Pk. When with my god daughter on Friday night. Hard to understand at first what to do. So you have to download the app off the qr code. My phone won't work. But my god daughters after a while did. So we got told not to order anything more then 3 dishes at a time each. So ordered all together 3 drinks of coke. A sheer starter. 3 more starters. 2 mains. A soup. And 3 deserts. Tiny servings. And asked for the bill. Came to a whopping £67 pounds. Ridiculous! Will never go again. I think the money goes to keeping the robots that came round with your dinner. Gimmick. One of the deserts I ordered was waffle and ice cream. I cream was ok. But the waffle was so hard. Couldn't eat it. !

For the £25.99 charged for the Sunday Buffet the food was very average and didn’t seem that fresh. However, the service was really good and the robots were great. Glad I’ve been but wouldn’t return, as it is way overpriced.

Food here is lovely but fairly expensive. Service is good (robot cats bring your food) There is very little understanding of special needs though. When I booked i put in the notes we were autistic and needed a quieter table but when I got there and checked the lady was dismissive and said they didn't have quiet tables for 7 people and didn't let me explain about how to make the visit more manageable for us. The toilets are by the entrance so a bit of a trek but they are well kept.

We have visited this restaurant lots of times and always loved it. Unfortunately this time was dreadful!! We were a party of 8, celebrating a birthday and we're squashed into a corner, had no room and we're given part of a highchair with no tray for the child's food. We were then told that we could only order off 2 phone apps, as the WiFi couldn't take it because the restaurant was at capacity. We couldn't see what we were ordering and were reliant on the people with the phone to choose our food. Two share starters arrived, we had ordered 4, no other food came for 15 minutes. By then I had been sat for 30 minutes and had had 1 chicken wing. I got up to complain but food arrived, unfortunately it was only for 3 people and was missing the chicken to go with the rice and other items. At this point another complaint was made. This went on and on and we all got so fed up it ruined our evening. Also another major issue, was that the robots were on a timer and if you didn't remove your food fast enough, the robot left with it and you then had to chase after it, it was ridiculous!!! We again spoke to the manager and he deducted the price of 2 meals as compensation. The whole evening was a disappointment and what was a celebration was ruined. If they can no longer cater for a larger party, they should limit party bookings when busy.

Left us for 15 mins to then seat us and proceed to try and rob us. Tried to suggest that height is the deciding factor for if a child is classed as a child or not. Coming from chinese people who are all small, kind of a scam really isnt it. Sorry my 11 year old looks like an adult to you does he? Look how many reviews you have for ripping people off trying to charge their kids adult prices. Back to china and see if you get away with it over there. Food is all low quality and the customer service is matched in quality. Go Bolton Chinese buffet. Nice polite staff and they dont rip kids as adult prices and they also dont charge you £5 a plate for leaving a tiny bit. This place wont last I can assure you. Can only imagine whats going on in the back when youve got scrubbers like this running the place. So glad I got up and walked out. Scammers. Bye!

Yesterday was my second time visiting this Chinese dentist our Liverpool one being closed down, I felt trusted before I even sat down, my partner asked for the chocolate fudge cake to be warmed up and the staff was reluctant to do this? Food wasn’t very nice, all tasted the same, beef wasn’t beef’s at all not even the same colours, , the sweetcorn soup needed sweetcorn also tasted weird and , only 3 dishes I tried were ok but the food is tiny portions but glad of that as the food wasn’t nice, also if you don’t eat everything you are served they charge £5 per dish left

Great spot for quick fresh Chinese food , easy to order . Just download the app scan the code for your table and start ordering . The little waiter robots bring the food to your table which the kids love ! We ate plenty for what we paid and there was a pretty good choice at lunch time . 2 adults and a child ate on our visit and there was more than enough . We ordered 3 starters to begin , and once they were brought to us we ordered 3. More as they are small portions . We did the same with our mains and deserts . The human waiters take your drink orders 🤣 think it cost between £30 and £40 all together ? The decor is lovely and the place is nice and clean . The toilets are very clean also . Lovely spot to eat out with family . More choice in the evenings for extra charge :)

