Had an amazing Christmas dinner and it was totally awesome was blown away by the whole experience thank you so much from the Searl family

Went to the Heron today for our family Christmas meal. There are about 30 of us & Rachel ,kirstie & Owen coped really well. We didn’t have to wait around for food or drinks. They were polite & friendly & nothing was a problem. Would recommend.

Lovely staff especially Charley, food amazing Christmas Breakfast with Santa! He was awesome and food was delicious, service great from all the team, brilliant value for money!

We love the Heron and Yvonne and the team are so friendly and welcoming, we love the daily deals that you do as it makes it more affordable with a growing family. We look forward to coming back as soon as we are allowed.

I recently visited for food and drinks, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, great atmosphere and lovely food. The food and drinks arrived quickly and was good quality, I had an issue with one of my meals and it was quickly rectified by a member of staff, didn't get her name as she didn't have a name badge like the others working, but she was lovely and apologetic for the mistake. When we got our recooked meal, she came over a few minutes later to make sure everything was okay this time. You don't get that at many other places. I will be visiting again soon, your staff are wonderful and clearly care about the customers experience. Thank you. Edit**** Have been back since and received the most attentive and pleasant service from a lovely, well trained and friendly server named marie. Service makes the experience easy and enjoyable, making revisiting a no brainer!

Came for a christmas meal with friends was absolutely gorgeous hot tasty brilliant price and staff were all in good spirits singing happy birthday to lots of groups in the pub

Disappointed with the Heron. The food was tepid and too well done. There was no coffee available either. Such a shame and so different from our previous visit.

Xmas lunch here today. My gluten free nut roast was more of a veg tart, the only nuts I found was a sprinkling of pine nuts on the top of a crispy pastry tart filled with veg and slightly spicy gravy and a sprinkling of sunflower seeds pumpkin seeds and approx 6 pine nut kernals. Most disappointing. Those who ordered traditional turkey were served thick glupy lumpy gravy I have never seen the like of before.

Have a visibly mentally ill, non-help accepting, suicidal upon drinking a lot family member currently drinking in this pub. When her daughter went in to explain this and ask the lady attending to her to not serve her, she was declined. Whilst legally not obliged to, this shows a lack of care and concern to the wellbeing of patrons as long as they're purchasing. Morally bankrupt clowns.

We had lunch there. Great service and the food was delicious and good size portions. I had the burger sizzler combo which was yummy. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. Great price . The only minor negative was that the knife I got given was dirty. Overall we all enjoyed our food

Recently came to the heron for food and drinks and had a lovely evening, we were served by a boy called Ryan who really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed whilst being so friendly . Everyone in our group praised his attentiveness and just general enthusiasm, will definitely be back.

Food excellent with great service. Owen in particular was very friendly and had a natural way of connection with customers.

It’s my first time in Havant and tbh, I wasn’t having a good day… until the beautiful bare faced Ryan rock-ed up at our table with his silky soft chin and my made my day. Overall experience was a 10/10 (especially bc of rocky Ryan) Ps only thing lacking was some facial hair

Came into the heron for a couple pints and had the best service from Kaylee behind the bar and Santa was a great laugh loved every minute will definitely be coming back

Worst Sunday lunch ever burnt tough meat,cold veg not enough gravy and stodge mash,staff do their best but frankly I would find another chef as he clearly doesn't care what he sends out

Just wants too give a quick feed back on my experience at the heron pub this evening, I popped in about half 7pm , grasping for a cup off tea , I was standing at the bar for about 30 secs , then I was served by I belive her name is Ash, she asked me if I was eating , only thing I wanted was a cup off tea and a fag under the hot lamps which the heron does provide a lovely and cosy smoking area , back too the subject ash made me feel welcome , told me if I need any assistance too give her a shout...the tea was lovely and hot!!!! In my experience off pubbing over the years.i have realised it's hard too find a decent pub that makes decent teas with decent staff and decent smoking areas , I shall be back in the future for a another visit, I wish I could give ash more then 5 stars , but unfortunately I can't!!!!
