The Chip-Co Aylesbury in Aylesbury Vale

I ordered via uber and the delivery never turned up. They came back to my door gone 10pm to tell me I will get my money back the next day and someone else took my order however they have not turned up with my money so I paid for food which I did not receive. Will not be returning and I will be putting it all over social media to let other know this is what this branch does if they don’t give me my money back

Fantastic delivery and fantastic food

Delivery was late, understandable as its a Saturday, Fried chicken came very soggy and had obviously been sitting in the box for a while. Chicken wings were a bit undercooked and had to throw them away.

I’ll start with the positives, good parking outside the shop, the fish and chips are really nice, cod has a real nice light batter, chips are also nice, good portion size, highly recommended the cod and chips, negatives, ordered a doner kebab the portion was very small, and the meat tasted like a cheaper version of the supermarket frozen kebabs, sausage was slightly underdone and red inside, service was very slow even with 8/9 staff, they prioritise the delivery orders first, had to remind them about my order after 20 mins, to sum up go there for the cod and chips, would have given 4* if the service was better

The order was fine but you didn't have the curry pancake roll and said you'd refund the £2.50 for it but didn't and you still haven't. Not a good look!!!

Really nice fish and chips, my wife said that it was the best fish she had ever had.

Food was lovely, normally go in to order but ordered a take away. Unfortunately it took nearly 2 hours to arrive.

This Chip shop is one of the best. The owners and staff are super friendly too. I’ve never had any issues with any order I’ve made through them. The food is cooked too perfection personally. I made a suggestion about lining the chip boxes as the chips have been known to stick and they welcomed the criticism with no issues. I love treating myself and family to a meal from here. I have also dined-in in the shop as they have tables and seating.

I place an order regular for the cod & chips to be delivered and the telephone service is always pleasant, the food is always delivered quickly and the food itself is always so perfect, with great tasting fish in perfect batter with loads of nice soft chips. Am ‘forced’ to give 1 star for delivery, my choice would have been NO stars. Food had the edge of freshness taken away as it had to be warmed up in the microwave. Unusually for this place it was bad service, they’re normally good. No apologies from the delivery driver either

Well worth the wait. Best mixed kebab I've had for a while. Loads of salad which I like. Loads of coleslaw. Great burger for hubby and chicken pieces were better than another fried chicken company.

Best place I've been to for fried chicken in Aylesbury. Popular shop, the portions are smaller than others, but the prices are better. I don't feel like I ate too much food, and it's excellent value for money. They do have a big menu, I tried their spicy rice once, it was cooked to perfection. Great spice, a bit too much heat for me, but if you enjoy the burn, it's fantastic. The chips come in smaller boxes or larger trays, they're steak cut, but also have the tiny crispy potato bits, almost like crisps. Best chips I've had in Aylesbury. Limited seating in the shop, but you can eat in the shop, but most pick up for take out.

Best place for halal fish and chips. The fish and chips are fried in separate oil so you can eat with a peace of mind. Extensive menus with lots of offerings at reasonable prices.

So disappointed as normally such lovely chips....purchased today around 16.40 hrs. Chips were cold.

Ordered chicken meat and chips and the chicken meat was horrible. It was curried and dry. Most bizarre and horrible chicken meat chips we've ever had.

I tried the mix kebabs with chips and onions. it's very delicious and a fair portion with a good price

Normally go in person and are top drawer. Sadly this time with delivery it took nearly an hour and a half to arrive and when it did, the kebabs were wrong. Dont think I'll order through delivery again, but will carry on going in person.

Chips were nice.. that’s where the positives stop. Ordered chicken wrap, chicken burger and some chicken strips. It was all dryer than a cream cracker. Even with loads of sauce it was inedible. The “hot” burger was one of the spiciest things I’ve ever had in my life too!

Although the staff are nice this has got be one of the slowest fish and chip shops I have ever been to! Order pie and chips and sausage and chips and it takes minimum 10 minutes to receive and on occasions nearly half an hour!!

The food is always boiling hot fresh and delicious! I’ve never had a bad experience in this store & the staff are so friendly! Especially now as we are regular customers, it’s nice to be recognised when I walk in and receive friendly greetings every time!

I have used this shop for a long time but of late i have to say that the kebab is falling short there is a lack of salad not much meat i have a mixed chicken and donor meat it seems to be suffering from shrink flation very dissapionted

Always super fresh and hot, and great value for money! Great selection, i normally stick to the haddock and the fried chicken, bloody lovely! Pick it up though, or stop moaning about delivery companies making your food cold you plebs! Great chip ahop, best in Aylesbury IMO!

Items missing, salad in wrong wraps, bad service phone was engaged couldn't get through tried for over 25 minutes. Never had such bad service, not going back.

Nasty. I could not rest tonight before I left a honest review. I’m from London and therefore know what a real kebab is suppose to taste like. My kebab taste like curry and I’m soo disappointed. I could not eat it as it was sickening! First and last time ordering from here Completely dissatisfied

Unfortunately when i buy fried chiken, it happened one piece is missing. Its the third time it happens. That's not good at all.

Waited hour& half for delivery food was cold would have been quicker to go to Grimsby to get my own fish.

Highly overpriced and portion size very small for how much u pay . Plenty of chippies in Aylesbury that would top this . SAVE YOURSELF FROM A RIP OFFFF