We went here this evening as a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 children aged between 7-13. One of them is a fussy eater but she was quite happy with the chicken nuggets, chips and onion rings. The rest of us enjoyed a variety of dishes and not one bit of food was wasted. The waitresses pre-warn you at the start that if there are any dishes wasted there will be a charge for that but if you limit what you order on the app each time, this isn't a problem. Well worth the money and the staff went out of their way to explain how to use the app and sort any issues out efficiently. We will definitely be returning again soon..the food was hot, fresh and really tasty. 10 out of 10 from us

To say I’m totally devastated that I experienced a lack of understanding is an understatement We was a family of 10! In our party was 6 adults (over 18) and 4 children. The children were 13,9,9,3! I explained as we arrived the 9 and the 3 year old would not eat but literally pick of an adults plate meaning they would eat no more that a small amount of fries and a couple of prawn crackers as they weren’t able to eat the food on offer! This was agreed that we would not pay for these 2 children! Our waitress then explained if they ate anything they would be charged! We left as the 2 children in question would not eat £14.99 worth of food but the restaurant was happy to loose 8 people paying a bill of over £250 (minimum) not including drinks, because they would not allow two fussy eaters the benefit of picking of mums plate! There was also a 13 year old that was about to pay adult prices because she went beyond the height of your chart! SHES A CHILD… that is ridiculous This is not a family focused restaurant and place I will never visit again because I’m disappointed that you don’t think of families! I will never recommend you to anyone asking for suggestions as I don’t want anyone to be disappointed of my recommendations, you should be ashamed of yourself!

A Fantastic Dining Experience with Exceptional Service! I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Chinese buffet restaurant, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food selection was impressive, with a wide variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. Everything from the perfectly seasoned stir-fry to the crispy spring rolls and savory dumplings was top-notch. The sushi bar was also a great touch, offering fresh and beautifully prepared rolls. What truly made the evening special, however, was the outstanding service from our waitress, Tina. She was incredibly attentive, always ensuring our drinks were full and that we had everything we needed. Her warm and friendly demeanor made us feel genuinely welcomed, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Tina went above and beyond to provide excellent service, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Booked a table for 2, a week in advance. Waited 10 minutes to be seated at a tiny table shoved against a wall in a corner, it wasn't big enough to fit more than 2 plates on. There were larger tables next to us that were empty or emptying, that other couples had been sitting. When we asked if we could move to one of those (twice), we were told that larger groups had booked those, this was a blatant lie as the staff just couldn't be bothered to move us, other couples then filled the tables we asked to be moved to. We felt mistreated and isolated, it also had a clinical atmosphere, with signs everywhere, threatening to charge you extra for not cleaning your plate. We didn't wait for the food, we just paid for the drinks and left, will never return again. Thankfully we found a much nicer restaurant so our evening was not completely ruined.

We have visited TCB Dining in Bury multiple times, and every single visit has been a delight! The service is always impeccable, with polite and attentive staff who are never far away if you need assistance. The food is consistently delicious, packed with flavour, and arrives quickly thanks to the amazing robot servers – a brilliant touch that makes the dining experience even more exciting! Ordering is incredibly simple – just log into the app, select your dishes, and before long, the robot arrives with your food. If you're new to the process, the staff are more than happy to guide you through it, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. Some of my absolute favourite dishes here include: 🔥 Salt & Pepper Ribs – full of flavour and cooked to perfection. 🍢 Chicken Satay Skewers – beautifully grilled with a rich peanut sauce. 🦐 Prawn Toast – crispy, golden, and utterly moreish. 🥟 Sui Bao & Sui Mei – delicate, fresh, and packed with authentic taste. 🍗 Salt & Pepper Chicken Balls – crunchy, spicy, and incredibly tasty! The drinks are also worth mentioning – the alcoholic measures are generous, giving great value for money. The only small critique I have is that I requested a little wasabi for dipping, and while a staff member kindly said they would get some for me, unfortunately, they never returned to the table. It wasn’t a major issue, but a little follow-up would have been appreciated. If there’s one thing I’d love to see in the future, it would be a wider cocktail selection. As cocktail enthusiasts, we were hoping for more variety, but currently, TCB only offers two types. Introducing more options – perhaps with a 2-for-£15 deal – would be a fantastic addition! Overall, we absolutely love TCB Dining and will definitely be back again soon. It’s a fantastic place for amazing food, great service, and a unique dining experience. If you haven’t been yet, we highly recommend checking it out!

