I think the manager has now left due to illness. We went for a quick drink, no draft beer, served cans instead, not much of a welcome from the person behind the bar or apology for having no draft beer.

According to Google, this shop has been open since 5:30 AM, but when I arrived (8am), there was hardly anything available to buy. I asked if they had pancakes, and they said, “Not yet.” What’s the point of running a bakery if your products aren’t ready for sale? Very disappointing

600 clydach roadWe visited today and had the cream tea from the light bites menu and it was amazing. Everything was fresh, tasty and well presented. The honey and almond scone was beautiful. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. We will most definitely call again soon.
