Had a beautiful Christmas Dinner food was lovely & hot. Atmosphere was lovely and warm Staff was amazing Definitely recommend

Great food- poor service.. Visited over the Christmas Period with family and friends; food was great; however the service wasn’t; starters took ages to arrive; one waitress dropped the starter so we had to wait for it to be cooked again( not a problem) half way through our dessert we were asked if wanted our bill even though we hadn’t finished eating; When the bill arrived we had been charged the wrong amount and the bill was printed without the total; so we had to ask twice… table behind us complained food was cold; and another table their preorders hadn’t been done; the chef apologised to the couple; Like I said the food was great; service needs to reviewed as it spoils the overall experience and was a complete letdown on what could be a good restaurant experience…

We ate here whilst staying at the hotel (Brockencote Hall) and found the food exceptional (as per our hotel review). The menu was interesting, the food well presented and delicious, the service charming and the prices fair. Looking forward to our next visit.

Visited here a couple of times both times as a wedding guest. Treated like royalty. Amazing. Feel nostalgic every time I drive past.
