Delicious food , time after time

I've been using this chippy since I was 9 year's old. Quality is still quite good, but the portions compared to the price these day's has really declined and sometimes a little disappointing.

Manny's are the only chips you can reheat in the microwave and they're nearly as good as fresh

Ordered a fish supper. There were hardly any chips. Usually get a decent amount of chips so hopefully this was a one-off. Fish was okay though.

I ordered a battered sausage super, and when I say I had two legitimate chips of chewable size… I’m being serious. I got the bottom of the barrel scraps of chips, the crispy, small ones that you leave when you’re full up from a proper feed. It was like they said “nah no point sticking on proper chips and giving the customer what they ordered, it’s too late. Scrape together what’s left and make do.” Paid £13 for two battered sausages and a pile of dog mix lol

Mannys is the go to chippy for a perfect Saturday night takeaway. And with early delivery, sure you couldn't get better than that!

Minimum charge on card is £5 So if you just want chips on card don’t come here Food hygiene rating is 5 so all good but food to me is only a three and it’s not great Still a busy place But not the best of the north to me Asian chappy in the back doing cooking and prep seemed all ok Looks like manny has the monopoly on this area Nothing else north of here except right at top of shore road Not wheelchair friendly

waited almost an hour and they delivered half of the order. took it back. phoned and they said they would deliver the full order asap. half an hour later phoned back promise d it would not be long. didn't arrive and I phoned back. they were closed. shocking. never again

Was charged £2.70 for a curry sausage today, got 3 so £8.10 total for 3 sausages with a bit of curry on them. Use to use this chippy multiple times a week until I called one day to complain about receiving only 12 chips with a chicken meal. Ever since that day they’ve been rude, condescending and clearly overcharging me. Wouldn’t recommend, not very professional.

The food here is always good, but I will never for the life of me know why they keep taking orders when they can’t manage them in reasonable time! I ordered at 17:20 and it was 19:30 before I got a delivery, and they NEVER answer a phone. I’m afraid it’s going to put me off ordering again anytime soon.

Have been going to Manny's for over 25years + had the fish today they were like old boots couldn't find the fish nothing but batter and so small never again 👎

Normally good food. Getting pricey, The chicken is getting thinner and the batter tastes different.

shocking portion sizes, goujons were tiny and tasted like they'd been cooked and re cooked several times. chip portions were tiny

Absolutely terrible service forgot an item that took 45 mins to deliver after our order came. Chips were burnt and chicken looked and tasted like it was from previous day just reheated again. Will not be rushing back to order

£4.50 for a chip which I thought was expensive but assumed it would be worth it and nearly died when I seen the portion size. Absolutely ridiculous what Mannys are charging.

I am just getting a chance to get back to in relation to the order. Being a customer for a number of years we were really disappointed with the last order on Thursday evening. The meal ordered as you can note the one fish and chips was ok the 2nd fish and chip box loaded with chips and two pieces of fish one looked a fish strip and the 2nd was a small piece of fish. One Pastie which was fine but chips cold. I questioned this a Mannys meal Glengirmely great No more Antrim Rd really disappointing

I ordered a fish supper and ended with something like you would buy from Iceland. I do not recommend and there's no way I will be back.

Mrs Got a pastie, few chips...Very disappointed with the pastie.. Very high salt content, some spices, and the content was bright pink! Like some sort of preservative used on meat content!

Went in for a fish supper - of all days on good Friday. Smallest fish I seen in my life. Chips were all wee end. Definitely would not recommend. I won't be back. I will spend my good hard earned money else where.

This chippy use to be best in town, queue was out the door most nights. The food served now is of poor quality, soggy chips, small portions, wrong orders etc, the prices they are charging people for the food there selling is extortionate, do better Mannys.

