Even though it was raining. the food arrived 5 mins earlier than the estimated time. Nicely packed and still hot. Large fish portions and plenty of chips.

The fish itself is good quality the oil is clean however the chips are very very bad and the fish batter is so thick no crispy and light. We are very disappointed as this place had been recommended a while back so we thought we would try it. This is not fish and chips. I’m sorry to have to write such damming review but I’m enraged really. Some people may like this type.

Don't give you what you asked for.

Delivery was late. Food was cold and and item was missing (curry sauce). Overall it’s unbelievable that a driver can get lost.

Highly Recommend! Not sure if this business has been taken over under a new management, but didn’t see the owner nor his photos on the wall… Used to be my local fish & chip shop returned and got a large chips, 2 battered sausage, beans and mushy peas! Very nice indeed!! Only down side was the batter was a bit excessive and sloppy not that crisp but it was the end of the day and I guess everyone wanted to get home!! Will return, great value for money!

Ordered delivery - I must say that the quality was exceptional. Very tasty and would buy again. Chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - not all squishy. Cod was flakes and the batter held up. Thanks!

Must be under new management, chips refried to being oily and slightly burnt, chaos as the counter staff clearly never worked in a chippy, lots of people waiting. Why on earth would you buy a business and deliver a sub-standard where there are two main items Fish and Chips. I will never visit this place again.

ve bought fish and chips from many shops before. The fish I bought yesterday was the best fish I have ever eaten. I really like and feel happy when I see tradesmen like you. Chips were on point but did not enjoy the cod fish. I was expecting a crispy battered fish instead it fell like the fish came from the frozen section of Iceland.

The fish had no taste, the crust was moist, the fries that I ordered with salt and vinegar had no salt and vinegar, only 2 fries, in the first fry I only tasted the vinegar then from the second one I only tasted the salt, the rest of the fries had no taste and they were too oily as well as the fish and the battered sausage was way too oily as well.

delivery was good but food was awful and cold. phoned resturaunt who did not seem to care.thet said come to the shop .i am a pensioner and cant get there i know its not jist eats fault first te ive complained i think. but it was awful sorry Richard.

It might have helped had there been salt & vinegar on the chips, they were reheats so maybe not ! The Chicken was dry.

First time I have been to this fish and chips takeaway. Just realised it's closer and much easier to park than my usual place. I had hoped that this would be the first of many visits. The chips were delicious and the homemade tartar sauce was the best to date but the batter was not cooked (see photo), so won't be returning for fish and chips sadly. The manager did ask me to reach out by email which I did...but I didn't hear back.

Would easy give 5 starts but then would you believe me? The tastiest in town, truly amazing and arrived so hit straight to my door

codfather this morning. I had dinner at the fish and it was great. Those who truly taste can truly understand the taste of fish. I already recommend it to everyone I will come again and recommend this place to my friends.

This is first time I have not enjoyed fish and chips the chips were full of black eyes and the fish was just awful. Sorry won't use again.

Had Cod & chips delivered via Uber Eats. Was superb, still crispy & hot. Our favourite local chippy. Never disappoints. Very generous portion, as I ordered a small portion of fish & chips too! Staff always friendly. Highly recommend them. 💯

Not as good as before. Everything lately has had something wrong. Last order of cod bites seemed like battered batter as there was only traces of fish. Sausage and batter meat was 2 different colours inside so went to the dogs.

If I could give 0 I would. Placed an ordered, as a regular customer, even though they highly inflate their prices for delivery. Waited 20 minutes only for the order to state delivered but nothing showed up at my house. Phoned the restaurant who were nothing but rude and refused to help. Will never use them again and would highly advise anyone else not too. Completely gone down hill in the last 6 months.

The cod father is the best place to have fish and chips as you will get amazing and delicious test of it. I’m personally having experience and it was amazing . 100% preferred place to order your fish and chips and also they have another dishes as well.

Cod Fathers is my only go to place when wanting quality fish and chips. Fish is cooked fresh and to order, chips lovely and chunky. Staff are always polite and friendly. I think they are the best fish and chips in Greenford/Northolt area. 10/10 for food, service and cleanlines👌👍

When this place first opened the standard was high. Both service and quality of food was exceptional. Still very good bit slipped ever so slightly. That warmth and friendliness is what set you apart so please maintain. Similarly the food was top quality.The value for money is excellent. Chips used to be outstanding being cooked in ground nut oil. Not sure if same cooking process used as don't taste as good as they used to. Overall still a very very decent chippie. You set the bar high at the start and that's all.im measuring against .if you measure against other chippies this place it really decent. Thankyou guys
