Popped in here for lunch with my husband and not disappointed. Warm, clean and comfortable with friendly staff who are volunteers. Food is delicious, recommend the ham, Brie and cranberry sandwich, and reasonably priced. Two coffees, a wrap and a sandwich served with crisps and salad for £10.

A warm welcome greeted us at this coffee shop on a very cold day. We had a very nice cafetière of coffee and a lovely slice of coffee and walnut cake. The prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly.

I've met a neighbour visiting The Coffee Tree at Duke St church with a group of her family this afternoon. The church volunteers serving customers were welcoming and friendly taking the time to say hello. Another neighbour here today highly recommends the cheese and tomato sandwich, toasted, which is lovely and fresh. For those with mobility challenges like him the disabled toilet is an advantage. There are disabled parking spaces right outside the entrance which has a subtly designed ramp to the wheelchair friendly door. There is plenty of room by the entrance for mobility scooters to park in full view of the cafe seating area for good security. It is very child friendly, too. The menu has reasonably priced children's items. Ideal for all the family and great value for money if you fancy a light lunch or just coffee and cake.

The best Cappuccino in Sutton Coldfield and the best value for money. Came to enjoy the background music, read the newspapers provided and use the free wi-fi in the cheerful cafe. The super coffee and cakes are a bonus! Looking forward to coming again for lunch and trying the Christmas Panini freshly made with turkey, sausage, stuffing and cranberry, a bargain at £3.45. On Friday 2 December they will be open from 10-12 rather than the usual 10-2 but Softplay for the kids will still be available. A great grandmother just told me she brought her family visiting with her first great grandchild. It is a perfect place to bring children of any age as it is very child friendly. Really glad I decided to pop in.

A delightful place to relax whilst enjoying lovely home made cakes, excellent coffee and tea served by welcoming, friendly staff, music quietly in the background, free wifi and newspapers make it a place apart from the main chain coffee outlets and all at a more reasonable price. It is nothing like a normal Church cafe and it is just a shame that they are only open for three mornings . We visit regularly and have never been disappointed.

This is a great find - tucked away from the bustle of the main road down into Sutton Coldfield is "the coffee tree" held in the atrium of Duke Street Church. But this isn't your ordinary church run coffee shop. It has free newspapers and wifi, so is a great place to sit and work if you want a break from the home office. Or a really comfortable venue for a work meeting. Plenty of space for push chairs and on alternate fridays a soft play group is held in an adjoining room ...what a great idea, so the littlies can play whilst the mums catch up, with coffee and cake. The menu is varied and extremely good value for the quality of the first class fairly traded coffee, and the homemade fayre. The lunch menu is simple, paninis/baked potatoes/home made soup...but really good value. Resticted opening hours - mon/tues closed Weds - 10.00am tll 12pm Thurs/Fr - 10.00am till 2pm Sat/sun - closed

The Church offers a cafe open to all. Restricted opening - Wednesday 10am to 12 midday, offering lovely coffees and super home made cakes, or toast/toasted tea cakes. On Thursday and Friday they are open from 10 am to 2 pm and after midday offer home made soup and roll, fresh filled baguettes, paninis and sandwiches. Find this cafe down Duke Street (off Birmingham Road, near the Cottage Hospital) and make your own mind up.

Had a buffet delivered, gold star for 10 people.. when it arrived various items missing had to make a couple of texts to ask for the missing items to be delivered. Tbf, some of the buffet was okay, but salad/crudities were not good, cold mangetout, horrible cold mini corn.. A lot of money for what we had. We did get money back for the missing dips and coleslaw (only 1 delivered) they did send a lovely lady round with the missing items, by which time all our guests had arrived. We were celebrating big birthdays across our family
