Authentic dining, very relaxed atmosphere, excellent customer service and the food is delicious. I've dined here a few times and had great experiences. Even when there was an issue with my fellow diners meal they handled the situation swiftly, professionally and without fuss... Ordered veg dansak and chicken karari asked for both to be spicy, unfortunately the veg dansak tasted like boiled vegetables added to a bland dal no taste at all very bland and awful…even the chickpea starter was awful…...certainly won’t be ordering from here again….waste of money as had 2 spoonfuls rest got binned shows how awful it was!

I and my friend today had the pleasure of dining at Connoisseur Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was incredibly relaxing, setting the perfect tone for our meal. We started our culinary journey with their signature dishes – Chilli Momo, Jhol Momo, Chicken Tikka, and Chicken Chaumin. Each dish was bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's expertise and dedication to quality ingredients. The Chilli Momo and Jhol Momo were packed with delicious spices, while the Chicken Tikka and Chicken Chaumin had a perfect balance of flavors that left us craving for more. This restaurant is great and the food is tasty, authentic and not at all oily. The menu includes beautiful fish dishes which i tend to prefer like salmon tikka as well as many tasty vegetable dishes. The prawn puri as a starter is delicious. I will be returning for healthy and delicious Indian food served by a very friendly team.

Decided to come here at the last min. The place was packed. Luckily we were able to get a reservation. The service was amazing and the food was good.

Our experience at The Connoisseur was nothing short of fantastic. The food was not only delicious but also served in generous portions, making it perfect for sharing among four people. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly and attentive service, guiding us to the best selections like the flavorful chicken korma and the mouthwatering prawns in tikka masala sauce. The mango lassi was a delightful accompaniment, and the coconut naan was a standout, elevating the dining experience. I can't wait to revisit and explore more of their delectable menu. You can enjoy good Indian food. Momos and biryani is great. Panner sizlar is bland can be improvised. Over all I will say good place to visit when you are in Harrow in hill side. Staf is cooperative. Cost wise few things can looked it but. Good place.

Wow we ordered a take out last night and the food was amazing. The chicken jalfrezi in the masala sauce was delicious as well as the rest of the food. Thank you Mr Chef your food was outstanding. I will be ordering again from you soon.

Our family has been coming here for almost 3 years now and we’ve seen 3 owners change but the food is always good and tastes very traditional. Definitely a hidden gem!

Usually excellent , have been visiting here for many years now, biryani is amazing! Just recently I feel the food quality has changed. Their original biryani recipie has also changed in the last few years. In the most recent visit, the starters didn't have much flavour, like kebabs, both chicken and veg, like the pieces were cooked separately and just added on some masala later separately, so tasted less flavourful and under seasoned. The biryani however was excellent.. different from their original years ago but delicious. It was almost as though biryani was made by a different chef and the rest of the food served was cooked by someone else. Other than that, the experience was good, great service.

My family always comes here, the food is just so good! There was a recent change in management, but the new owner is great and she was really sweet to my grandparents. The service was also great, and our server was really attentive to my allergies which was really kind. The pilau rice was really well cooked, and the chicken momos were delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant for Indian food!

Found the restaurant at a last moment, went for an early dinner with my friend. Totally amazed by the service and fabulous food or i can say authentic touch to the food which is hard to even get it from big restro's nowadays in nearby areas. Manager or owner was very attentive and friendly. It's a must try on place.

Amazing food, really hitting the spot without being too greasy or overloaded with spices but perfect balance of well prepared spices foods to get the real taste, great location in Harrow on the hill, a village vibe with great restaurant. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with pure professionalism. The front of house staff were friendly, recommending dishes to try, and went on to explain that one of our starters would take alittle longer to arrive, due to the steaming time, but they would bring the rest of the starters, so that we weren't keep waiting. All the food was too high standard, and we have already spoken about visiting again, we enjoyed it so much. The staff kept approaching to see if everything was alright, but not in an encroaching way, they were very humble, and genuinely interested in making sure we were enjoying our experience. We will definitely go again.

A gem on the Hill Great atmosphere, amazing food with outstanding service. It is not easy to go to restaurant with young kids.The staff and the manager made our visit with two kids very memorable with their caring nature. Every food we tried were fresh, delicious and good portion size. Very affordable too. We will definitely be visiting again.

All Staff are really nice special binu is fabulous .goat curry & butter chicken is my personal favourite ,lovely music, i highly recommend this place .

The food was very bad. It's just different meat and veg tosses in the same plain sauce. I would be upset about the small portion but the food was too poor.

Ordered online, they then called to say didn’t have one item from my order, gave an alternative took ages to get that approved, I called them back to confirm all fine they said yes. 45 minutes later my order was cancelled. Called back to find out what the issue was. Driver issues then woman called Binu hung up on me. Left hungry an hour after ordering food. Never tried their food never will, awful service and experience.

The Naan and Lamb Biriyani was very good … we also had the goat curry which was delicious. The service was great and all round very good .. was our first time in there and would definitely go again.

We dined here before the pandemic and we really enjoyed it then. Decided to come back to celebrate our anniversary. The food tasted ok at the time but the next day I had serious diarrhoea throughout the day 👎👎

However it is well served by the 258 bus and we made our booking for 8.30 pm. WOW... This is undoubtably some of the very best Indian dishes we have ever had. The quality of the meat succulent prawns crisp bajis, tender melting chicken, the aromatic sauces, and beautifully puffed and crisp naan breads, mouthwatering starters, were all without fault. We had a prawn in spinach dish which was incredible and the wines were not too expensive.`The service was quick, attentive, helpful and friendly. We are definately coming back here as soon as we can. We paid around £100 for two people with starters and 2 beers, one bottle of wine and two main courses and rice and naan, and we also took a takeaway chicken tikka masala home for our daughter. If you havnt' been GO!! this is a really lovely restaurant and a real treat.