Right, let me start by saying....tired of sub quality food in any takeaway, especially due to the prices being charged. Just getting really sick of it. I am saying this is not worst, trust me there is much worse, but please when you serve food make sure it is edible for the customer. This is the second time with the same item in a matter of weeks. So on the 15th Feb 2024 ordered 2 Sausages and a half portion of Onion rings, now sausages and the chips where fine (if someone went wrong with a sausage they should not be working in a chippy!) Onion Rings, well thats another story...2nd time same rubbish quality, barely edible, infact most went in the bin. Take 1 of these, use it for a frisbie or if you want to break a window, just throw one of these at it, but try and eat it and you will break your teeth, terrible, tough, chewy , not fit to be eaten. I am not being harsh, but this is the 2nd time in 4 weeks I had to throw them in the bin. Now £6.20 for that order, not sure where that comes from, seemed high, but considering I could not eat half of it, money was wasted. Why just why cannot you not get it right. What do you expect people to do when they get served this type of food? There is the FSA, they can check and there is a food quality reporting link on their website. If places do not get their house in order, I will start using it considering prices being charged nowadays.

If I could give zero stars I would!!! Mannys use to be one of the best chippy in an around Belfast... but, sorry to say it has went to the dogs to say the least. My chips were rock hard an cold, seems like they'd been sitting for ages..definitely not fresh!!! The pastie was soggy an cold also... food was horrendous, 100% not be back.

Usually Mannys is excellent, but I paid £21 for two of the smallest pieces of fish I’ve ever seen. It’s no exaggeration to say they were 90% batter. And stone cold by the time they were delivered. Very disappointing.

Order from this local fish & chip shop on a regular basis . food is consistently delicious & would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

Food took over an hour to arrive. When it did it was cold, fish was mainly batter no fish. Batter on sausages was so thin and over cooked. Usually love food from mannys but was very disappointing today. Portion sizes also massively reduced.

I bought a curry chip this afternoon, l received my order within 30 seconds. The curry had a gelatinous texture, the chips were barely warm and soggy, the portion £5.50 was that of a starter and blessedly so. There was nothing to redeem this take away.

Did not receive what I ordered! I ordered a fish supper and cheese burger with onion, I didn’t get chips with my supper or cheese on the burger. The burger was like rubber. And the fish itself was so small. Was like half the size. As for it being early. It was 20 mins early.

Made a order at mannys and for mushrooms I was given a measley 4 wasn't happy I rang manys to complain they said they put 8 in a box if I had 8 I wouldn't of rang they sent a driver up to me with another 4 in a box you would of thought they would of given me a full portion and maybe a dip to say sorry and to keep my custom well I won't be buying from mannys again tight gits stingy or what mannys has lost my custom I should've got of the chip company at least they give loads of mushrooms mannys used to be good not now 🤬🤬

When the “sausage supper” arrived for £7 I received 1 sausage a a small scoop full of chips . It was very disappointing and I definitely wouldn’t order from this chilly again.

Been using Manny’s for many years. Have always got scoop of chips with each sausage. Portion of chicken nuggets and chips only came with a wee handful of chips. Also sausages came doubled up so only half the expected amount of chips. I’d rather pay more for the food than have the portions halved! Very disappointing and we are all still a bit hungry tonight unfortunately. Also wasn’t the warmest so needed warmed up.

Bad experience with mannys.. I have tried to order from this been told don't deliver to Ligoniel area first time was basically not worth there while delivering to me and then because drivers refuse to come up!! If don't deliver to this area stop accepting it and take it off justeat!!

Nice friendly staff, but service was slow. Fish was OK but chips didn't seem to be freshly cooked. Terrible beef burger that was chewy and tasted like low grade meat. Fed the burger to the dog in the end.

Apart the from chips everything we ordered was terribly overcooked. Onion rings , battered mushrooms and chicken goujons were all terrible. The batter was hard and hard to break through either with utensils or teeth. The order was 2 older ladies and they could barely eat any of the order.

I always loved mannys, I specifically asked for chips to be well done, they arrived and they were soggy, so we put them straight into the bin.

Walk on by, the only thing at Manny's that has not deteriorated over the years are the prices.
