My mum and I popped in late July. Had a lovely milky coffee (trad caff order!) and we shared a few fresh pastries. Staff were polite and helpful and gave us a bag to take home what pastries we couldn't finish.

Apareció para descansar y tomar una cerveza. Me sorprendió gratamente la buena taza de té que disfruté. Algunos lugares pasan por alto el valor de una buena taza de té fuerte, pero este lugar dio en el clavo. Puntos extra de brownie por el brownie que tenía. La señorita de la caja también fue muy amable y educada. ¡Excelente servicio!

A menudo visto tirar limpiador químico para pisos en el árbol afuera. ¡No es para clientes con mentalidad ESG! La comida no es ofensiva, pero los pasteles podrían ser un poco más frescos.

He sido un habitual desde que empecé la universidad, ¡y el personal siempre ha sido miserable! También trabajo en la hospitalidad y encuentro que ese comportamiento es inaceptable, ¡incluso más cuando tienes tantos clientes habituales y nunca das ni una sonrisa! El último día que estuve aquí (y el último, ya que no volveré), pedí un sándwich de escalope de pollo para comer durante mi descanso, y después de 20 minutos la camarera viene a decirme que vendió yo un producto que se agotó! Pedí un sándwich diferente (atún, que la mezcla ya está preparada, así que no tuve que esperar más) y después de 15 minutos más tengo que pedir mi sándwich nuevamente. Yo era el único cliente en la cafetería, así que no podía entender por qué me estaba tomando tanto tiempo. Pregunto de nuevo ya que mi descanso fue de 30 minutos y tuve que regresar a Uni, y encontré a la camarera enviándome mensajes por teléfono y rodé los ojos cuando su colega le pidió que hiciera el emparedado. Luego, después de esperar más de 30 minutos para un sándwich y llegar tarde a mi clase, ¡todavía me preguntó si lo iba a tener o llevar! ! Como reírse de eso. . . Como ella sabía, tenía prisa. . . . ¡Muy mal! Por cierto, nadie me ofreció un reembolso del precio diferente entre el sándwich de pollo y el atún. Muy mala experiencia (tuve muchos en este lugar, ¡pero este no me hizo volver!). Por cierto, si tienes alergia, ¡olvídate de venir aquí ya que no les importa! No lo recomendaré a ninguno de mis compañeros de clase. Si esos tipos son los dueños del lugar, ¡buena suerte para mantener el negocio! Si no, esto va para el propietario, ¡hazte un favor y deshazte de ese personal! Hay muchas personas que necesitan un trabajo y pueden hacerlo mucho mejor de lo que obtuviste.

I always come here as a student studying close by and the staff are so rude to me even as a regular. Terrible if you have allergies too as I ask what’s in stuff and they Weill just shrug their shoulders and say “it’s good just try it”. Also charge extra for soy milk so a basic small soy late is £2.80 and the coffee is just shop bought instant coffee. I ordered a sandwich with no cucumber on and the lady stormed off with it, picked the cucumber off and slammed it back down in front of me. Really is just terrible in here and I keep thinking maybe I’ve caught them if a bad day but it’s always the same.

I love the Coffee Kitchen. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the coffee and food are great I don't however like the new layout and how the seating has been arranged. The power outlets are covered up and I feel it is less intimate that before. Andy

I was there today with my family. The staff were rude and not serving but joking around. We decided to leave, then the staff was shouting at us saying "who cares if they leave" I work in a service industry as well and I was shocked with the service I've received. I was expecting better

A nice place where you can eat English breakfast in good price. The coffee was also delicious. The only negative (maybe it happened that morning) was that the personnel (2 persons) quarreled and the breakfast was served with delay...

I have been to Coffee Kitchen a number of times and really like their loyalty card system. It makes me feel like I am part of one big, happy family. Only minor criticism is they keep forgetting I run my own business. Given I work in marketing that is a mistake as I want to help. I haven't tried the food but the Macchiato is great! stephen@stephenhoffman.co.uk

Had a nice coffee here but twice I have visited now and there is just no customer recognition. I am aware the staff might be busy, but a “Hi, one moment please” goes a long way. For a relative new place I thought this would be something they might focus on.

This place is a beacon of great coffee and great value, delicious, fresh food. It's our new local coffee shop, very kid-friendly and with fantastic staff. They've just nailed every aspect of it.

Went with my friend which doesn't speak much English, he ordered 2 coffees and gave £10 to barista. They realised that my friend doesn't have a very good level of English and thought he was just a tourist so they gave him back 1,80£. 8,20£ for 2 coffes?? Unfortunately my friend knows how to count (at least) nobody noticed that we were together, as i was outside on my phone. I asked them for the receipt and what a awkward moment when the staff members realised that I have understood what happened. We got our change back and left! Very sad coz the place is not bad.

Great cosy atmosphere. Ambient lighting, friendly staff. Coffee was very good. Only could be better with soft seating,like sofas with cushions. But defo good as it is anyways.

I received a very bad ramen, only filled with salted water. No taste whatsoever. we ordered california sushi and there was no salmon in them. Poor quality and waste of money. i will never come back.

Criticise Starbucks all you like but serving a decent cup of coffee is the one thing that they do well - loads better than Costa amongst others. The only better one is Roasting Plant Coffee in the Strand but then that place is several rungs up the ladder

Fui con mi familia al restaurante et voila en Kings Cross La mesa estaba sucia, entonces tenemos que cambiar la mesa, pero todos iguales Pedimos nuestra comida La comida llegó después. Llevamos más de 45 minutos esperando La comida no era fresca Sabor poco divertido La sopa estaba congelada en el medio, así como la comida congelada. El chef no estaba limpio Realmente no estoy satisfecho No volver

I’m a regular here and usually like this location. The staff are mostly friendly and it has a cozy vibe. You can sit by the window and overlook Finchley Road. Unfortunately today I had a bad experience with Georgia who was training new baristas. I scanned my Nero app to pay and was shown on my app that the payment went through. Apparently it hadn’t gone through on the till so Georgia made me show her proof of payment on my app and on my credit card statement but then argued with me that the payment was shown as pending in my Amex app, which it always is as it takes a few days for the merchant to claim the transaction. When I said that I wasn’t willing to swipe my card again and be charged double she made a rather rude comment “the payment hasn’t gone through on our end, so you’ll just walk away with a free coffee” and insisted I swipe my app again. She did give me a receipt noting that if I was indeed charged twice they would give me a refund on my next visit, however I am rather disappointed by customer service. You would think that staff would care less about a potentially free £3.55 coffee than losing a regular customer. I will not be a regular anymore at this location.
