The Chatsworth Bar in Ealing

The Chatsworth Bar has been closed and boarded up for months and months. No sign to say reopening. Used to have a pretentious sign saying award winning beer garden.

Convenient location with good screens to watch the football. Needs a little bit of love from a deco perspective, but really reasonably priced pints.

Enjoyed a delicious meal with my husband - welcoming friendly warm staff team who also were very kind to our dogs - other customers were friendly and welcoming - thoroughly recommend this pub for food and good company.

I bought a double vodka and lemonade and a brandy and coke. Was fleeced for £79. Be wary. Proper dodgy. Will be contacting my bank and getting this looked into.

Great bar to go to for a few beers and to watch the football! Plenty of TVs and room to sit. The dinner options are also quality and would recommend!

Staff were friendly and they have brilliant DJ's!

Unimpressed with the service. I came here before on a Friday night and never got charged entry, i came today and £5 even though he let 7 people prior before me in for £5 all together. Appalling. Not worth paying for if there is 5 people on dance floor.

Did a little crawl around the manor, ended up in this boozer. Really decent. Very nice vibe about the gaff. I'll be back.

Although I'm not really a pub fan, this place has got me impressed. We've had some fantastic food prepared by Elias and sublime coffee and tea made by Stacy. Both oh so friendly and the atmosphere and the venue is just so cosy. Favourite new place for sure!

I raved about this place to my family as I had been there many years ago with friends but unfortunately there was no life in this place, there weren't many people and it was cold but the food was lovely and so were the staff - very accommodating in that we were brought a heater but none of us took our coats off to eat.

Unpretentious bar with nice staff. The chef special burger with pineapple, kiwi, and egg was delicious. Ate here on my last night in England and it really fit the bill. Classic oldies played in the background and big screens had the latest football highlights going. Will come back if I'm ever in the area :)

This venue is located on the main road about 10 minutes from the underground station. It is directly opposite a pub but appears to be the more popular venue for locals. The decor is basic, but the atmosphere is friendly. The staff are attentive and check to see that your needs are being met. The prices are reasonable and there is a good standard choice of drinks on offer. There is outdoor seating and a function to play music for gatherings. A weak point is the male toilets that had a dirty rag on each cubicle that was unsightly. The toilets could do with a makeover. However, overall it is a good venue for socialising in a welcoming atmosphere.

Lovely place, life music and good food! I had to put only 4* as one of the waiters (a blonde 'lady') is always very rude with us on already two separate visits without any reason, let's say that she has no customer service whatsoever and/or simply hates her job and people.. The rest of the staff is been great ! Really attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back, hopefully we will not have that woman around us so that we can have a truly great evening

I've never felt so welcome and happy coming to a bar, despite covid restrictions the staff made sure to be so kind and helpful. I never left my seat or had to wave a person over because we had the best service. Constantly checked on and topped up. Literally the best service and I'm so appreciative. Really nice all-round pub in Acton. Food is good, there's a nice beer garden where they sometimes have music, and they show the football with some nice size screens. But the football doesn't take over the vibe either.

The most wonderful bar, friendliest staff (especially Alex) who always make you feel so at home and welcome. There is nowhere in Acton I would rather have a drink, the beer is delicious, cocktails are spot on. A huge thanks to the team for all the hard work they put in and for making our visits here so calm and lovely. Also, the covid measures are very clear and well organised, making you feel very safe.

Later edit: Visited again about a month ago. Ordered food and drink. Service was slow even though not busy and food really poorly prepared (lasagna). Waiter way too rushed to clear up table and pushy on the upsell. My initial review: Decent place, back in the day they used to do the best lamb and goats cheese burger. Not so much now but still a good place.

Excellent bar and food. The staff are consistently polite, friendly and with a smile. Service is fast. Food was good although perhaps portions could have been bigger considering the price.

Great service by Alex and awesome food. I and my wife used to live the Acton area and we came here after 5 years. Feel very nostalgic and our favourite Lamb Burger with Goat cheese and caramelised onion was great. Strongly recommend!

The food here is great and the service was amazing, i use to come in here often, but hadn't since the lockdown, went back on Wednesday and has some seabass it was just perfect. Love the place and look forward to going back. The staff are so friendly and attentive too.

