Lovely pub. Shame there wasn't more people there for the live band - which was brilliant. Big outside area and good atmosphere. There is a bus stop just outside the pub which makes it easy access from churchdown, cheltenham and gloucester.

We really like the cheeserollers! The team do an amazing job making everyone feel welcome. The food tastes good and portion sizes are brill. I especially like the Sunday roasts! They’ve had some really well run family fun days that my toddler loves.

Very loud table next door all of the occupants swore very explicitly which was not pleasant to hear, we ate quickly and left sharply we won't be returning

The beef Sunday roast was very nice. Both the Kate & Sydney and Steak & Stilton pies also went down a treat. The Sunday roast upgrade, for the pies was a welcome option. All the food was piping hot when it was served. All desserts were excellent, especially the chocolate fudge cake. The staff were very friendly Overall, a really pleasant meal and we look forward to returning soon, next time we are down from Cheshire.

Have to give huge praise first of all to your waiter (Karl I believe) . We had a family meal with you last night, 6 of us. The pub was quite busy, and despite being on his own , his service was brilliant. Nothing too much trouble and very polite. He's a credit to you! The food was well cooked and very tasty, all 6 plates cleared and the puddings were also quickly devoured. I live up near Manchester, but will definitely come back again next time we are visiting. 😊

Place was not too well looked after. Springs broken from 2 rather worn chairs and hanging loose. Seated in a ‘kitcheny’ area with no atmosphere when we could have been more comfortable nearer the bar. Not many customers even though it was only 8pm. Drinks and food were OK, but portions small even though said ‘large cod’ on the specials bar. Limited variety of dishes: mainly pizzas and ‘Moo’ pies! OK for locals maybe but not in retrospect not for us. Maybe is was too near kitchen closure at 8pm.

Visited today for the first time in a long time for a light lunch with my Mum. Easy to park. Guy who served us was very friendly, polite and attentive. Good deal on lunch at the moment. £7 for one course. Had two meals and two drinks for about £20. We went early (12.15pm) so it was quite quiet when we arrived but livened up later on. Also found out its dog friendly so will definitely return in future. Thanks

Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Being dog friendly too is a massive plus as I have 2 German shepards and they are also welcome too. Always plenty going on and one of the only pubs locally to have a pool table.

Very few customers for a Friday night. Beers well kept. Staff friendly. Downside- Nobody was eating when we visited. Little atmosphere. One end of the bar had cutlery trays, two crumpled tea towels and a bottle of antibacterial spray left out for the whole of our visit. The pub needs an identity, it's trying to be a locals pub, dog friendly pub and an eatery. Most people don't want to eat with dogs everywhere. The pool table is poorly sited and also puts people off eating close by. Management need to re-think to get the clientele that their hard work and the pub deserves.

Came for the feed the family for £20 night. Had the steak and ale pie. Was really nice food and a decent portion size. Wifebhad the same and the kids had sausage and chips and burger and chips which they both enjoyed. Will definitely be back. Thanks guy.

Called in today for Lunch, and we were first customers of the day to order food, we know this because the chips were hot and cooked perfectly, in short time frame from walking in to having food on table. The Landlord greeted us, saw us to a table and had our drinks order quickly and efficiently. Excellent and reasonably priced food, good service and clean pub. Will be back!

Lovley food great service 😋 the baguette could of been toasted a bit otherwise Lovley went into pub from garden entrance needs to be smarter like tidying up no baby chair in middle of room 😜 seating people when booked next to wall paper falling off use a better location for first time customers table decorations not working it so take away waiting staff needs to be smarter dressed have been in the hospitality industry for 35 years can do better on a little budget 😀

A pub with a lot of character. A good place to stop for something to eat if you have just played Cotswold's Hills Golf Course.

Went there for a skittles event. There was a good spread put on for the buffet.

Good size car park at the rear. Beer was good ( not cheap, but they do have a happy hour.) Pool table can get a bit crowded at times. Nice to sit outside and relax after work.

