The Chippy in High Peak

I’m visiting the area and decided to treat myself to a chippy tea. I looked on the price list and saw that chilli and chips were on offer at £3.95! I thought “I’m having some of that”. At my local chippy it’s more than double the price. It took a while to cook because it wasn’t a usual item which people were ordering. It was a Friday so it was quite busy and a heck of a lot of fish were being freshly cooked. The owner and the lady helping him were really busy but they still had the ability to talk to me whilst putting my order together. I explained that I was just visiting the area and asked where I could find certain places. They were both more than helpful. Got my tea home and it was DELICIOUS! Thank you for a tasty tea. I cannot believe the prices you are charging, definitely good value for money.

Excellent Food, ordered in the chippy and cooked fresh. Really nice fish with just the right amount of batter and lovely chips. Enjoyed every mouthful

Coffee Machine not working (apparently it hasn't for months) Unable to scan rewards card so unable to use offers. Staff very apologetic and polite.

Excellent food hot fresh and value for money and great service never had a bad meal. Some people have called it but they either have no taste buds or trying spoil things for a business shouldn’t be allowed

It was ok. But for the price I was expecting more. Small portions, and just expensive for what we got. Fish was fairly fresh, and the chips wasn’t bad
