The Collab in Waltham Forest

Recuerdo cuando abrió el Collab y lo increíble que era la cerveza y la comida... nos mudamos de Walthamstow y volvimos este fin de semana solo para tener una experiencia decepcionante. Odio las alitas picantes y me encantaban sus I Gochu Wings que solían hacer... investigué antes de venir y vi que las hacían en el menú para llevar así que asumí que podían hacerlas en casa. La camarera prácticamente se rió de mí y básicamente insinuó que debía irme a casa y ordenarles que los tuvieran... ¡¿qué diablos? Solía trabajar como camarera y 9 de cada 10 veces podíamos armar algo que no estaba en el menú... Especialmente si estaba disponible para la entrega! ¡Esto no tiene sentido! También escuchamos a una camarera decirle a alguien con una computadora portátil que el negocio había sido terrible esta semana. ¿Dónde está la lógica? De todos modos, nunca volveremos de nuevo!

En 10 años en Londres esta fue la hamburguesa más pequeña que tuve la infelicidad de pedir. Esta aparentemente era la mejor hamburguesa en el menú. ¿Me costó 15 libras con patatas fritas, queso? Tuve que cavar y perseguir porque la rodaja era tan cosa que apenas podía probar, la carne era extremadamente delgada y se sienta solo en 2 / 3 dentro de la hamburguesa. Lo curioso es que solía ir a este lugar en el pasado y la hamburguesa de la casa era grande, respetuoso y 10 de 10 en todo. Parece que están aumentando las ganancias reduciendo el tamaño y carecen de sabor, si tengo que juzgar por la mejor hamburguesa en el menú, ciertamente no volvería. ¡MUCHO que mejorar!

Excelente almuerzo del domingo. Comienzo de gambas - gambas enormes, picante. Asados crujientes. Al dente veg. Bonito ambiente para adultos o familias. irá de nuevo por la noche. El servicio fue alegre, amable y eficiente.

Pagó £ 29 por dos porciones de alas, incluida la tarifa de entrega de Deliveroo. Esperaba recibir dos porciones bastante grandes dado el precio. Llegó y no podría haber sido más de £ 3 valor de comida. Absolutamente atroz. Tampoco se incluyeron salsas que debían venir con cada porción de alitas. Las alas eran buenas, pero esto es una locura. Solía hacer un pedido al Collab en 2021 y pagaba £ 6 y recibía más alas de las que obtenía ahora por £ 13.

Muy caro pero cuando lo hacen bien es bueno. Tristemente, esto casi nunca es así. Los últimos pedidos han sido una mezcla de dos hamburguesas diferentes, cuando llamé para preguntar, el hombre dijo que hablaría con el chef y podía escuchar al chef gritar de fondo que no se había equivocado de pedido. Ahora se han puesto a escribir insultos en las órdenes de entrega Manager dijo que lo investigaría, pero no es sorprendente que nada se ha hecho al respecto. No volveré a pedirles ya que no merecen mi dinero. un recordatorio de que son los clientes los que pagan sus salarios, no el restaurante. ver foto para el último pedido.

Vale la pena visitarlo. Fue para el lanzamiento de su nuevo menú de asado del domingo y no fue decepcionado. La comida era deliciosa, los tamaños de las porciones generoso y buena relación calidad-precio. Comenzamos con un cóctel retro de gambas para compartir y luego tuvimos la costilla corta y el cordero. ¡Porque somos codiciosos también tuvimos el tiramisú! Los niños también se divirtieron con su versión de un asado dominical (pollo frito con papas fritas), entretenido por los lápices de colorear Collab y papel. Por último, tomé un par de copas de vino de su lista de copas, así que tuve el Gruner de Austria seguido por el Susumaniello de Apulia, ¡no a menudo tienes esa opción en un restaurante! El personal era genial. Como digo, merece una visita.

Excelente asado dominical. Hace tiempo que no tengo una costilla corta de res del tamaño de mi brazo. Conocí al dueño Paul que era encantador y nos recomendó una botella de vino para compartir. Gran hospitalidad e incluso mejor comida.

Dejó caer solo la mitad de algo refrescante, olió la comida y decidió quedarse a comer algo. Me alegro de que lo hicimos, el personal era realmente genial, la cerveza era buena, pero las hamburguesas eran muy sabrosas con una gran textura. ¡Vale la pena tomar la opción de ensalada en lugar del bollo! WOW 👌 Absolutamente fantástico. El personal es increíble. Ness nos cuidó, es una estrella🌟. Nos hizo tan bienvenidos. Su recomendación de Lager fue puntual. Soy una cesárea del ala de búfalo y las que tenía aquí son prob. El mejor que he tenido. La hamburguesa doblemente destrozada fue sensacional. Hubiera estado toda la noche pero tuvo que irse al concierto de Pink. Si estás en Walthamstow y no visitas aquí, te lo estás perdiendo.

Used to be good but wouldn’t order from here again. I have an allergy and cannot eat lettuce so add order notes Last few orders have ranged from burgers which are greasy Order noted ignored Items in burger which aren’t advertised as being part of the burger ie items from other burgers Spoke to the Manager and advised “our orders are rarely wrong” Last 3 burgers have been wrong. Not worth the overpriced charges.

Advertised as Beer and Burgers gives an apt description of what the restaurant offers. We were a walk in party of 4 and manged to find a table at this very busy venue. I had the double stack burger with stilton cheese washed down with a couple of pints of craft IPA. Getting refills was a little slow but nevertheless did not spoil our night. The food was tasty but the burger did not come with fries as they were a side order.

