Mash potato was very dry and lumpy and the chicken curry was also very chewy and watery, which is a shame

always amazing quality, just wish their lasagne was halal :)

Ordered baked potato with beans then paid for extra cheese. I did not order baked potatoe beans and cheese. It arrived with the cheese on the bean it was a runny greasy mess. Why they put cheese with the beans I’ve no idea. Sadly, I will not use

Absolutely delicious and it’s nice to see somewhere that does lots of vegetarian opinions. Portions were big too and the coleslaw was a lovely addition to the salad.

I've been eating at this place for over 35 years ( changed hands a couple of times in that time). It's convenient for me, as I travel to and from Newport regularly by bus. I've tried quite a few of the dinner options on the menu ( there is a varied choice), with the current owners and have enjoyed everything. The food is always served quickly and hot. My favourite is the home made chicken curry...absolutely delicious. Once I'd tried it, I've never ordered anything different.

the delivery driver was very rude and while I was at the door spat in my garden very very rude and absolutely disgusting

Honestly no idea why people rate this place so highly. The food is awful, the prices way too high for the shocking quality of the food. It's all Bookers lowest quality rubbish.

So I buy a breakfast roll for it to be served in a burger bun? Delivered fast. Needs better description if i knew it would be served in a burger bun I wouldn't of bothered. Miss sold items once again!

Such a shame ordered from here many times and so lovely food. However just eat used my wrong address and when trying to rearrange delivery the driver was rude and the restaurant was rude and was told it was left outside my old property when my neighbour went to get it for me literally a minute later the food was gone so can only assume the delivery driver actually took it. Don’t be rude to your customers as you won’t last long.

Food is underwhelming, full of condensation. Bacon is tough and cold. Beans are cold.

to call what was delivered today as a portion of chicken curry , i find astonishing , all i can assume is that i had the last portion from your pot , as to be generous to you i had less than 5% of chicken in the curry . you should be done under the trade descriptions act , if i could complain and get a refund i would , i would love to hear the sellers response to this review.

There's been no delivery but says it's be delivered there's no food

Ordered and delivered in half an hour and I live miles away from the cafe. Food was piping hot, can was nice and cold and the beans even came separate so no need to use the sausage as a breakwater. All day brekkie.

Burger meal arrived fresh hot and was lovely. Havnt opened, tasted or even looked at the sandwich yet its for my tea later im sure it will be lovely

We met with some friends for breakfast. The cafe is spotlessly clean and well laid out. The food is cooked fresh and hot. The service was excellent. Where it looses points is, I was really cold. And although I can't eat with my coat on, I put it back on quickly. Despite being sat next to a really hot radiator. I would imagine it it much warmer later in the day. I do go here from time to time. And this is the 1st time I have felt so cold.

Drinks were missing, bacon was like rubber and eggs were cold

I ASKED FOR NO ONIONS AND BARBECUE SAUCE NO SAUCE AND ONIONS PUT IN THE CHEESE, ASKED FOR NO SALAD AND SALAD CAME WITH THE ORDER. PERHAPS THE STAFF NEED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL TO LEARN TO READ

We have been going to this same cafe for years and the food is lovely and the staff are really friendly too.

High rating so that it’s seen. £2.50 delivery charge and they ring for you to meet them in the street like a drug dealer. While the food I’ve paid for in advance gets cold. Coffee shop it’s your reputation. Pay someone to deliver if that’s the business you’re in. And Just eat, Is that how you named the company? Just eat it before he drives away and you have to wait a week for a refund.

Very rude driver and went to the wrong location. I went halfway to where they were to meet them halfway and collect the order but the driver was very rude to me!!! It said on the order that it was delivered after, even though I never saw the driver at all!!! NOT HAPPY AND WILL NOT BE ORDERING ON JUST EAT AGAIN!!!!!

Not sure if this is the restaurant or the driver but it took over an hour after ordering for a driver to be assingned then suddenly delivered but not to me ! Still here and hungry 😡

Will never order from here again four kiddies meals missing over £22 worth of food paid for and missing leaving four hungry kids by not sending the correct order. When I phoned to speak to them to sort it out the response i got was not my problem. Avoid like the plague late half order missing and awful customer service !!!!!

Use to be a regular here but over the last year it has gone downhill sadly the owner has been rude to me on multiple occasions after getting my delivery order wrong he told me to bring it back to him and stated that if I don’t then no refund, the chips come super greasy and under cooked it was a total shambles, such a shame as in work we use to order here every Friday but we no use Lisa kitchen around the corner !!

I fell across this place completely by accident and had an excellent lunch. It is directly across the way from the newly refurbished indoor market and it’s extensive food court, but if you want a proper meal at very good prices - this place would be hard to beat based on my experience today. Portions are substantial and the food came out quickly and piping hot. I will definitely come back and try breakfast some time.

Really nice bacon, eggs, beans, hash browns and toast. Only thing that let it down was the cheap sausages. That and immediately the driver "Disappearing" on the tracking as soon as he set off. Fast service, Breakfast was good however. It filled a void. Better sausages would probably make me re-order. I couldn't fault the portion sizes either. Good sausages make a good breakfast.

Small but spotless, friendly staff. Great menu reasonable prices. Coffee is amazing. ¼lb burger is far superior to what the large chain outlets offer. Good place to wait relax and have a snack while waiting for a bus, as it's alongside the Bus Terminal
