Good friendly pub, good service and lovely staff 👍

Racist, do not accept international id, avoid.

Staff were wonderful. I use crutches and the staff were amazing at getting me up the stairs and into a booth. Also cleared the way when I came to leave. Cannot thank them enough.

Great atmosphere, love the genuine old style and originality. The drinks are reasonably priced and the vibes are great. I would have to remove one star due to the crowding that occurs on a busy week end, I think if the bouncers limited the number of people inside when it is very buy it would be a 5/5

Awful service. Had a pint of Lilleys mango cider which tasted horrible, can only assume it was the first one out of the box which had sat in the line, when asking staff to replace it i was told they can't do it unless I buy another one. Wouldn't recommend anyone going in there.

Was a quiet drink for the start of our evening. No food just drinks.

Quiet place to start the night but picked up as the evening went on and there was a good atmosphere and the music was decent as well. Could have done with a few more recent tunes but none the less it was good. Good stop for a Saturday evening.

Excellent selection of ciders. Loved it.

Lasted 20 minutes, within that time someone was dragged out. Quickest drink ever.

A "gentleman" white long hair, was filming me for over a few seconds, aiming at me and my company, we left, reported it to a the bouncer at the main door. He said he will deal with it. Asked how he will deal with it (whilst queueing), said he had to deal with other more important cases. I said i am a woman and i didnt like someone filming me. And that was the reason i left. Asked his name. Called Adam. Said he will give me his number badge but i had to wait, which i did. He swapped his position with someone else. He also touched me without my consent and i asked him not to touch me. Said to the guy what happened and that i had to go back the next day and actually speak to someone who already has been filming women dancing 👎

Great selection of Lily's cider and good service, feels a bit dark inside and seats aren't the most comfortable even though they look quite cool, no outdoor seating either which is a shame!

Always very empty, no atmosphere. Bar staff look bored and on multiple occasions it's been empty or with a handful of people.

Great little place, over looking the water on the barbican. Outdoor seating Indoor seating upstairs and down Turns into a club in the evening

Love it here for a dance, staff are always in a good move. Security look out for you and are friendly! Ciders on tap, as well as beers. Large selection of gins and spirits.

Dj a woman beater I would not go a bar that supports that as doorman don't mind it. All true seen pic and he still paying the court fine

I went into the cider press with 5 other people we only brought 6 shots and then moved on to the next place, I was mortified to find we had been charged £42 for 6 shots!! The card machine was upside down to us so it looked like £24 but when I checked the next day it was £42! £7 a shot is ridiculous!!! Bar staff have clearly massively over charged us so won’t be going back there again and I would love to know how much the shots actually are!!!

As usual Cider press never fails as a go to at the end of the night.

Poor range of ciders none of which were from Devon or Cornwall. Piped muzak added to the dull atmosphere. Shame really because the pub interior is good and the pub could be great if someone with a bit of ambition took over

To be honest I was so drunk I can't really remember! Don't have any bad memories!

Pretty good, good music and good cider, selection of spirits on tap. Staff are all really friendly. Seating area outside belongs to the pub next door though hence only 4 stars. Worth a visit.

Went in last night with my partner and our friend. The 2 barmaids was awful, more interested in looking at their mobiles.

If you own a boat and don't have time to walk to another pub this might be alright.

I'm not going to pretend like it's the ritz, but you get what you go in for. Music is eclectic but a lot of Bangers, bit of a weird layout, small, but dancing on the tables makes up for it. Fun time!

Cider was alright, but staff were unwelcoming. The venue was completely empty and we felt as if we had disturbed their idle chatter. Won't be returning.

Great place good beer and music

Only a small selection of ciders for a place that's called the cider press. However a cozy but slightly cold area to sit inside. Better to be here in the summer but still enjoy a pint here from time to time.

Very expensive was charged 8 quid for a glass over wine don't take your shoes off u may get stuck to the floor

Fantastic place full ov friendly people and great atmospher always a great nice and great music 70s 80s 90s and 200s + its the only place to be try it ul never look bk you can thank me if you get the chance lol

It's small it's packed, it's dark and needs a whole refurbishment, long wait for service at bar, it really is a elbows at dawn type place.

Had a great evening. A bit dark place, but it's so cozy.

Hoofing bar and excellent staff, never knew the upstairs bar was open all the time.

Great local ciders and atmosphere of an old pub, we missed the live music but the dance floor could be enjoyed with the DJ
