Lovely to to be sitting back in here! first day of opening looks lovely and staff are friendly

I visited the Coffee Lounge whilst doing a bit of business in Havant. I would say the price was a bit on the expensive side, but the service was excellent, and so was the coffee. I would buy from here again.

Excellent coffee shop in Havant

Staff not using tongs or wearing gloves. Hair not tied back or restrained. Male staff member continually brushing his hair away from face and pulling it up,no washing his hands but continued to touch cups and food. Obviously no heath and hygiene being practiced

The best cappuccino I have had in years… lovely service, welcoming atmosphere and excellent vibe!

Love coming here in person and great service at home too! Everything well packaged and as always wonderful quality.

They have delivered the wrong food I am vegetarian and it has ham in it

The lady who served me was very nice, polite and friendly. Overall the place has quite a nice atmosphere, but sadly I found the coffee very bitter and the blueberry croissant quite stodgy, like it wasn't quite cooked enough, although it looked it.

Working locally and found by accident, I like a good coffee and I've been in 6 time's this week. That alone say's it all 👍

What a delight. Open every day, even on Sundays when most places are shut until 10am. Dog friendly. Smooth jazz, nice coffee (good non dairy options too) and spacious. I love it!

Love this place , so friendly , brilliant Gluten Free choices , great prices ....support this local business and take a break from Costa

Such a lovely place and all the staff are always so friendly and welcoming to any of the customers dogs. Always go for a few visits on a Saturday with my dad for a good coffee, chat and to smooth some dogs!

Nice cafe, hot chocolate was lovely 😍

Must have caught them on a bad day. Service was unfriendly and sullen. We waited ages to be served and then felt like we were a burden to be served, no smiles, no eye contact. Coffee was poor, had a flat white but it really tasted like hot milk, very little coffee flavour. We won't be back.

I like this place & you can pop in alone & not feel out of place. Standard coffee shop food, cakes, muffins etc + savory items too. The young staff do not seem to be automatically wiping tables when people leave, I asked for mine to be wiped. It is such an easy thing to do regularly & makes incoming customers feel better, I am sure. When I was sitting there, the staff definitely had time to do so. Plenty of room for dogs.

Lovely coffee shop, great service, amazing friendly staff , great tasty coffee with flavour, good prices, free wifi , great variety on the menu !Not to mention it is dog friendly aswell and that is amazing !Not many places are nowadays.A 5 star place in my opinion and my friends opinion!

We love it here!! Coffee lounge has a wonderful selection of food and drinks, the perfect independent cafe in Havant. As regulars, we love the bubbly atmosphere and friendly service. Thank you to the Sam the owner for creating really welcoming environment for college students and a lovely place to spend lunch time with friends or revise with a warm cup of coffee! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Always excellent service from Sam and team. Really well presented independent cafe with a nice vibe . The cappucino is spot on and the lotus biscoff is a nice touch. The Coffee Lounge in Havant is well worth a visit !

Decaf black Americano tasted less like coffee and more bland with a horrible citrus after taste 4 sugars still didn’t take the taste away plus black coffee Suppose to look black or dark but this one looked like it had a light brown/yellowy tinge The cappuccino tasted like dishwater Not a great experience Not going here again

Was excited for this place when it first reopened after Neros closed. The service is always friendly and there is plenty of seating but unfortunately the quality of the coffee isn’t great and hasn’t improved over the years since it opened. There are better options in Havant for good independent coffee these days.

Nice, calm atmosphere. Really friendly and helpful staff. The food was lush (coronation chicken panini)

One of the very few places that always have a small selection on gluten free goodies.. which are always stored and displayed separately from non-gluten free... would love to see more options available though! The service is always friendly, warm and welcoming!

Great little independent coffee shop. They produce great coffee and very dog friendly. We go every Sunday morning and its such a nice way to start the day plus they always bring my dog a treat.

Sadly. I can't recommend this place anymore. It's a strange cafe. Run by Eastern block folk who, for whatever reason, prefer there customers to be Ederly /disabled. I've noticed they have an unhelpfully, disrespectfull, dissapointing attitude to any single folk. Particularly men. I've allways been polite to the staff there. But where I'm a Buddhist, and meditate in there regularly. They don't like it. Old folk, with dogs OK. Anyone educated, cultured, they have an attitude. And they claim to be a COMMUNITY cafe.. Bizzare, sad. Shame really. It was so nice as a coffee shop before they took over. I recommend others nearby. Markedly more warm, inviting, friendly. Not rude, patronising or cold.

That is the coffee which I really like. I order today for the first time and for sure it's not gonna be the last,I was really surprised 😯. Perfect taste 🤤

At last….a cafe that knows how to make an iced coffee (frappe latte) as we do in Australia!!! And the Bakewell tart is yummy too. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly, efficient staff. A big plus for Havant. In my teenage years there was a Coffee Lounge in Market Parade near the station where I used to hang out with my friends on a Saturday afternoon ….where I first tasted “frothy coffee” now called cappuccino. Great memories.

Lovely atmosphere, well worth the amount we are all paying for coffee these days. No takeaway waiting or conveyor belt counter service - just a nicely paced welcome. Thankyou.