Very nice restaurant. Took parents for Mother’s Day dinner yesterday. They really enjoyed it. The food was really tasty and authentic. Also the staffs were really welcoming and attentive. I recommend everyone to visit this place.

The worst curry I've ever had. We ordered two seperate dishes and they had exactly the same sauce despite being described differently on the menu. We ordered paneer makhni and one chicken tikka the sauce tasted exactly like Heinz cream of tomato soup in both. I can see that other people have complained about this 3 years ago too... It tastes AWFUL and it's so disappointing to know they have been doing this for years. Also, when ordering onion bhaji, expect to receive scraps that have clearly been reheated. They arrived to the table soggy. The staff also do not speak english fluently and were rude when ordering and paying. The restaurant charges and an arm and leg as they are situated up on the hill and they try to present themselves as a gourmet restaurant. However, the food quality and service is far worse than any *indian takeaway* that we've ever eaten!

Beautiful setting, divine mango lassi (really the best I have ever had). The food is delicious and the service very friendly. Servings are large. Definitely the place to go for fine Indian/Nepalese dining.

Lovely Biryani Special and Lassani Chicken, well made and tender meat, not the cheapest but worth it. Service was v good too. FYI we asked for hot.

Trip advisor I have been a regular customer at the Connoisseur. The food is lovely and always a pleasure to dine there. And the service is as you would expect from Asian hospitality, the staff can not do enough for you, and all you have to do is ask if you have any questions and they do there utmost to please you. I look forward to returning again as go my friends that were with me. Happiness agreed by all.

Have visited a few Asian restaurants over time, but would still rate The Connoisseur at the top of ladder, we will always return and would highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent food always delicious, Tandori mix grill is our favourite and this time we tried Salmon tikka sizzler, they were superb, also enjoy the Chicken momo. Never go wrong with the quality of food and the service at the connoisseur, superb as ever. Amazing customer service felt very welcomed by staff definitely a good place for some good Indian food.

I visited connoisseur Saturday eve 7th January with my daughter. This is a restaurant I went back to after a number of years. Living on the hill I normally get a takeaway. The food is great. However it has unfortunately gone downhill in every other aspect. I’m not sure if it’s changed hands. It was noisy with really terrible music. Disorganised and very shabby. The staff were all three of them , unkempt and more interested in conversing amongst themselves rather than notice customers. The bar area looked dirty and thrown together. I remember a few years ago it was a different story. This restaurant was one of my favourites. It was super clean and the ambience was relaxing. It played soothing instrumental Indian music and had glorious black and white paintings of beautiful traditional Indian women on the walls adding to the pleasure of Indian food. The decor was aesthetically pleasing. The tables and chairs were that of a high class restaurant. Sadly last night the black and white portraits had been replaced with posters off the internet stating ‘ if you focus on the good the good gets better’ and other such general prints. Awful! My biggest disappointment were the staff. It was difficult to get their attention as they were always laughing and joking amongst themselves. This never happened before. I expected attentive and polite staff. The manager was somewhat aware of my frustration as he did keep looking over but never quite managed to manage. Sorely disappointed to say the least. The plus point the food was good and therefore complements to the chef. The toilets were awful. I wonder how clean that kitchen is ? It reminded me of eating in a noisy train station more than a nice restaurant. Please connoisseur sort it out. Tara

Met with old friends (+/- 7 adults), their kids and our twin 2 year olds for lunch and had one of the most enjoyable afternoons for a very, very long time! The food was AMAZING!! The service was exceptional - the two gents working there went out of their way to ensure our kids were happy (were so sweet with them), and that we had everything we needed. And, did I mention the food?! Absolutely delicious - if we didn't live so far away, we'd be back at least once a week! (Actually, the chicken they made for our twins might make this a regular 3hr round trip :) (I had the king prawn masala - INCREDIBLE!!) Honestly can't say enough about the awesome staff, they were so kind and made us feel totally looked after - all round outstanding outing! Thank you so much :)

Me and my husband visited the restaurant friday evening for dinner. Our experience was very nice. Tasty food. Nice and cozy ambience. Friendly staff. Quick service. Reasonable price. We are vegetarian so we ordered beetroot delight, tandoori broccoli and crispy mushroom (chef recommendation). Mains - tandoori parantha, tandoori roti, bhindi masala and kofte (chef recommendation). Whatever chef recommended it was very tasty. Other food items also delicious. I can recommended it for a good family out spot.

Enjoyed a meal here recently. Nice busy atmosphere but staff were very attentive even though busy. Food is tasty and served up hot (as in not lukewarm on cold plates) on hot plates. Worth a visit to see for yourself.

Fabulous tasty food. We visited for Sunday lunch and had the most wonderful food we’ve had for sometime. Everything is freshly prepared, so be prepared to wait if the restaurant is busy, but the weight is worth it. charming staff and very reasonably priced

We were a party of 10 adults with a mix of vegetarians & non vegetarians. We had pre ordered the starters which were served right on time. Mohit the manager is very accommodating & helped make our experience a smooth & enjoyable one. The food was good & prepared mild according to our request. Most items were tasty except perhaps the Paneer which was a bit dry. Overall great value for money.

Id walked past this many times and wasn't sure what to expect. A friend and I tried this and the food quality and taste is excellent.. we tried he okra curry, aloo gobi and the manchurian. You could taste the freshness of the okra. And I am Indian, vegan and a total foodie so hard to please. The service was excellent too. They have a vegan section in the menu which a bonus surprise too. Very tasty.