This is a nice place situated on the main Road on the A46 between Gloucester and Cheltenham. Also bring some you from Stroud, Brockworth.. There is plenty of parking at the back of the place the road to carpark is bit tight but is ok. There is plenty of seating inside and outside with a lovely big garden and big enough play area for children.. Inside is really lovely clean and tidy, nicely decorated.. Staff friendly and welcoming. Dogs are welcome and even have treats on bar.. There is a pool table. We didn't have food. This is convenient for a nice stop and reasonably priced.. Definitely go again and recommend

Really like this place. Shaun and Mary have made great changes to pub in a short period of time. Menu recently changed and I found more vegetarian options available than in other pubs.

Stopped in for a few pints and to meet my friends before the rugby. Thatchers Haze on tap and very friendly polite and helpful staff. Beer garden out the back looks like it'll be a great place to spend sunny afternoons/evenings. Looking forward to returning back to try the food options in the future.

Love the massive garden area, the drinks selection is fantastic (just added Thatchers Haze), and food is top notch. I've had a couple of lovely burgers but they've also added a superb pizza menu now too! Highly recommend.

Went for Mother's Day Sunday lunch. Could not fault the service or food. Lots of extra gravy too. Food was hot and served on a warm plate :-)

We used to use this put regularly but hadn't been in for quite a while. Sadly to say the place has gone downhill now full of rowdy people swearing and shouting over eachother some of the eating tablets have been replaced with a pool table Food just about average Bar staff had no control and didn't know much about the drinks they're selling

Great local pub now under new management. I had my 60th Birthday bash there last week and Shaun, Mary and the team did us proud with a fabulous buffet in their function room. We were really impressed with the range of drinks (especially the real ales). All the staff were really friendly and I'm certainly going to make this my regular watering hole. Situated on the A46, it not only has a large car park at the really (accessed off Farm Lane) but has a bus stop right outside.

Popped in for a drink. We were made welcome. Didn't eat and as it was lunchtime, not many people were there. Enjoyed it nevertheless.

Lovely staff, but the place seemed a little bit run down from when I used to visit years ago. The pub seems to be going through a transitional period, as they were advertising for a new Publican. Nice garden to rear of the pub &;good sized garden.

Not a local pub, and never been here before. Attendance was for a function. Decent Guinness and friendly chatty staff. Overall experience was fine...

Average kind of pub. Few beers on tap and lots of cider to try. Food was bland and very beige, not unpleasant but just dull. Barman was very good, engaging, friendly and made an effort to greet and chat with everyone. Clean and modern, but uninspiring.

Stopped at the pub after a Saturday of work. Pints were ice cold, staff was friendly and offered me a taste of some beers before I made my purchase. It's quiet, clean and has a nice outdoor section with plenty of seating available.

Popped in for a spot of lunch and have to say very disappointed, for a £5.95 starter we got 4 very small mozzarella sticks. Main wasn't better as I got a small burnt piece of lasagne with obviously reheated chips which were crunchy (and most were left). Left £45 down feeling distinctly ripped off.

Absolutely brilliant, couldn't have enjoyed it more, not only was the food delicious the service was top notch. We have already decided when we are going again. They also do small plates which is ideal for those with smaller appetites, most enjoyable!

Great atmosphere and attentive staff. Baguette was really tasty, but we were let down by the curry. Seemed like a small portion of a microwave meal. Bill seemed quite high, so drinks must have been around £9 for a coke and a cider! Which is a shame as the food was so reasonably priced. Overall willing to give it another go, the food seems to be hit and miss but we'll have to try again and see if it was a one off. There's a lot to admire about this cosy local pub so I have high hopes.

Ate here on Tuesday evening before the quiz & was very disappointed with the home made pie. It was steak & ale and there were 3 or 4 very small pieces of meat in a lot of pastry and not much else! The chips were good but very expensive for what it was ☹