First time visitors this evening at TCB and wasn’t sure what to expect. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, especially to newbies like our group. We were instructed on ow to order and it was really simple. The food is delivered by robots which was so cool. The portions are small which is good, you order 3 at a time so as not to be greedy and get over full. It is a really good set up. The food tasted good and there were so many options, even for a vegetarian. We will definitely be back.

Very overpriced, but a fun novelty to try out. The restaurant looks nice and the staff were nice. The food comes promptly and is presented nicely, the robots actually seem to be a good option for this style of 'order buffet' restaurant. You should provide some kind of tablets with the software installed though, Customers absoutly should not have to mess around with QR codes on their own phones, I think for a restaurant charging £28pp this is unacceptable. This brings me to the food quality, nobody expects great quality from a Chinese buffet fair enough but the food is simply not good enough to justify evening prices, you can probably find half the dishes at Iceland. For £28pp the food needs to be better, tablets should be provided and a few little things should be improved, such as providing various sauces on the table. Also some things just feel cheeky, stating you will charge £5 for food waste could lead people to feeling like they have to eat a dish they don't even like the taste of, when the whole point of a buffet is to try new things. Tap water should also be an option on the app, this has obviously been excluded to make people buy the bottled water.

The Chinese Buffet that’s not actually a buffet… Bang average and over priced. Went here for somewhere to go before heading to the cinema. Had around 90 minutes so thought in buffet, few courses serve yourself no need to wait for waiters service happy days. Instead these have tried to do things differently with robots which take forever to serve. Food was ok. Portion sizes tiny and limited on what you can order (number of dishes) meant that in order to have a decent meal, we ended up being late to the cinema as we were only able to have two rounds of food in the 90 minutes. Can see the attraction but in reality, poor and makes it expensive at £28-£30 per person.

We've visited here at least 3 times now, and always had a very positive experience, with the staff, food quality and the ordering and delivering of our meals by tech. The idea of using an app to order, not the waiting staff, took a lot of getting used to, as we don't even order takeaways by app, but staff were helpful in teaching us to do it ourselves. It is a very different experience from any other restaurant we've been to. My husband uses a wheelchair, and was welcomed and made plenty of room for. There are two small lifts near this 1st floor restaurant for easy access. Our young grandchildren are fascinated by the idea of robots bringing their food. It does need some care to make sure not to obstruct a robot's path, but they generally stop and wait if you happen to be where they want to go. The portions were surprisingly small at first glance, compared to a takeaway, but I found that I filled up quite quickly on them, and they were nicely cooked and flavoured. Every person can have their own copy of the app, and that puts their own name on each plate ordered, with the little tickets accompanying them being very handy for identifying who's ordered what. In just three visits we've learned to pace what and when we order, and that's created an even better experience for us. Pacing the ordering also means we don't end up with leftover plates for which there is a charge. The price appears steep if you only have 2 or 3 items, but as you break it across paced eating of around 12-15 items, it works out much more comparable to other restaurants. Also, there can be a very reasonable time limit on how long you stay. We've not visited during such peak times, however. We're looking forwards to our next visit.

5* staff and service. The owners go above and beyond for us. They also make our children feel more than welcome which is much appreciated. We've visited a few time now and the children are always fascinated by the robots which is a lovely distraction. Our children are fussy eaters, but being served by robots has persuaded them to at least try a few of the dishes and discover more food that liked, always a bonus! All the serving staff are always lovely and respectful. 5/5 would recommend and we hope to visit again soon!

Everything was miss leading its not a buffet as the say it is, you have to order from a menu on a app and robots bring it, the food comes to you cold. You also are limited to what you order so by the time the second part of the order comes the firdt part is cold and not worth eating and the manager was absolutely very rude and made the whole experience horrible. The system messed up our order and the manager tried to blame us for the problem then tried embarrassing us in front of the whole restaurant plus my family and children that were at table and also leaning and shouting over the food we were suppose to eat. Never ever will come back here again. Not worth spending all that money for a horrible experience completely ruined my day.

