Good food alright when parked up for 12hra off

The food is great and so are the staff.place very clean. The only slight niggle is the place is cold and it makes your food go cold.lt was 10 degrees outside and there were no radiators on .I checked the heating inside and it was 12 degrees. Its still my favourite cafe.

Biker's cafe, know for its atmosphere

Lovely pit stop especially for truckers, bikers and those wanting good hearty food, when on a long journey.

Absolutely brilliant place hot food and value , had large breakfast and mug of tea very tasty been a number of times will go again soon.

I always stop at the Raven to have my tea if I'm at work and I'm passing by in my truck, I always find the staff friendly and the food is really good

Stopped there last night, peaceful place, great food-price, quality & portions, good showers etc. Just a great old school truck stop with really nice down to earth Ladies looking after everybody getting people well fed. Thank you.

Been to a few stops as a HGV Driver but this is the best one!!! staff are friendly and welcoming food was brilliant and lots of space to park your lorry showers/ toilets are Good and clean hopefully if I'm near again I will stop here for the night again!!

We popped in for a brew on the way home from a gig! We had already eaten, but the carvery looked AMAZING!! Hence, we ended up taking three portions home for tea! It was delicious! The staff were so lovely, we would definitely stop there again! Love a biker cafe!!

Seems to be quite the haunt for bikers and lorry drivers. But I can see why. The food is good and there are a fair few options for vegetarians also. When they didn't have what I requested once, the lady was nice enough to talk about other options. There's a large space for parking motorcycles outside as well as benches on the grass when the weather is good. Just be wary if there's a lot of traffic (in the car park) on a good dry day, there's a lot of dust. At the side there's a tent which is great to keep you out of the rain. Toilets and showers are available. But for customers only. All in all a great place to stop by and no doubt I'll be by again. Enjoy.

HGV parking is operated on an adjacent gravel patch. Right next to the Restaurant where you pay for parking "SNAP option" and inside there is a well-maintained and clean sanitary facility including a shower with hot water. The staff seem very friendly and accommodating to HGV drivers. Just be careful who doesn't mind a little healthy traffic. The restaurant is popular with local bikers and there is a meeting every Thursday

Good old transport cafe, breakfast was good and not overly expensive

Everything was hot and freshly prepared.

Was Hungry on arrival. But not when i left

First time stopping here tonight, I will definitely be back! Warm welcome, Friendly staff, Fantastic food, (I ordered a small gammon egg and chips, it was gorgeous 😋) Finished with a coffee and slice of biscoff cake. The toilets and showers were absolutely spotless. Your doing a great job keep up the good work, I can't wait to stay here again 👍 AND it's on snap! Just I side note the hgv yard is a bit boggy but I had my work boots on so absolutely fine 🙂 (please don't take it as criticism as I'm only writing it so people know what to expect x)

Never went near after they binned lynn.It was my favorite dine when passing,but Lynn was lovely and worked hard so I'm gonna remain loyal to her and it gives me huge pleasure to say ' I WONT RETURN!'

Brilliant cafe/bikers meeting place. Good quality food at sensible prices. I’ve used the cafe before and I’ll use it again.

I had gammon egg and chips. The gammon must’ve been frozen salty is anything chips and eggs fantastic gammon Rubbish.

Cannot comment, as I only had a cup of tea. But highly recommended by fellow biker's

Paid £12 for the mega breakfast and there was nothing mega about it at all . The sausages was cheap and tasteless, the bacon was undercooked even though I asked for well done bacon , the mushrooms was swimming i grease. Over all the breakfast was worth £5 at the very most

Good quality food and plenty of it. Reasonable price. Didn't do carvery. Let's be honest we go for the bikes.

Desperately in need of a Sunday Fry up ? or Sunday Carvery ? I can't comment on the carvery, walked past it to get to the breakfast department. Service was very good. Prices really good. Food was more than acceptable. My wife and I enjoyed a small breakfast and an All day breakfast. Both came with fried bread and toast as well which was great ! My daughter had 2 sausages. At £19.50 I refuse to find fault and will visit again. Parking is ample for trucks, cars, caravans and 100s of bikers ! Local families dining as well as the likes of us just passing through. 5star. Thanks.

A great place for breakfast and more at a reasonable price! A good place to stop for a feed, it's very basic but the place is well run and the food is good. A transport cafe, maybe not a place to impress the ladies when they're wearing their posh clothes, but a great place to meet with your mates. A favourite of the biker guys and girls and plenty of place to park the heavy transport too.

Plenty of parking. Good bacon and sausage sandwich, decent mug of tea. Would call in again if in the area.

