We got chips & curry sauce - piping hot and tasty!

i waited 1hr and 35mins for the food to arrive when it did it was cold the beef was like leather the ribs were mire fat than meat and had no flavour. i wont be ordering from here again.

The food was awful.Been going there for years will not go again.Home delivery 8/5/24 chicken curry that was all onions.Fish & chips need the oil changing awful.It all went in the dustbin.

Shocking delivery, called to be told 5 minutes then get a call back to say order not even out. 50 minutes later we have food.

The first and only time we were informed that this outlet was unable to provide the burger we'd ordered was by a handwritten note attached to the bag, advising us they'd made JustEat aware and that we should contact customer services to refund that element. There was no phone call, no app message, no email, just an order arrive incomplete. The food that did arrive - just about on time - was tasty and in good portion size. Good food, appalling communication.

This used to be my favourite place but something has changed this year. The food is not as good and the chicken burger, which used to be outstanding was so overcooked as to be practically inedible as well as having cheese added which was neither advised nor wanted. Really disappointed

Used to go to this chippy at least three times per week before the price rises. The prices remained not too bad up until not long ago, but now it's gone ridiculous. Not only have the prices gone through the roof, they are obviously making the portions smaller as well. Just got one lot of large chips and couldn't believe it when I got home and unwrapped them to find a tiny pile of tiny chips.not looked more like the scraps that you might throw away than one large lot of chips. £1.70 for gravy!!! Who on earth is willing to spend that for a spoon full of gravy? As for the weekend takeaway which was always the more expensive stuff on the menu.....no chance now. Ho Fat have lost my family's custom for good. I would rather eat beans on toast and let these price hikes either close the chippys down or force the prices back to what they should be. Good luck Ho Fat, you will need it with your new prices and smaller portions.

Ho Fat is a firm favourite with us. The special fried rice dish is recommended as to the soups crispy duck pancakes spring rolls prawn crackers and curry sauce. The English dishes are v good too- the chips are always tasty. Pleasant prompt service. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely shocking service. Rang to see where my order was which was already 15 minutes late and they cancelled my order as they were busy. Stay away

Waited 2 hours for a delivery. Called to see where it was and they said they were very busy. Wanted the food delivered within the next 30 mins or I would cancel. The lady on the phone was rude and said shall I cancel it’s not been started. Food eventually came ….salt and pepper chips soggy and full of grease, sweet and sour chicken no sauce crispy salt and pepper combo was a teeth breaker. Took food back for a refund. Absolutely disgusting and the lady dint even say a single word. Would NOT recommend

Popped in for takeaway on bank holiday Monday, ordered the meal for 1, amazing tasty hot and sour soup, followed by spring roles,best beef and black bean sauce in prestwich, egg fried rice cooked to perfection,this meal was under £9, great value, thankyou, I be back.

The service is consistently rapid, lovely ambience, welcoming staff. Will come back again when I arrive nearby.

Horrendous service. Ordered online and without any option to cancel 40 minutes was added to delivery time. When delivered a main meal was missing. Took 15 minutes to get through on the phone and when I eventually got to speak with someone she denied that I had ordered or paid for the item even though I had the confirmation email. I agreed to the item being sent out at a time cost of 30 mins so we all waited. After 45 minutes I phoned again and after her yet again having a deplorable attitude it turns out it had been sent to the wrong address. She was very defensive and argumentative and said she would send a driver with the £5.70. I explained that wasn’t really good enough as essentially the whole £45 order was ruined but she was adamant and that was the end of it, she then put the poor driver on the phone and off she went. I will NEVER order here again but have to say the driver, Javid, was absolutely lovely, completely understood where I was coming from and even came round with the £5.70 himself. He should be running the place not the nowty old hag that does and Both reviews and service would be much better.

Not the best Chinese but not the worse either, salt and pepper chips and salt and peper chicken have barely any seasoning or flavour. Although my shredded beef was alright.

Never fails to deliver a delicious meal, friendly service and not expensive

Been a customer here for 4 years. When they have a problem with delivery they take your order and say nothing. 2 hours later you ring back and they say i have only one driver. They could tell you that when you ordered but instead they take your order and pretend all us fine and say nothing. Food is nice but they are unreliable and dont tell you they cant deliver ontime or even for several hours

Great food a tad expensive If you want a friendly service & good food then give them a try. This is only 1 of a few Chinese takeaways I will use in the area. Staff very helpful & pleasant.

Can I rate this place 0/5?! Awful service!!!! And we found chunks of prawn in our BEEF fried rice?! Considering my mother is allergic to shell fish this was a MASSIVE issue! Called back the restaurant and ask to speak directly to the manager, the woman who answered the phone said she was the manager and asked the issue, we explained the clear allegen issue explaining how dangerous it was and queried if pans were being washed at least or just reused? The woman clearly wasn’t arsed, she spoke to someone in Chinese down the phone and then just advised us they cannot cook dishes separately?! Sorry what?! When fish is a massive allergy issue to so many people they are clearly not arsed about possibly killing someone!!! Ok maybe being extreme but considering the staff were so rude and dismissive and just advised us “if she’s not been ill before she’ll be fine since we always cook this way”!!!! It was our first and DEFINITELY last time using this takeaway!

The reason we tried this was our normal Chinese take away was closed..never again will I use this place, the meat was so processed, the ribs were dry and tasteless the seaweed was full of sugar and tasted awful. The portions were very small.. over expensive avoid avoid avoid...

Food here is lovely. All freshly cooked. They are on just eat and they also have their own website you can order from. Delivery service is always busy. Would recommend the salt and pepper chips absolutely yummy.

I have a gluten intolerance and they said all their food contained flour and there was nothing on their menu I could eat. I had to walk out and go somewhere else entirely.

Absolutely shocking service, made an order worth £40.00 food was actually quite good but the Chicken Fried Rice was not delivered. When we called to discuss the lady that answered was very rude and questioned our honesty. Responses such as "Listen love, you won't believe how many people try it!" Beyond belief, chiefs great, customer service and resolution disgusting!!!!

A decent high street take away with a very good selection of oriental dishes, at a fair price. Not everything on the menu is amazing, however most of the dishes that I have tried have been very fresh and tasty. If you are collecting your meal, there is usually a free parking space within a few seconds walk of the take away. Ho Fat has a new website, which is easy to use. Delivery is no more than £1, and it is usually on time. Customer service is good and so is the food. Definitely worth a try.
