Went to my best friend's husbands wake , the Heron staff did an absolutely great job, kids are innocent and don't understand and we're running around playing n the staff were great with them. I'd highly recommend this place for any occasion

visited the heron for a meal and a few drinks with my partner. Chloe and Paige and Kadie was welcoming and friendly, didn’t have a long wait for food and when it arrived was hot and cooked well, value for money. Will definitely recommend to my family and friends, will be visiting again soon.

It's our local visit most weekends, landlady and all her staff are outstanding with their service, polite and very welcoming and helpful. The presentation and the standered of food is very good, great value. The sports app is good thing to have I'd you want 10% off drinks or chances to win download the sorta app

Never disappoints this place! Staff always helpful and friendly Harlee this time stood out for us, breakfast is amazing, hot and great values for money! And a separate side for people drinking and dining! We will definitely be back

Went for the buy one get one free breakfast in the morning for £4.80, sat in the no kids section just so it was a little more quiet, the breakfast took 40 minutes to arrive at the table, it was cold when it did finally come. It doesn't come with toast so we added 3 bits to the order which was 1 POUND EACH! for 3 very smalls bits of bread and a extra egg was 79p! So all together we paid 9 pound something for the breakfast. I guess you get what you pay for because it was cold, the hashbrowns were NOT cooked properly, it was just overall extremely poor. Won't be going back there again. The couple behind us at the table were complaining about the food too and didn't receive their cup of tea they ordered with their breakfast until they had finished their breakfast. I'd give zero stars for the food if that was an option.

Very busy , but the food was amazing and the lady called Emily worked her butt off , she was so lovely and helpful . Couldn't fault the food or the workers.

Our server Owen was so polite and gave us out food at a very quick pace. He also kept making sure that we were enjoying our meal which i really liked because you dont see that a lot nowaday at pubs.

Had a server called Marie and she was utterly perfect in every way, nothing seemed to hard for her either with us being a demanding table. Great with the children also.

Had a lovely meal out tonight…… our server Emily was lovely and was very helpful, will return just for the service of Emily again. The girl behind the bar Kaylee was very nice and listened well when we placed a large order.

If you want a meal that has no taste, snotty eggs, cold in the middle hash browns, a curry that doesn't taste like chicken and dry, a sizzling plate that comes out not sizzling! And only 3 of the 4 meals turned up at once and waited 5 minutes for the last meal! Tbh this was quite quick, have had to wait longer in the past , You're at the right place do yourself a favour and go somewhere else ,spend your cash wisely people...I will have to be forced to eat in there again!
