Covid rules don’t apply! Gone down hill slightly. Gents toilets a puddle of pee, NEVER checked or cleaned! No face coverings by customers or staff, no one challenged. Asked if youve checked in on the app but regulars not asked. Table service only unless your a regular when your allowed to stand and order at the bar. One rule for regulars who seem to either have bladder problems or need the toilets every 10mins for drugs? and staff in on it? Bring back the old owner!

Went across to have a last minute drink at 9.30 pm to be barred by someone saying the bar was closed to any body new. There were a lot of teenagers appearing drunk and abusive, so there might have been a problem there.

Solo me gustaría decir lo bueno que es este pub, mis amigos y yo fuimos allí el viernes por la noche y la casera Lisa y el personal nos dieron la bienvenida, ya que era la primera vez que visitábamos este pub, tuvimos una noche tan divertida y genial. que volveremos allí este fin de semana

Solo un amargo disponible en borrador (Orgullo de Londres), y claramente mal conservado y casi imposible de beber. No es un buen lugar si eres un amante de la cerveza.

Un lugar agradable para estar, el personal también es agradable, las bebidas no están muy mal precio, pequeño pueblo encantador

The people are very friendly and love a chat but they do not do food but do bar snacks. It has big garden but kids are not allowed after 6pm the price is like a good not over doing it.

We attended this pub for a party. The staff were very friendly, good was very good, varied buffet, drinks reasonable price, toilets very clean. All in all a good place to visit. This was the first time I have been here but would visit again.

I have been going to this pub for 15 years and I am now really disappointed that the play area has been taken away and kids at no longer allowed here after 6, I understand the old rule of 8 but 6 in the summer holidays / missing a trick a real shame

After being a regular here for 26 years , I was sceptical about a major refurb in a pub that was comfortable to be in, and had only had a refurb 4 years ago. However they have done a fantastic job, lowering the ceiling , brand new toilets , modern serving area and cheaper prices. There are of course the first week teething problems with a completely new system, but these will I'm sure will iron out. But it's the people that make a pub first not all what it looks like, it's a move forward, and the same people who made this one of the busiest pubs in Bromley are still coming, with the same staff and management. It seems to me the refurb is to attract a younger clientele in the evenings to what was already a very good pub. Food to come? Hope so. Shame about curfew on kids at 6 , but that may change. Still early days.

this review is purely based on the recent refurbishment of the building and no reflection on the food or service. All I can say is I had very high hopes for this pub and I think they missed a very good opportunity to do something nice with this place. the original signage was ok and had a classic style to it, but it has been replaced with a bold Ariel type font in black and white, with the main focus being that they subscribe to sky sports. The inside looks more like a generic weatherspoons with no real effort put into the style and appearance and I get that this pub is frequented by a lot of tradesmen, but I think the style of pub is a bit out of date. Granted the place has been completely gutted, and they have done a nice job, but they have bought everything the same as before, from an era that should be forgotten, in my opinion. Think of someone taking something quite beautiful and with a lot of character and painting over it or taking a nice jacket and covering it in rhinestones! Anyway.... Living in the area myself, there are a lot of young families and a lot of house renovations going with new people moving in all the time and I think this pub does not fit in with that. In my opinion They could have made a nice gastropub with a lovely outside area but they have really missed a trick and I think it alienates a certain clientele. It seems to be a bit of a lads pub, and with that in mind, I still can’t get my head around that the refurb was carried out on what was probably the busiest period for pubs in the last 4 years – the world cup! In reality this pub has been refurbished for the existing customers without any thought of branching out. It’s nice to have variety but in this day and age these sorts of places are a dying breed, for a good reason – and looking at the Chatterton arms in Bromley I think it didn’t have the right people making the decisions.

Fantastic for the footy, full of good local tradition. Excellent if you want a slice of Kentish pub life. Always have things going on, like meat raffles, fresh fish guy, darts, pool, barbecues etc. Good size beer garden too. I’d say it’s not family friendly, though you do see kids there in the daytime, it’s definitely not a “tranquil lovely upmarket bistro type”, but is great for a few local beers.

this bar is ok for a few beers but nothing more, the staff are alright and the regulars are alright as well

Odd place. Really busy throughout the day as well as most evenings. Filled with very local people who all have their own space and seats etc and seems very cliquey if you like that sort of thing you'll enjoy it. Bit like an old london boozer. Staff pleasant and efficient.

Not a great pub, felt like it was the pub from shameless! Staff were friendly and quick to serve. Constant sports on every TV Seems they don't mind you bringing food in as some lads brought some pizzas in to eat! Must be take your own food!

situated in chatterton road this pub has a nice rear garden ideal for summer days the staff are friendly and a good selection of beers etc.

My wife and I visited this pub one Bank Holiday weekend in the early afternoon. We asked for two cups of tea and the woman behind the bar just looked at us, eventually saying 'we don't serve that sort of thing'. When we queried this, she eventually produced two cups of tea, for which we were charged two pounds. Not quite sure why she was reluctant to serve us, but she was, and not particularly friendly throughout the process. She didn't smile once, and talking to us seemed all a bit too much for her.

We met in this local pub for a beer before lunch.

Bit expensive, but Mondays they knock 50p off. It's just a blokes pub really, you see a few women on a Sunday lunch time. I have seen them do buffets for Christenings. Football seems very popular. Toilets clean. Garden with barbecue and children s play area. To me the pub seems over furnished, making it very difficult to get round if even slightly ctowded.