No doubt about the quality of the pale ale and burgers here. However you will be paying top £ for the privilege. A pint and six wings cost me £18. I’d check out a pub called The Chequers in the high street. The food and pale ale is better

It is a real shame that I have to review like this as the first time I came here it was amazing from start to finish the food the service everything - however having recently been twice with family and other members of my family having been on multiple occasions over the past year the service has really declined- to the point why would you pay a service charge for little - no & ignorant table service? The food is slightly overpriced for what you receive and other than their special burger there is nothing totally unique , however the chefs do an excellent job with the food itself and it is always hot looks and tastes great. The menu is a little confusing and the bar selection is not fantastic but has everything you need. The environment looks great with a good vibe which makes it all the more disappointing when your server has no idea what they are doing, when they take the order wrong , and when ( even when very quiet) you table ends up full of uncleared plates, no one checked if things were ok after serving the wrong food etc then we could have walked out without paying because frankly no one could have cared less and the toilet facilities were filthy with hand soap on the toilet seats, heir & urine and just generally not kept clean at all there is rustic and then there is filthy. To summarise the chefs are great the decor is great the food tastes great but everything else is really quite off putting and the staff really Ruined it for us with only 3 tables occupied in the whole place they just sat chatting not nothing with anyone. Personally we won’t be going here again and given it so many chances due to convenience but literally can’t stomach it anymore.

Lovely lunch. Great stout and Berger was wonderful and very flavoursome. Good choice from menu. Atmosphere was modest and friendly.

Awful customer service! I arrived to a near empty restaurant with several staff present behind the bar- who paid no attention to what was going on on the floor and took forever to come and take my order.. When my food arrived, I asked for a second drink and the bill- which never arrived. After 15 minutes I had to ask for the drink and bill again- despite the still empty restaurant the disinterested waitress had forgotten to bring it. As I reordered the drink I politely complained about the lack of service- to which the reply from the young girl with a German accent was: ‘if you don’t like it You can leave’. Wow 😅 Talk about lack of customer service, on all levels. Please sort your staff out, collab. Your food is good.

Went as a family and the staff were happy to accommodate the different requests we had with the menu. Everyone really enjoyed their burgers and wings. Large selection of beers on offer. We had a great meal!

this is a bar / restaurant formed from the collaboration of a street food catering company and a local small craft beer producer and I thought it works quite well. The result is some very tasty burgers ( £10 to £14 ) and chicken wings and some good craft ales. You can go here just for a beer, but most people will use it as a restaurant, as we did to line the stomachs before exploring what the locals are trying to market as the Blackhorse Beer Mile. A single square room, there is a bar at the back with a Brewdog style beer list above a multiple tap wall (14 if my memory serves me correctly). But the rest of the space is table seating with an elevated section to the front windows. Signaturebrew now brew in two locations in East London with a new site in an industrial estate just off Black Horse Lane joining the original location in the railway arches at Haggerston, and a good range of their beers were available here in the usual half, two thirds or pint sizes alongside guests from other craft beer brewers. Usual inflated craft beer price levels and you would not get much change out of £6 for a pint of most of these. Between us we tried the Moose Mousse Stout, Roadie IPA and Passions Pale Ale with our burgers and thought they were actually some of the best craft beers we had all day.

Absolutely amazing place.. came for dinner on the Monday and the waitress took our order of five people without a pad… returned 2 nights later and sat down and the same waitress read out our order from memory.. truly amazing and amazing food both times! Oh and the beer was spot on too! Wish we had one in Cornwall

Superb (award winning) wings made a good sharing starter, and I followed with a ‘Frank’, a tasty, juicy burger with bacon and blue cheese. Accompanying were the unbelievably good dripping fries, also shared. Craft beers came from the local Signature brewery, also very good. Good music too, and large TV was showing the Euro football during our visit.

Walking in, you get Warehouse/Industrial vibes and then greeted warmly and show to a table. Really good atmosphere, stripped back and edgy interior. Simple Menu, but more than enough choices of everything which means they should get it right... they did. Burger are cooked lovely, juicy, great combos of flavours and strong bun choice. I would highly recommend the Chilli Cheese Fries as a side, it is wonderful!! Loads of choices of beers and ales catering for the East London obsession and good wines/sparkling choices too. Service was great, it very open plan so anyone can see you wherever you are so no looking around for help - you'll catch an eye in a few seconds. This will be my first restaurant trip when we are allowed out again! Cheers Guys.

Came in on Tuesday, Beers are great, food is wonderful, but the staff really topped it off. We ordered two of their £10 burger deals - not only was the burger cooked to perfection but the staff were totally on the ball with their service. Even the ambience was great considering all the covid changes, they really went out of their way to preserve a great atmosphere. 10/10 would 100% eat there again.

Really enjoyed my visit to The Collab. Despite living nearby, this was my first visit, but definitely won't be my last. I felt extremely safe with covid restrictions put in place. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive. I don't drink beer and was allowed to taste a few options before making my choice. I can't fault any of the food; burgers, dripping fries etc were delicious! Thank you to our beautiful waitress with the fab nails!!

Discrete, but effective social distancing greeted us. Very happy with my choice of craft beer and a very good burger. The beef dripping fries were especially delightful.

This place ia located few min away from Walthamstow st and offer selection of beers on tap and burgers. They also have live music. Beers are nice but the price could be a little cheaper.
