accompanied mixed bread basket but beware you will be carrying home the take away remains Even the normal rice is enhanced such as the lemon rice which includes tiny dried curry leaves All together an instant attack on your tastebuds And so to the cost , not expensive and certainly much less than would be experienced in town and city centres. Also look out for the various special offers such as early bird deals etc Always a good sign to see fellow diners being Asian couples and families including beside us a large table populated by an infant to a grandparent, All so charming and well behaved even the grandparents Our first visit but certainly not our last Our first

A wonderful restaurant, the customer service from the owner and the staff the moment you step inside the door to leave is exceptional. The food looks amazing and tastes delicious. The lamb chops were really tasty and melted in the mouth, the sauces to die for. The Coriander Club is certainly going to be a regular for us, authentic food cooked to perfection.

On the outskirts of Reading lies this curiosity. Only having opened in December 2023, Coriander Club is fast building itself an enviable reputation for fantastic Punjabi food. I took my mother there for lunch. We had the seekh kebab and yoghurt bomb starters, and chicken biryani and dhaba chicken masala (requested off the bone) with garlic naans for mains. The food was so fresh and tasty, full of flavour. We were full and contented, yet forced ourselves to have a kulfi for dessert! An excellent addition to Reading. We will be back.

We had heard great reviews about the Coriander Club & thought we would try it. SO glad we did! This restaurant is going to become a real favourite, taking over from our current ‘place to go’ in Tilehurst. Absolutely great food and the service was outstanding. The Staff are delightful. Authentic food cooked to perfection. Cocktails lovely! Highly recommend. I met Simi the Owner & told her that she should be proud of such a fab restaurant- loved it! Show less

What a fantastic experience, the food was amazing, the service fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect. The street food 'starters' were some of the best dishes I've had, and the authentic Punjabi mains were bursting with flavour. We will be going back, it was busy, so worth booking.

I stayed locally but searched to see if there were any good Indian restaurants nearby. This appears to he a new one in the area but had superb reviews. Sunday evening, and I ordered onion bhaji, which were some of the nicest I've had in a long time. Then it was a favourite of mine, the Rogan Josh with lamb. Just wow, the lamb was succulent and no fat and melted in the mouth. The sauce was to die for and had just the right amount of heat. Excellent and friendly service, and although only a small restaurant, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and make sure you book! Having travelled the UK and visited award winning restaurants as nominated in the curry Oscars, this was right up there with them and won't be long before they will be in contention for recognition. Thanks, guys, and I be back very soon.

Visited for the first time. Excellent service very attentive staff. Food was amazing great taste and lovely presentation. My only criticism would be venue too small tables too close, we were sat by the curtain to toilets not a great spot with people coming and going, also a bit chilly in there.

Our first time visiting this local restaurant and could not have wished for a better experience. The food was out of this world and very different from the usual Indian restaurant choice. Beautifully presented and exquisitely perfected. But the staff themselves make this restaurant so great. So welcoming and efficient, without being intruding. Alrhough fairly restricted for space, one staff member told us that they would be shortly opening up an area at the back giving 40 more covers. They are also currently using the cafe next door in the evenings to help with extra space due to their popularity. We will definitely be back.

Moved to the area in 2017 expecting to find a decent Indian restaurant in the area. Until now this has been very difficult if not impossible. Found the Coriander Club a few weeks ago, thinking it was just another curry house… I was so wrong.. The food is unreal, authentic, very tasty and well presented. My wife and I had an amazing meal. With this local to us, it will be our go to restaurant. Jay and the team were very keen to ensure we had a great experience, Very welcoming and good conversation about Amritsar, see you guys again soon.

Wow, what fantastic food! So different from your ‘run of the mill’ restaurants. Every dish we tried had such beautiful flavours. The starters/street food were delicious; we all thought the samosa chaat was particularly good. The mains were incredible. Our favourite was the coriander club special chicken, which had such depth of flavour, closely followed by the lamb biryani and the butter chicken. It would be wrong not to mention the makhani daal - the perfect side that complements every dish. Lovely, attentive serving staff made our experience even better. We can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu!

A Well cooked meal, hot and well presented. The Ibex is situated in Chaddleworth, a pretty village in West Berkshire, about 7 miles North of Newbury. A good chef.

Tucked away in a retirement complex is this super little place offering a variety of delicious food, all home made, at ridiculously reasonable prices, prepared and served by a lovely couple. Find it and give it a try.

I go here regularly. Small friendly little cafe in the village shop. Sometimes buy as popular with hikers and cyclists in the area as well as being used by us locals. Fantastic for a brief cuppa, with excellent barrista coffees and pots of tea with an excellent range of made locally or in house cakes, sausage rolls, pasties etc. Some rather fantastic 'salad' options [coleslaw] made freshly to accompany the above and there's always a good 'soup of the day', again made freshly. Wonderful people watching either indoors or out and really friendly volunteers running this community owned cafe. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved everything about the restaurant. Food was a really high standard, well presented and a good variety (everything from turkey with all the trimmings to a vegan pithivier). The waiters/waitresses were a little shy but we had great service. It's an absolute bargain for a 3 course christmas dinner (£20!), what's not to like