Located upstairs at the front of the shopping centre this clean large restaurant is one of the few buffet type around, we travelled 40 mins. Open feel with tables not too close so other diners didn`t impede. All ordering is done via phone which works well after you download the app, each person orders max three dishes at once. Each dish is a nice taster size ( Two pancakes and enough duck is one) Robots are loaded up in the kitchen, and your hot food is quickly delivered, short wait from ordering via app. There are a variety of dishes and flavours, you can`t be expected to like every one, no problem, just order something else! There`s enough choice. Deserts are nice, plenty of choice. All in all an enjoyable experience, the only negative that stood out? No hot water in the toilets.

Food wasn’t great at all and that the main part of going for a Chinese, the food and welcoming friendly people serving it and adding to the experience, not a robot.

First of all, this is our first time here. We came in got told to order from the app etc etc and that there will be £5 charge if there are food getting wasted and theyre very strict on this. I dont like wasting food but if lets say the food is too salty or just not up to our liking then how can we eat that? They expect you to eat everything. So we then proceeded with ordering our main starters and soups from the app and the MANAGER KEN came to our table screaming that we ordered a lot and warned us about the £5 charge. We didnt mind him telling us that however its the way he approached us. We felt like he was verbally attacking us for ordering a lot of food. For him to be aggressive and screaming infront of the kids as well is just inappropriate. Other people are nice just not the MANAGER SPECIFICALLY THE MANAGER NAMED KEN. Ruined the little kids birthday. Not coming back here and wont recommend it to anyone. However the other staff were perfectly hospitable towards us- never got to ask the these two for their name but they were both phenomenal with how they swiftly handled the situation once the manager ran off. Me and friends went today, I thought it was amazing. I love the whole atmosphere. The robots are a great idea, so fun. The staff are so nice, customer service here is fantastic. They make sure as you go in that you have no allergies. I enjoyed the food. They do ask you eat all your food you order or there is a fee, which I agree with. It lowers the amount people waste. We didn’t have that issue, the food was too delicious. All round great day for us. Will 100% be going back

My partner and I visited TCB Chinese buffet on 31/10/24, we had a great night, the food was absolutely fine, and we loved the way our food was brought out to us...the waitress Rachel was probably one of the most nicest and polite waitresses we've ever had, she's an absolute credit to TCB, we'll definitely be coming back, with the kids in tow next time ☺️☺️

Giving 1 star because I have to. Food was cold but it was nice, However, this is not a family friendly resturant. Do not take young children or even better just don't go. A notice was out on our table that wastage will be charged at £5 per item, which wasn't clear if this was if you left a bit on the plate or if this was for a full plate. I'm all for not wasting but does put a bit of pressure on the meal or make you feel like you can't try new things in case you don't like it. A man, maybe the manager? Came to us and explained that our 14 month old dropping a bit of food is unacceptable and can be charged £5. This made the whole experience uncomfortable and unpleasant. We felt feeling sickly full due to Pressure even though we didn't order alot. At the end the waitress mentioned we can press a button to give a tip, she signed as we did not leave one, with such a bad experience who would?

This is my 2nd time dining here, the 1st time was a lunch experience, this time was an evening experience with my little lad. Don't get me wrong the service was great however the food was luke warm at best, the food came at different times ordered nuggets and chips for my 4 year old, I got the chips followed by the nuggets 10 minutes after. Every dish was 2 mins from being stone cold that was served this evening the fizzy drinks was flat and extremely watered down the deserts couldn't of been more (stale) or dry if they tried however the vanilla cheesecake was okay. The robot service and the staff was good however the food was terrible over £80 for 2 adults and a 4 Yr old and can't get get warm food. Will not be returning at all! Utter disappointment for myself and my child.

Took the grandchildren for a treat after the cinema ,because they wanted to see the robots serving you It was an amazing experience, you order at the table and a robot fetches your food to the table for you , the food was amazing and served to your table quite quickly ,even the grandchildren tried different things , Very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful as we didn't know how to order will be going back for sure

Without the gimmicks of the robot I may have rated this restaurant as lower. Despite an empty restaurant we were basically chased to vacate our table - no where did it say how much time you have a table for. The food ranged from average to below average. The robots were fun in an empty restaurant but can see how it wouldn’t work that well in a busy one. Below average food and hospitality - not good at all!

