Excellent steak at a very good price.The cheesecake was probably the best I've ever had. Lovely community run pub , well worth a visit.

This pub I believe is a "village community rescue pub". It is tastefully decorated and furnished. Service was great, welcoming, and warm. Food is available check opening times and menu Support a good pub.

Nice community run pub. Will continue to use. Not yet tried the food.

Went for a walk around Earls Hill and after getting thoroughly drenched decided a Sunday lunch was needed. On recommendation we opted to try this place out. Definitely a good choice! Luckily we slipped in just before the end of lunch service and had three very hearty roast dinners at a very reasonable cost. Staff were lovely and some really big characters. When each saw our dog they reappeared with some meat so he definitely wants to go back! We were made to feel very welcome and would not hesitate to return.

Attended for a wake. Buffet was excellent. Service from staff, same. Beer choice very good.

Been going here for years for meals, unfortunately the staff have changed and the food has gone from excellent to very basic and not worth the money.

It was my 16th birthday and we got threatened by the cook who look like roz and the lady behind the bar because we didn’t pay straight away and the fact we didn’t order food but my grandad was happily sitting there eating and drinking watching the game and they started to threaten us to leave ! we are saddened for this to happen it was a rlly good and happy pub but just a shame the monster inc cast took over

12 of us arrived at lunchtime on a Saturday without prior notice and we were all served promptly, it was nice weather and we had 4 dogs so we sat in the wonderful beer garden. We all ordered food and as all 12 of us were eating we were very pleased with the speed at which it was served (considering we were told that 1 person was working in the kitchen). Dietary requirements were easily understood and catered to and the portions of food/quality of food were perfect, everybody loved the chips, very reasonable prices!

Wednesday bingo night was brilliant, going early next time to eat first.

Cheesy chips and a game of bingo on a Wednesday night. Great chunky chips. Also a good 3 tuns pint and a game of bingo on a Wednesday night. Good local pub and friendly 👍

Sunday lunch is amazing , Sonia is a fantastic cook . Would recommend the pork . So tender .. booking advised as gets busy.

Just moved to hanwood and invited my parents to have Sunday dinner yesterday and the roast beef was delicious. I couldn’t fault it one bit! Definitely recommend going there for one. Great local pub.

Brilliant place and friendly people, spoke to us as if they had known us ages, not local to them as we are from springlea caravan park. Good food too and to top it a game of bingo too 😁

Decent pub, reasonably priced, staff brilliant.

First visit for me for club meeting. First impressions, friendly, bar not overly big but big enough. We had the function room to ourselves. No comment about outside areas as it was dark on my visit

A relaxed and laid back traditional pub. Great staff and great drinks. Well priced too. Ask for a pork pie, they are scrumptious.

Called in for a drink after completing a round of golf at the local Arscott Golf Club. It was early doors on a Wednesday, so not many in, but the barmaid and the locals were very friendly.

The pub is next to my bowling club, where I spend a lot of time.

Recently decorated to a lovely standard with reasonable choice of beers and a bowling green and outside seating areas ... Staff are friendly and enjoy a bit of humour with the customers

We had our Son's Christening party here and it was fab. The food was lovely and the staff were brilliant. I would definitely recommend this pub and we will definitely be using them in the future
