Andy's Quality Fish in Ealing

I love this plaice. Andy is a local guy and is hands down the owner of the best fish & chip shop in Ealing and probably one of the best in London. All his products are fresh and cooked to your liking in front of you. He is a very charming and genuine chippy who offers great value, service, banter and, of course, fantastic fish, chips and all the rest. If you get a chance try the Rock and the Cod Roe too.

Andy’s Fish and Chips in Northfield is hands down the best fish and chip shop in the area! The fish is always perfectly cooked – crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. Their chips are consistently golden and delicious, with just the right amount of crunch. The portions are generous, and the service is always friendly and efficient. Whether you’re grabbing a quick takeaway or enjoying a meal with family, Andy’s never disappoints. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality traditional fish and chips in Northfield!

The Best fish & chips I’ve eaten , Excellent service, Cooked to perfection, (fresh), Highly recommend.

Extremely disappointed in the quality of fish and the batter, which was almost inedible. The batter was very soggy and all stuck to the paper when I got home. Chips were okay. Shame, as the couple in the shop were very friendly, but really one of the worst tasting battered fish I've ever had.

World class fried cod and haddock, the chicken was well timed. Full marks

The food turned up cold to luke warm, the driver deilvered other deliveries which meant my food turned up cold!

Disappointing. Cod was overcooked and had soggy batter that wasn't crisp. Chips were okay-ish but were very dry inside, and for over £12 for a small portion of both, it just isn't worth the money. Bronek's down the road is MUCH better as their fish is cooked to order rather than left hanging around on a hot plate getting soggy.

Very pleased Andy is now using Just Eat, will look forward to ordering more from the best fish & chip shop in Ealing!

Andy's Quality Fish is the best place in West London to get your fish'n'chips. I'll order regularly now I know he with Just Eat, your delivery people always find my address, the others are not so good :-)

Great chat,Greek origins,we spoke about soccer together with the man and his son.The fish bar owner seemed very popular in the locality.He certainly accommodated me nicely and respectfully. It was possibly a wee bit spartan inside and slightly short on offerings,but the basics were there,saveloy ,sausages,pies. I had saveloys n chips.He brought me a glass water and let me sit inside.It was getting colder closer to Halloween. I enjoyed their company and my chips.Will drop in again if on the area. A nearby picture at Halloween on the close by allotment.

Am afraid this was quite terrible just don't understand the high reviews here. The haddock and cod were of poor quality and I am not sure it was actually cod. Certainly not big flakes of wonderful meaty fish more like an old sole of a shoe. Batter tough and small portions of curry sauce and mushy peas - not good value for money.

Great value and huge portions - my meal for two would have served two adults and two kids easily. Lovely fish and crisp batter. Some posts complain about the atmosphere but it’s old school and that’s what I like about it. Somewhat dated and probably needs a make over but hopefully it won’t put customers off because the food is of a good quality.

I come here regularly to order my fish and chips. The environment needs some atmosphere, but the owners are very friendly, and the fish and chips they serve have nothing to envy from the locals. Good quality/price ratio for being sea-caught fish, especially the haddock!

We ordered fish and chips takeaway on a Saturday evening. It was very quiet. The person behind the counter was very friendly and explained that he was frying the fish freshly so would take 10mins and it did. The fish was enough for 2people at least (50p in the picture was to show perspective). The batter was light and not too greasy the chips had that perfect fish shop taste. You could tell they take great pride in their food and carefully wrapped each item. A great part of the community

I had a lovely piece of quality rock last night, it was lovely creamy and white and fresh. Service is always unbelievable, please I have no words but to say Kyle does not know what he is talking about.................

Ordered Large Rock & Chips for dinner this evening, got home and tucked into the fish to find a large bone and the fish uncooked. Been here several times previously and requested that the food be cooked a little longer when ordering, however the owner refused this request and tonight I receive frozen raw fish. Certainly won’t be coming back.

I had a very good scampi and chips with baked beans.

Been looking for a good fish and chip shop since the local one to us changed ownership and is awful now. I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I did! My whole family loved it. The fish and chips were fresh and super tasty and so was the scampi! Will be definitely be coming back!

We live down the road and come here every couple of weeks for our fish and chips. Andy is the best, always friendly and gives generous portions. We love seeing him in the neighbourhood and it wouldn't be home without him.

To be honest the fish and chips quality is very good 👍 and there's nothing we can say about that and the quality of the service is great even the shop owner is nice and polite good customer service but the only thing  the price of the fish and chips quite expensive. I mean if that store was in central, London then you can charge double price, but it's in Northfield so really is not supposed to be that high price but the quality is best .👌

Absolutely disgusting , found not one but TWO hairs in my food. Straight in the bin, will never visit here again . Please avoid unless you like consuming other peoples hair and god knows what else . Wouldn’t be surprised if they had pests based on the cleanliness

The service was slow and we had to pay for chips that we didn’t ask for. The guy is quite unfriendly as well. It was a mistake going there.

Service wasn’t good, food was very bland and average. The attention was bad. Some people were served before us even if they came later.