Had been here before it was refurbished.. liked it then and like it now. I was ready to have fun so it was to be a good experience regardless. I absolutely enjoyed myself...friendly bar staff and bouncers. Music was great. It's a nice local spot.

Pros: -Nice garden -Good food -Decent priced drinks (some of them) Cons: -Bathrooms are DISGUSTING, infested with flies -General vibe seems more like a place for middle aged people -Bartenders aren't very friendly, when I pay for a drink they just hold out the card reader without looking and quickly pull away and walk off once the payment goes through, no thank you or smile and leaves you feeling like you're just burdening them with your order

Nice outside area and cheap drinks but the toliets were alwful and the food isn't great.

Horrible place after hours, the bouncers are extremely unfriendly, and simply refuse entry if they dont like the look on your face. One night my friend had lost his phone and the staff behind the bar had given it to the bouncers. The bouncers refused to give it back for ages until my friend threatened to call the police. wouldn't recommend as a place to after the pub due to these facts.

Lovely food . I love this place

Booked a table in advance for a meal, service was excellent, seated in the best area to enjoy the live band. Ordered drinks from the table no waiting at the bar. Certainly recommend.

Great for a nice glass of wine or cold beer

My first venture to the Chatsworth, came to see a band called Frank The Cat. I came with friends of mine to make an evening off it. We all ordered food, which was fantastic, cooked to a high standard, actually you see the chefs working away. Great wine and beer selection, and non alcoholic drinks. Staff have been very welcoming and friendly. There is a quiet back room to sit if you don't fancy the music. There is a lively atmosphere, l am sure it is more quieter during the day, but since there is live music, there is a different happy and jolly crowd. It's definitely a place worth a visit whatever your taste are.

I celebrated New years eve here and I wouldn't regret it at all. The DJ was great and the staff were all really friendly and accommodating. Went there again in the morning for breakfast and the food was amazing and at an affordable price. Would recommend to others

Fantastic venue. Only a short 10 minute walk from my Uni so it’s a great place for all of us to hang out! The staff are friendly and the food is fantastic for the price (especially on a student budget). Also would recommend Friday and Saturday nights. Fantastic DJs and even better drink prices. All in all, one of my favourite places to visit whilst living at my university!

This pub used to be great with amazing selection foods, since the new management has taken over food is only to be questioned.

I went there on a friends birthday party. The place is really cosy. We had a reserved area and the staff did some decoration for my friends party which was surprisingly pleasant. We had some food which was really tasty...the prawns especially. Everything was on affordable prices and the cocktails were really good. Music was also great. All together - great time! Will get back again.

It's not very often that I give a bad review on anywhere that I've eaten, but I have to say my visit to Chatsworth in Acton last Saturday was the worst and I won't be returning, ever. A group of around 30 plus people attended a family dinner and I'm not sure if the chef was sleeping that evening, but the food was not to the best standard at all. After hearing a few nice things about this place, I and my family were thoroughly disappointed. The fish and chips was extremely oily. Had oil dripping from it. The chicken was dry, which meant my son refused to eat it. But, the most frustrating part of it all, was that 19 of us ordered Apple Crumble and custard, which came to us burnt. How can anyone burn custard? You could smell the burning from a mile, plus the crumble was dry, and burnt also. The burnt pieces were visible and to be honest, it looked like a mess. Furthermore, is apple supposed to look purple? After complaining numerous times to various members of staff, requesting the dessert be smelt, we were told that this was how the Apple Crumble was supposed to be. Really? Does a chef not taste his food before he feeds it to his customers? Clearly not. So after a vast amount of time deliberating, the woman who we believe to be the manager only agreed to refund 9 desserts. Really? Only 9. I swear all 19 family members complained and the majority of those 19 didn't even eat their dessert. So, because of this treatment, I wouldn't recommend a dog to eat there. This whole let down ruined our family members birthday and of course dampened the good vibes. I will be making sure my review goes worldwide, from Facebook, to Twitter and any other websites that except restaurant/food reviews. Good luck to anyone who chooses to go there. To those of you who have had a great experience there, fortunately you were lucky.
