Fabulous hidden gem in Chelsea! The food was delicious throughout both the starters and main and was all reasonably priced. The atmosphere was perfect for our anniversary dinner—intimate and romantic! The owner (or manager?) was a super lovely guy. Don't miss out on this place!

Small restaurant in a cellar … far from the busy loudy London atmosphere… the food is great the owner is sympathetic and you just enjoy the whole evening ….

As others have said in their reviews, the Chelsea Cellar is a real find. 4 of us - adult visitors to London for a couple of days - dined there on a Friday evening and were really impressed with it. It is a small and intimate space, so without the noisy hordes of diners which are are a feature elsewhere. The cuisine is Italian and there is a wide range of delicious dishes on the menu. The owners are attentive without being intrusive, and the prices for both food and wine are very reasonable and represent excellent value. We really enjoyed our visit and our only regret was not being in town for long enough to allow a second visit. Highly recommended!

Had a nice early dinner on Friday night. Pasta and vegetarian dishes were great. Wines also good. It was quite, probably because the weather was good.

Visiting London as tourists staying in Chelsea, found this place on internet - good recent reviews so took a chance. My daughter and I were celebrating a belated birthday and I wanted something special… we weren’t disappointed. The food, ambience, service, owners, drinks…. everything was superb. We cannot recommend this place enough. We would like to be local and be a regular! Hopefully we will return again one day.

We have not been here since before Covid and it was one of our favourites. It still is excellent and the menu is limited but great. Food, service, wines & ambiance all 5 ⭐️

Perfect Italian food with friendly, efficient service. We chose to eat in the cosy restaurant, there are also outside tables. I had burrata with tapenade and anchovies to start with which was completely delicious. I don't often have pasta but then chose the beef ragu with pappardelle which was wonderful, with the ideal deep rich flavour. My friend spoke highly of the tuna. We both had a very large glass of Primitivo and the total bill was just over £30 each, a bargain for the area.

Me and my partner visited this location for a birthday dinner. I contacted the restaurant in the weeks prior to our arrival to check to see if we could make small adjustments to a certain menu item to cater for my partners needs(swap Duck for Chicken). The adjustments were agreed and the manager was more than happy to cater for our request. When we got the restaurant the staff had no idea what we was talking about. After 10 minutes of the staff speaking to the chef they confirmed they could not cater for our request. By this point we already had drinks on the table and the ‘table bread’. We had not touched the drinks as we established there was no other menu item my parter would eat. We then agreed to move on and go elsewhere. The manager then came running down the stairs and insisted they could change the meat but it wouldn’t be as nice. We still insisted on leaving. They then brought over a bill containing the items we had not touched and the bread. The restaurant itself looked amazing and the food smelt great. It was just a big let down to find out prior agreements could not be met.

Booked a table for our anniversary and from the get go the whole night was memorable. Decor is lovely, especially with all the candles. The starter pizzas were so fresh and delicious and the mains were flavour packed. The night was also topped off with amazing service from Tim, keeping us entertained and never a dry glass in sight! We booked this restaurant after reading some good reviews and having experienced it for ourselves we weren't disappointed. The Chelsea Cellar is small, but not overcrowded and has as great atmosphere. Our starters were all delicious and ones that we wouldn't ordinarily choose. With each of us being vegetarian, there wasn't a huge selection of mains, but we all went for the Gnocchi (two veggie options to choose from) My son, who is a fussy eater, loved his dish and both my husband and I really enjoyed ours too. As all the other courses had been so good, we couldnt turn down the opportunity to sample the deserts. Again these were superb. This is a lovely friendly place to dine and I would definitely return next time I'm in the area.

I was there with a friend last friday night for the first time. I love wine bars and restaurants in general but this was something special. We walked down the stairs to this amazing venue with a cozy and a warm atmosphere.