Great independent coffee shop in Havant town centre. Quality of coffee is better than in chains. You sit down and coffee is brought to you. There are plenty of tables inside and some outside too. The owners are often in the coffee shop and are very friendly.

Took over 100 minutes to get here and when it did it was freezing cold!

Kids had hot chocolate and the cake selection was amazing. Very good range of coffee. Now have sausage rolls as well as cakes

Adorable little coffee shop, friendly service (they bring your order to your table, always with a smile!). Lovely calm music that you'd expect in a stereotypical coffee shop. Reasonably priced coffee too, and you get a big cup of it. A range of alternative milk available. Wouldn't change a thing about this place.

Dog friendly and student friendly cafe with great coffee and really polite staff! Me and my boyfriend visit almost every week and much prefer it over costa because of the personalised experience and pretty decor!

Excellent espresso, pastries, hot chocolate, location, and ambiance. This coffee shop is indeed a great place to kill your time, do business, and to study as well. The coffees and hot chocolates they had was so delicious. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. The place was so cozy. The decorations were so cute.

I love this little gem of a coffee shop! I come here often, 2 to 3 times a week. Sometimes just me & my dog, sometimes with my children, grandchildren & foster children. We all receive a warm, friendly & very welcoming reception from April. This is the customer service that is badly needed today. April delivers trays to the table if my hands are full, she's always ready to chat when she can. Today I learn that things are changing. I personally am gutted, as I think are many Coffee Lounge regulars! April 'IS' the Coffee Lounge! She's a great assett to any business in my humble opinion. Not sure I'll be in much now! It's the personal touch that matters I think. It would have been 5 ⭐️from me if things weren't changing😥

Came across this coffee shop by chance. Very nice and pleasant staff. Lots of snacks to choose from. Crisps, croissants, cakes, cereal bars etc. A good range of hot drinks. They also do iced drinks, smoothies and milkshakes. Clean and tidy shop with lots of seating. Dogs are also welcome indoors. They even do dog icecream! Prices reasonable too. It is situated across the road from St.Faiths's Church. Will definitely go back! 👍🏻

Went there Saturday, not impressed, service very slow, staff didn't seem to interested, unco ordinated, had a mocca, nice but not very hot, might try again, went a week earlier, was much better,....

Lovely hot coffee, politely served to me at my table, not to busy when I went at about 11:10am so it was quiet which is what I like. Also looks like it's a dog friendly place.

Went there today ordered cappuccino and hot chocolate. Coffee fine, however Hot chocolate was badly served. We didn't want marshmallow but only cream. She produced the Hot choc. and said she had run out of cream in the can. She then said there was some out the back, but couldn't be bothered to go out back to get any and so we had only minimum cream. What happened to cuatomer service theses days. Poor service, can see them lasting that long with that sort of attitude.

Great atmosphere, delicious coffee, huge range of hot and cold drinks. Paninis made fresh daily, as well as freshly baked croissants, heaven. Oh and the cakes ...! It is also dog friendly, people friendly and consistently welcoming. A proper independent coffee shop.

Sat outside in the warm spring sunshine and enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee. Really tasty and full of flavour. Good value for money too. Two coffees and a cheese and ham pinani for less than a tenner. Not my last visit.

Coffee shop on the edge of the shopping area in Havant. Good tea & coffee served with a limited range of cakes etc. Good value, clean toilets (always a bonus) and nice staff.

I absolutely love this place, the coffee is so good with a selection of cakes and biscuits to go with them. The place is always clean the staff friendly, I'd rather go here than to any other coffee places.

We'll always miss Nero's, that will be a hard act to follow, but Coffee Lounge is looking good so far. We often go now, they start making our coffee as soon as we walk in and bring it to our table.

I am a regular at the coffee lounge and often bring my children. The staff are always so friendly and it’s clean and spacious! Enough room for my pram and the have eaten the best cheese cake of my life!! Thoroughly enjoy every visit!

£4.50 for a milkshake! It was tiny. Meant to be chic chip but honestly just tasted like a Yazoo. Staff are friendly.

I came all the way from London to visit some lovely friends in Havant. We met at this amazing coffee shop. I had breakfast and coffee. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious, nice coffee. The place is inviting and clean, the staff is very friendly, helpful. We had a lovely time, thank you. I will definitely come back.

Staff unfriendly. No welcome, no smiles. Coffee only so so. I will try it again soon but if not improved wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They have a great location so they need to make in special. Much more effort and professionalism needed.

Came here today for a catch-up with my sister’s. Lovely friendly coffee bar. Will definitely come again. They do a loyalty card too which gives you 2 stamps if you bring your own cup. I ended up with 6 stamps !! Free coffee coming to me 😀😀

Coffee not very hot, pan au raisin not heated as requested, smaller than normal cookie but not cheap.

Had chocolate fudge cake today. Sent it back as it was so dried up and hard. Gave me another piece only slightly improved. Would not go again.

Lovely little independent coffee shop. Great tasting coffee and hot chocolate, plus we also tried a raspberry and white choc muffin...it was big enough to share and tasted great. Give them a try, we'll worth it.
