Italiart in Tunbridge Wells

This small restaurant opend under a new owner just before lockdown v1 and is now having an opportunity to establish itself. Arrived for Sunday lunch at about 13.45 and we were somewhat concerned to see that we were to be the only people in the restaurant! We need not have worried as the food and service were excellent. And we were told that a large party had just left. This is a great addition to the T.Wells food offer.

Booked lunch here, requested high chair and they especially got one in which was so thoughtful and appreciated. Service was very friendly and attentive, good extensive menu and our chicken lasagne was superb. Very good prices and would definitely come back again.

We had a take away from this restuarant and when it turned up 20 minutes late not only was the food cold but it smelt of cigarettes. When we have had food previously in the restuarant it has been very good quality. Perhaps a word to your delivery company might be a good idea.

I very much enjoyed the pizza from Italiart. I’d never eaten from there before so I didn’t know what I was in, but I was very pleased. It’s authentic so don’t expect a dominos-like pizza with a tonne of toppings but the taste is great. Also had the garlic bread but it was slightly crispy as it’s so thin but still, a good flavour.

Ordered a pizza delivery. We had a standard Margarita and a Burrata Pizza. It tasted so fresh. Amazing friendly service and incredible Pizza!!

We were on rainy holiday in Tunbridge and were very glad we chose to eat here. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff were very attentive. As well as a selection of wines, the chef has sought craft Italian beer which makes it stand out from other Italian restaurants. We know this because we got talking with chef and it's clear he's very passionate about getting a name for Italian beer that isn't Peroni :) We also stayed behind chatting with the staff for ages and if we find ourselves in the area again, we'll definitely go here again.

We had a very enjoyable meal here on a rainy Saturday night. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious as were the cocktails! This is how all restaurants should be run. We will certainly be returning.

I was looking for a restaurant near the wonderful Fuggles and came across Italiart. It's a small and very friendly restaurant with a great menu of pasta, pizza and puccia. The food was freshly prepared and tested wonderful and was washed down with some Italian craft beer. We will be going back and I'd recommend to everyone to go try and enjoy.

I'm italian so I'm really fussy about pizza. Excellent dough and toppings. Absolutely recommended!!!!!!

Don't be fooled, this is a pizzeria - not what you would typically expect from an Italian restaurant. None the less, their pizzas were amazing! We came here twice during a weeks business trip because it was so good. Not the biggest place, but the friendly cosy nature made it feel more authentic. The staff were really friendly and the facilities were very clean. If you like a good authentic Italian pizza, freshly cooked at a reasonable price - this is the place for you. For future reference, they are going to start doing other traditional Italian dishes, as well as cocktails too. Their Tiramisu was to die for too.

We sat outside and it was cosy and lovely, pizza was amazing and the two men who served us were lovely. Would definitely recommend

We had a really good experience eating in here on a quiet Tuesday. Take away was happening also. Food was authentic with an interesting menu, delicious, (lovely tiramisu with interesting presentation!) with excellent service with a very attentive and friendly waiter. Much nicer than the usual Italian 'chains', give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

Came last Wednesday and had a great night. Very generously sized starters and delicious pizzas. All washed down with lashings of rosé. We’ll be back. Thanks to all staff.

Fantastic restaurant, lovely staff, beautiful food and a truly authentic Italian vibe. We had starters, mains and limoncello. Really beautiful food, staff couldn’t do more, gorgeous setting, feel like you’ve left Tunbridge Wells far behind!

We took our teenage grandchildren for pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the evening. The pizzas were really delicious - probably the best we’ve had outside Italy. Our hosts were efficient, friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the relaxed, unpretentious interiors too. Thoroughly recommend.

We went on a weekday evening using the eat out to help out scheme. At the moment they are just doing pizzas for main course (although they have starters like calamari). There was a wide variety to choose from, including some of their own ‘specials’....

Really good pizza, service is excellent, seating is good but do call the restaurant and ask for a garden table if the weather is nice.
