The Clarry is a traditional street corner pub. It's very popular with football and rugby fans being close to the stadium. There is a wide variety of beers, lagers, and cider, but sadly, no hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a pool table and outside seating. There is a takeaway attached to the pub the pub does Sunday lunches and fish and chip Fridays.

Lovely welcome. Armistice Sunday and we hadn’t booked, but Steve squeezed us in. My dad said his turkey dinner was great (high praise indeed from him!) They did a take away prawn cocktail for my mum in hospital. I saw how they welcomed a couple with a toddler and they are such lovely people.

I have been to The Clarry for their Friday fish and chips many times. The food is excellent, I really can't fault it. Due to the pandemic rules they have 2 outside dinning areas which are very pleasant.

Great staff , lovely food and a nice beer garden on a sunny afternoon. Well impressed with the choice of beers at a very good price . Had a school reunion here and had a great day catching up with each other after 44 years after leaving school .

Do you like friendly staff? Do you like friendly locals? Do you like your proper English pubs to have proper Greek takeaways built-in? Then this is the place for you! The Clarry - or the Clarendon to give it it's Sunday name - is simply a fantastic family-run pub. You can get a quality, inexpensive pint and quick service. Live sport is shown in both the main rooms with different channels playing and they'll change things over to suit you if you ask nicely. Beware that on a Hull City matchday the Clarry can get quite packed due to the proximity to the football ground although it is a testament to the bar staff that even an hour before kick of at the peak time for getting served you will wait no more than a couple of minutes. Some Wetherspoons around the country would probably take around 5-10 minutes when they are as busy. Please note that while the Clarry is regarded as a "home fans" pub that they will serve well behaved away fans. Although I would advise you not to wear an away team's 'colours' on matchday. Not because the Clarry is one of those rough-and-tumble places but purely out of politeness.
