Absolutely lovely place inside The Trinity Theatre. The menu is simple and reasonably priced, but the food is tasty with decent portions. I had a sweet potato quesadillas which was crisp on the outside with a delicious filling, and a nice side salad. I sat outside where there were plenty of tables, and it was a beautiful spot in the sun with the smell of all the fresh flowers. There are umbrellas for those seeking shade. The staff were very attentive, friendly and quick. Highly recommended for a light lunch in the town centre.

The Clocktower Bistro is a popular spot for both locals and visitors to Tunbridge Wells. Located within the Trinity Theatre, the bistro/cafe offers a relaxed and casual experience. The menu features a variety of British classic offers like a range sandwiches and jacket potatoes, as well as other dishes like risotto, Thai curry, and quesadillas. I recently visited the Clocktower Bistro for lunch and ordered the beans & cheese jacket potato. The potato was perfectly cooked and served with a healthy heap of cheese and beans accompanied with a salad which was fresh and crisp. Overall, I was very impressed with the food at the Clocktower both in taste and value for money. The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, I had a great experience at the Clocktower Bistro. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good quick/relaxed lunch in Tunbridge Wells.

Warm welcome, rather pushy waiter taking order, good service BUT food mediocre: my husband’s aubergine melanzana was not good he said, and his dish of the day pasta bland & tasteless; based on glowing reviews I chose the lamb, that was more less without flavour inc sauce & I’d been pushed to order extra veg by waiter and got a watery spoonful of spinach @ 6.50. Expensive meal and really disappointing
