In desperate need of a coffee this morning we were delighted to spot "Coffee Express". A sign said "open" another "9.00 - 5.00". Brill. However, stumbling into the dark cavernous interior there was little sign of life. Calling hello numerous times brought a pleasant enough girl to the till "haven't opened in here yet... Do you want me too?". At this point not wishing to draw the young lady away from the children in the back room or apparently inconvenience her, I muttered "No" and we shuffled back to the car and drove on to Shrewsbury in search of a happy hello and a welcome cup of coffee.

Coffee - Terrible Food - Terrible Staff - Terrible. Overall, you guessed it, terrible. The only positive is the building looks lovely, its just a shame that such a shambles of a company runs it. I would strongly recommend visiting one of the many other coffee shops in Oswestry.

Turned up one wet afternoon for a snack lunch and a coffee. We were the only people in a cold vast room. There were about five staff all wandering around showing very little interest. We ordered coffees and paninis. When the coffee came it was clear the ground coffee was stale and had that "damp" taste about it. It was served in a mug with all the coffee running down the outside. We had to ask for sugar, which eventually came; we then had to ask for spoons to stir it, eventually one came for us to share. The waitress was surprised that we might want more than one and rather begrudgingly went off to get another one. After 25 minutes no food had appeared so we asked a youth in a leather jacket playing on his phone if he worked there as all the staff had disappeared into the kitchen. He said he did and we asked him to find out where our food was. He disappeared into the kitchen and a waitress came out, said that the other waitress had forgotten to take our order into the kitchen and had then gone home!! We then requested a refund and left. It was so bad it was funny but we'll never return. We were the only customers they had so it wasn't as if they were rushed off their feet. Unless you have a good sense of humour don't bother!

We went into the Wacky Warehouse on a sunny day with the family, and we were served by Ella who was very polite and welcoming, after we went for some food and drinks in the restaurant where Vikki and Kelly served us, amazing service and was great with our younger children. Lovely atmosphere and staff, we will definitely be returning.

Played it safe with a bacon sandwich, noting that the staff were making a concerted effort to create a new strain of Covid-19 in the kitchen which is open to everyone to view. The bacon sandwich itself was credible. I would liken the vibe of the place to a games arcade placed in a waning seaside town with a severe crack problem.

We were recommended this cafe and we weren’t disappointed. My husband and I had the ‘Chocks Away’ full English and as the delivery guy hadn’t been yet we had home made hash browns which were fabulous, and the eggs were double yolkers. Our friends had scrambled eggs on toast and had mounds! Highly recommend this place and the view was great.
