A wonderful little cafe. We regularly use the downstairs play area so we can relax and enjoy their amazing Biscoff Lattes while our children play. Great service, great coffee and great food.

I’ve been a few times to this cafe & keep hoping it will improve. The service is slow & my poached eggs were over cooked. The cake I had afterwards was dry. I will only go here again as a last resort.

Went in for a quick lunch, but busy and had to wait. Understood this. Food tasty. However very worried about food such as filled croissants and Hot buns left on show on a counter. Uncovered and placed just where customers place their order. Hence these “. goodies” are covered with germs from people talking, coughing and sneezing above them.

We had lunch and drinks. We sat downstairs, there are children's toys, which is great and meant the children were entertained for a while. The coffee was very good. However it took one hour for our sandwiches to come. Staff were apologetic and explained the machine for grilling was broken. It was a bit tricky entertaining a hungry toddler. Upstairs has been refurbished recently and is definitely clean. It looks great. I feel like downstairs needs a bit of TLC and could definitely be cleaner. I'll probably stick to coffee and cake next time, as I don't want to wait an hour for lunch again. The coffee and cake are excellent and this experience won't put me off completely as the cafe is local to me and there have been many positive changes to the cafe recently.

Jenny and I found this when looking for a takeaway coffee before a walk up to Porter Clough from Forge Dam - where the lovely cafe was hugely busy with a long queue for takeaways. It worked out well - we walked back up to the Coffee Rooms and had a couple of delicious large takeaway cappuccino's made by the very friendly owner. Jenny had been here before, pre lockdown, when you could still sit down outside. This time it was strictly takeaway only, but the menu was still on the wall and I want to come back when they're properly open again - lots of delicious and mouthwatering things available! Meanwhile you can see they're working really hard to sanitise all surfaces regularly and to maintain social distancing for customers: it felt very safe, and as welcoming as any coffee shop can be in these strange times. Really hope lots of people will keep coming here - we need to support our local businesses.

No one is enforcing people wearing masks when entering / ordering or moving about the cafe without masks. It genuinely a FREE FOR ALL. Yes there are signs but that’s not good if not being enforced. No one is doing anything to enforce track and trace either manually or electronically. Yes there’s a QR code on the inside of the front door / side window and tables and staff are wearing face shields but that’s not good enough as nothing being done proactively. Yes the food is great and yes the staff are very professional but come on for goodness sake you have a load of seniors in the cafe so protect them and have some respect for them if nothing else. Extremely disappointed as I expected more from you !

Giving this five stars as I really enjoyed my lunch today and I got exactly what I wanted for what I paid. I also really want it to succeed as it’s exactly what the area needs. I had a full English breakfast and my partner had a nice omelette. Both were very good and the price was very reasonable compared to Ecclesall rd prices. The latte was piping hot which is great, nothing worse than luke warm coffee. The hot chocolates have nice toppings, lots of variety for kids and big kids (adults) alike. Also lots of nice looking smoothies which will be lovely in summer. Few things I think would make it better. We ate with the previous customers cutlery etc on the table. We slid them to the end when we sat down and they never left. No major issue but I’d like them to have been cleared. Secondly it was hard to work out if any tables were free when we arrived. Someone greeting people on the way in to point out a table would be helpful. Drinks could have been slightly faster to arrive. None of these detracted from a very nice lunch and only minor points to really nail it on for me. Really lovely little cafe in an area desperate for one. Nice simple menu at reasonable prices with great drink selection. Once they become established I think it will only get better. We will be visiting regularly.

Nice little cafe in Fulwood village. Basic menu, but quality food, nicely presented and tasty, clean, well laid out. Only downside Is that it is very noisy with customers chatting at the tops of their voices you can hardly hear yourself think. The other downside is that although there is a separate room for children and parents downstairs, it’s not easily noticeable. Or perhaps it should be pointed out to them when they bring their little darlings in). Or it might be an idea to move the adults downstairs and leave the mothers, babies and prams upstairs!

This place has turned into an absolute joke. The queue times are ridiculous and half the time there is only 2 people on, one taking orders and one making the drinks. Now they have changed their opening times and if you are seeing a movie after 7.30 you can't get a coffee now. We used to persevere because we like the coffee however the final nail in the coffin was the price increase! £7 for a venti cold brew! £7! however if you drive to meadowhall just around the corner you can have the same drink for £5.75! It's an absolute rip off! We will no longer be going!