The place was great, only feedback I have is about the fact that I ordered something, and then waited 20 minutes for it to come, the order went through fine, and then went to the front desk to ask where it was and the staff member told me it was out of stock, apart from that bit, it was a great place to experience. PLEASE AVOID wow but not in good way, looked clean , had some really sorry to say it dopy staff and the old gimmick robots that are pointless when anyone can pick the food up you ordered which must happened about 6 times your only aloud 12 things at a time and the gimmick robots bring it well to everyone if you sitting at the back of the restaurant like we was you may think 12 is allot, no........... the size of the plates are as small as a tea cup and I'm not exaggerating i promise you small for even a toddler I ordered rice 6 times and noddle's 3 times and we was there for an hour they never come as i think other people just take them before the robots bring them to the table I told the 3 real humans that was there they just said it will come soon - never did maybe get rid of the robots and pay some human staff to get the food people order to the right people , its was awful i wouldn't eat there for free it was that bad i wouldn't waste your money, anyone saying its nice it must be a fake account or they've never eat Chinese before

After seeing brilliant reviews I wanted to give this place a try for a while and I was VERY disappointed. The food was served on robots which is why I wanted to go to try the experience. The food was freezing when it got to the table, my food didn’t arrive at one point & when putting 6 dishes in only one would come out and we waited at one time for 10 minutes for the rest. The robots was not clean and the trays the food was on was also dirty with old food on them. Out of 4 staff we spoke to only 1 was polite, the rest had not an ounce of good customer service skills. I would never return and I honestly would advise anybody to not waste their money!

Absolutely loved this evening. Not been here in over 10years and it has changed for the better. The staff were warm, inviting and very friendly. Lovely atmosphere beautiful restaurant not to mention your served by super cute robots! The only couple of negatives id give would be the choice of dishes wasn't as good as I thought. But the quality of food and portion sizes were good considering you can order as many as you like. The app is really easy to use and the staff were great in explaining how to use it. It was £25 just for me to eat but I got my plenty full. I'll be honest I struggled walking out because of how full I was 😅

This has to be the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to without doubt, The soup was like water and had what I only can describe as spam init and stupidly spicey, The duck was like stuffing it was that stick, The sweet and sour was warm at best and tasted like vodka it was vile, I asked a meber of staff if he eat there to which he did not reply and went red and looked ashamed, Lastly the crispy shredded chilli beef looked like mice droppings The food was out to your table within a minute and was cold In summary DO NOT GO ITS HURRENDOS

Came into the restaurant for lunch and was one of the first customers to arrive. Food was spot on and I received the best service what I have ever experienced in my whole life from Wiktoria who greeted me on arrival but also made it clear how to order, she also made sure that everything ran smoothly and the service was top notch. Honestly unsure why this place has so many bad reviews! Went today for lunch and it was lovely, we were seated quickly, everything was explained to us and we got to ordering our first dishes. I think it’s a good idea that you can’t help yourself as so much goes to waste, the portions were good and everything we ordered as a group of 5 (3 adults, 2 children) was lovely! We got a huge selection of different items from the menu, and the kids LOVED the robots bringing the food to the table, overall it was a lovely experience and we will definitely be visiting again!

what a fun dining experience at TCB Bury ! the staff were great, the robots were hilarious and the food was top notch! no it’s not the cheapest dining in peak times BUT it’s all you can eat, you can order as many courses as you like - 3 per person at a time & my son had 19 courses in total 🤣 we had a fab time and we all left very full and happy! i don’t know why there are bad reviews for this place it’s really great. we will definitely make this a regular dining spot. yum yum

First time visiting on Saturday evening 3rd August. Was a little apprentice at first about how to order from the app. The staff were brilliant and shown me exactly what to do and in the end found it very simple. The food was great, not too big a portion but ideal for trying different food, which we loved. We tried Golden Fish for the first time this evening. The food was amazing. We have tried a few Chinese takeaways in and around Bury for the past couple of months trying to find a good one. No need to look any further we have found our forever Chinese. The food was sensational. The service was exceptional. What more can I say….. perfect! If you’re reading these reviews to see if you should order from this takeaway, I suggest you order right away. You won’t be disappointed!!
