The service was great from the guys at the door to the bar ladies who were so helpful and friendly to the DJ you guys were amazing 👌👌

Asked to sing on the karaoke but he keeps the same “favouries” every week so got turned away! Be ok if ant were actually any good! Same s**t every week!!

Great pub. Lots of old character, the staff were really friendly, as were the locals. Plenty of beer choice. Added to that there is plenty to do with pool, snooker and darts. Nothing to complain about at all.

The pub was okay, not so the draught beer. Tried two, both not nice.

One of the best pub environments ive ever been in. The people are friendly, the pub is spacious, got a great outside area. The staff and manager where so friendly i cant wait to go back again! They have a great selection of rums too! My christmas list sorted

My new local friendly people in there nice drinks, entertainment for everyone including children. Beer garden at front and back. You name it they got it.

Friendly landlord and landlady, good staff,also plenty of things to do , pool , snooker, karaoke and rock nights. Definitely worth a visit

Kevin and Dianne are wonderful hosts. Great measures in place to follow covid guidelines and the rest of the staff were really accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.

I do not recommend this place Everything is average, from the quality of the room to the unfriendliness of the staff. For the same price, i suggest you go to travelodge or premier inn, or even airbnb, yiu will get a much better quality accommodation

In the past this place was a bit of a dive but on a quiet Sunday afternoon we thought we'd try it out to see if things had changed, post Covid. People seemed to be distancing but that could be down to it being nearly empty and at least it had some sanitiser in various places. The barmaid was friendly but we only stopped for 1 because it was just all a bit bland and "not bothered". Not as bad as it was (on this occasion) but still along way to go before it catches up to the other pubs in the area.

Debido a que muchos de los otros pubs de la zona estaban cerrados, decidí visitar el pub Red Lion para celebrar la reapertura de pubs en Inglaterra. Después de leer la guía del gobierno sobre el distanciamiento social y las medidas implementadas, me sentí seguro de que estaría a salvo. Bueno, ¡qué terriblemente equivocado estaba! ! A su llegada, quedó claro que este pub y su gerencia sienten que no necesitan seguir las nuevas regulaciones. Había una pequeña estación de saneamiento que era absolutamente inútil al ver la carnicería al entrar. Sin distanciamiento social, gente ordenando en el bar con un camarero de aspecto bastante abrumado que no tenía absolutamente ninguna posibilidad de controlar la situación. Mi esposa y yo compramos una bebida cada uno y luego nos fuimos. . ¡Incluso las bebidas tenían un sabor horrible! ! ¿La gerencia se molestó siquiera en limpiar las líneas o pensaron que no nos daríamos cuenta? . . . Prácticas vergonzosas e inseguras, simplemente desesperado por ganar dinero sin tener en cuenta el personal o la seguridad pública.

He estado en muchas ocasiones para hablar con el propietario el primer día que volvieron a abrir para preguntarle si iba a cumplir con mi reserva, él respondió que no había problema, se lo había dejado un mes antes de mi reserva para decirle que no podemos tener su cumpleaños porque reservé una banda cuando estaba completamente nuevo, así que tuve una reserva ese día, fue una desgracia no mencionar a Dam Right Rude. Debo haber estado 6 veces para comprobar que todo estaba bien, todo hasta el menú y mirar el salón de actos cada vez que había hablado conmigo fue grosero y desagradable, como cuando estaba hablando del menú del bufé, él habla con el personal sobre charla ociosa. Eso es lo que él llama servicio al cliente porque no aprecio cómo lo había manejado, no lo hizo. Incluso tenga la cortesía de hablarme en persona. Usted tuvo que pedirle a otra persona que me lo dijera. mi pregunta es por qué me fastidiaría si él no quisiera honrarlo, debería haberlo dicho cuando entré en el pub para hablarle varias veces. What a lovely pub with a great selection of drinks the beer was lovely and good prices considering its Sheffield. There was a DJ on playing really great music think his name was Rob. Will definitely be visiting here again really nice place.

Been meaning to go to the red lion for a Sunday lunch for a while & today we did & oh my word amazing I had beef that melted in your mouth & my husband had pork & lamb all home made fresh veg & roasties 4 Yorkshire puddings will be returning for another in a couple of weeks 👍.

This is a great pub, very friendly and welcoming, just like a proper local should be. Good choice of tasty, home cooked food, the homemade meat and potato pie is delicious, and as for the homemade chips, a lovely treat and so much better than the usual frozen variety served in most establishments. All very reasonably priced too, and never had a bad meal here yet. Nice selection of drinks, both draught and bottled, usually including 2 or 3 cask ales, and good value house doubles too! There is also a large function room available which was a great venue when I had my birthday party there, buffet food provided was plentiful, excellent and very good value for money. Good sized beer garden which when the sun is shining is a glorious little suntrap. All in all a great pub, just how a local should be, friendly staff and a welcoming feel, wish there were more pubs like this
