The Copper Kiln in Falkirk

This restaurant is a really classy and delicious place to dine, not to mention convenient, for those of us lucky enough to be staying at the Richmond Park Motel. The menu is not too busy but offers a great assortment of various dishes- seafood, pasta, chicken, pork, roasts, gluten free and others. There are also a wide assortme t of whiskeys and other mixed drinks. The cocktails are delicious. Presentation of the plates is classy and would be awarded in a chef competition. We have competing chef relatives in the business and believe they would give a great big tick of approval for what this restaurant offers. To top off fabulous food there is attentive, friendly and professional service offered at each and every visit whether it be breakfast, brunch.lunch, coffee or dinner. Visited today for an afternoon tea for two. Both Quantity and quality were to an excellent standard and would recommend to all our friends to definitely mark a date in their diary to visit and sample the fabulous fair on offer.

The restaurant is modern and we chose to sit in the balcony area which was our preference. We had starters, main and desert all 10/10 and lovely presentation of all food. Could not fault staff very helpful and made us feel welcome.

We were looking for a restaurant to celebrate my birthday in September and came here for few drinks and a look around. There was a very warm welcome at the bar when we arrived and we had a good feeling about this place from the outset. The staff we met were terrific, so friendly, charming and efficient. They were (names in order of appearance!) Craig, Amy and Lucy and they deserve great praise for their customer service skills. Lucy even took us into the restaurant for a tour and it is modern and welcoming with furniture and fittings to a high standard. The toilets were modern and scrupulously clean. We saw some meals served to other customers in the bar and the dishes looked very nice. We won’t wait until my birthday to have a meal here as the menu looks really good so we’ll be back before then. I’ll review again when we have dined here.

£17.50 for a beef dinner that the best thing you could say about it was the roast potatoes. They were lovely. We had to request extra gravy as it was a light smattering. The beef was chewy and covered in fat and we would have explained this to the staff had anyone come to check how our meal was, yet with three or four staff on this was also lacking. Out of four of us, three were unable to eat their beef. The fourth had chicken and were saved from the ordeal. Via disappointed as we were looking forward to a good Sunday dinner and it left us chewy rather for a long time on our beef. As a side note the head waiter / manager was lovely when we found lipstick on a wine glass and was very quick to exchange this.

Was lucky enough to eat here - honestly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Can't wait to return!

On an Itison voucher for afternoon tea and this was just excellent. Super food, lovely staff and great setting.

Ate here 2 nights of our 3 night stay at Richmond park. The food was brilliant quality, the first night I had the confit duck leg and it was delicious. The second time the venison taretare to start and muscles for main, and a pear tart tatin, again delicious. Both nights finished off with one of many whiskeys to choose from! staff very friendly and great to our little daughter (kids menu and food also brilliant) prices fair and a nice selection on the menu. Not too much and you know everything is done well. Will 100% be back.