Hello. Payment via Snap. Let’s talk about the parking lot surface - yes, there are holes and potholes, puddles, etc... But for the pleasant attitude towards you in the cafe, the lovely women will offer you a lot of different dishes and snacks, clean showers (2 pcs), clean toilets... At 20.30 there are no places, with the ref working it is also unlikely that they will be allowed to stand...

Great place to stop and have a break wether in a car or on ur motorcycle

Unfortunately greed has taken over here. Went to the bike night yesterday and they were charging £2.20 for a bottle of pop and £1.50 for a can, SCANDALOUS. Most of the staff are friendly and the food is okay but come on, the prices of the things you sell are crazy and there's no reason for it. They must be making a killing with the volume of people paying these prices

Can't comment on the food as it was closed when I got there but I've heard good things about it, a very quiet nights sleep from a truck drivers point of view though

Love this cafe always have beautiful food

Food is hot and fresh, coffee is good (cappuccino off the board, considerably better than the basic brew) toilets are much cleaner, service is much better and polite albeit still a bit of a wait. Raven has improved a lot.

More of a truckers and bike stop. Very dated and functional but food was good and staff were pleasant.

Parked overnight here in a HGV. Plenty of spaces. Very quiet. Paid £24, that included a meal and shower. I decided to try the cottage pie with potatoes and veg + gravy. The portion was massive. Great taste and quality. The toilets and showers were nice and clean. All staff members were professional and kind. Only negative would be the parking area could do with a little investment as your shoes get all muddy if it's rained. Would definitely be staying here again if I'm in the area.

Nice friendly cafe with a good selection of fresh cooked meals

Lovely breakfast this morning at the Raven Cafe. Food served quickly and with a smile. Breakfast was hot, fresh and tasty. Couldn’t fault anything about it. There are plenty of options too, from a full mega breakfast, to a healthy breakfast. They also offer a carvery too, which I didn’t try, but if it’s anything like the breakfast, I’m sure it’s lovely!

Super breakfast, nice service, maximum satisfaction, I recommend it to everyone.

Excellent 'traveller' food served on HOT plates so it stays hot 👍 And dogs get a free sausage. What's to not like 😊

Great place to park up and the food is decent as well. Park on the gravel for the Raven and you get a meal voucher and a shower included in the price so can’t complain.

Great tea and lovely, delicious fresh baked cakes. So good you have to be early, esp with the lemon cake, disappears in no time! Staff very helpful and friendly too. Lots of motorbikes there on a Sunday afternoon and Thursday evenings, traditional meet up!

Where to start, I have a breakfast £9 the beans you could fire from a 44 magnum Revolver, 1 lousy plumb for tomatoes not even a drain of tomoto juice and the sausages must of bathed in cooking oil for a good 24hrs, the place has completely gone downhill from last time I went what a shame!

Really unorganised and order was given to someone else when the wrong breakfast came, I approached the waiter and was rudely told that I would have to wait longer and they wasn’t prepared to sort the issue, food was nice but tremble services don’t recommend!!!

Parking £24 including £8.50 for food. Clean showers, food ok. Unfortunately, the parking lot is in the mud. Overall, a positive stop.

Spontaneous visit for Sunday carvery, food was perfect and service was friendly and swift. Great value. The brunches being served at the other counter looked delicious too!

I had a bacon & sausage sandwich on white bread & tomato sauce to eat out, it was very nice.

Banging breakfast, stopped on the way to Rhyl as we usually do

Called in today had the most hideous bacon and cheese bap ever! The bacon wasn't cooked properly, dripping with grease microwaved cheese where all the fat soaked into the bap!! Disgusting microwaved mess!

Faceted bulk snap, toilet, shower free of charge. It was not possible to try the food, since it was Sunday at 3:30 p.m. and the dining room was already being cleaned. They mistakenly write that the parking lot is asphalted across the street, but there is a card payment in the terminal.

Ok for a stop off while travelling great biker friendly cafe

Picked this place from Google maps on a whim looking for biker friendly cafes. It's a popular bikers haunt, but we were the only 2 bikers in there when we arrived. I had the mega breakfast 3 sausage 3 bacon 2 eggs plus all the usual trimmings and a brew for £12. It was pretty good, very nice bacon in particular the sausages could have been a bit better quality, but you can't have everything can you? The Mrs had the carvery and praised the lamb in particular. Staff were really good throughout our visit. It looks like the bikers/truckers cafe that it is, so the decor is basic, but it's clean and clearly popular with a lot of people quite a few families in when we were there. Would definitely eat here again if I'm passing.

The only thing that is bad is to reach 28 pounds

First class Sunday carvery could not fault in any way 4 adults 2 kids great value and all home cooked been a couple times before very good 👍
