I love it when uptown disco's have a Saturday night party night at the chequers.. Come down for a great night.

Came here for Sunday lunch with my family after a recommendation as they have a new menu on offer. The food was absolutely delicious! Lovely friendly service, will definitely be returning 😊

Came with my family on Sunday for a roast dinner , service was quick and the food was gorgeous! The best roast I have ever had, including the vegetarian option - all of it was perfect 😍 They also had a bouncy castle which the kids loved! We will be coming back!

Great place, really os the place to be on a Saturday Night, can't wait for them.to bring food in. Sunday entertainment is great! And doing great stuff for the community!

Visited the checkers, Sunday and a meal for two. Unfortunately the roast beef which was sirloin. Steak was tough and the meal was cold. Didn’t complain as I was on a date. Never go back very expensive for what it is.. It’s a shame they don’t put placemats down because when I was trying to cut the meat plate was sliding across the table..

Traditional pub with a range of beers and cocktails on tap. I've always found that staff are really welcoming and friendly despite a slight locals/regular vibe. Large beer garden. Clean toilets.

Didn't try th food so I wouldn't know but full of friendly people and the staff are great with the customers and very engaging. The garden is relaxing to sit in and quite sizable but arranged in a way so that is social all in all I would recommend for a drink but not for a busy weekend night for those wanting a more dance kinda vibe.

The chequers have just reintroduced food..I was the 1st person to order on the menu....I had a burger, but I have to say it was fantastic....the new chef's there have a great choice of food to meet everyones needs. I would seriously recommend this pub for either a quick bite or a more formal meal. Please try it.

It would have been 5stars if the disco wasn't there, with only a dozen punters the disco wasn't necessary, it would have been a lot more relaxed. But great service from the bar staff.

Comfortable environment and very friendly staff. Food was lovely and well priced. As a night out location it is cozy and has a good vibe.

Really lovely outdoor space and a friendly welcome. We called for just drinks with a friend today and having glimpsed the menu we decided to eat too. Really tasty, I'm glad we stayed and we will be back. 🙂

Given circumstance currently, I think the landlord/management could take significant steps to make a bit more social distance for small groups, it really was like a free for all and felt very uncomfortable many folks looking/sounding worse for wear , too much to drink and getting a bit clueless unfortunately

It was ok but very young and so busy it takes 20 minutes to get a drink

W ubogim w atrakcje Harlow ten PUB/dyskoteka robi calkiem dobre wrazenie. Szybka i mila obsluga, ceny nie zwalaja z nog a na dodatek chetni moga potupac noga w rytm fajnej muzyki. Jedyny minus to przestrzen. Jest ciasnawo a przez to rowniez bardzo goraco. Generalnie warto odwiedzic i przekonac sie samemu.

A pub that plays very very loud dance music, and is known in the area for trouble. It certainly seems to have it's fair share of fights. One recently made it in the news as it was so violent.

Football pub, rather than food.

Fantastic place ♥️ girls behind the bar are soooo nice and polite. Security guys are very handsome. We did have a great party.

Not a bad boozer if u like kids and loud music. Always get served quick aswell

£13 for one container with 8 bits of grisly chicken and some soggy bread. A total waste of money I have had a £6 kebab that was a million times better.

My cousin had there wedding reception here recently and i have to say service wAs fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to cater for all our needs. Fantastic little friendly place. Garden grill provided some fantastic food too. Would definitely go again

Fantastic idea incorporating the kebab shop on the back of the pub in the beer garden. Really nice.

Walked in. Looked for some real ales. Couldn't see any. Asked the girl behind the bar if they had any ales. "What's ale" she asked. "Never mind", I said and walked out.

No toilet seat in the gents. Obviously don't care about their patrons. Give it a miss.

Had a tuna baguette from here and it was a bad experience! was charged £5 so would of expected something a litlle better than French bread that had been thinly spread with Tesco's sandwich filler.I have only rated it one star because this app doesn't let you rate zero stars.
