Fantastic Christmas buffet which was amazing value and truly delicious. Huge range including salmon, prawns, various cheeses and pates, yummy cakes for dessert and a chocolate fountain- all in friendly and welcoming surroundings and our dogs welcomed. Thank you and we will be back!

Had a great Peppered Pork, mash and peas at the Centurion yesterday. Couldn't fault it! Very Tasty! Family had a cheese and Tomato Baguette and A Vegetable Curry. They were very impressed. Will definitely visit again. Nice choice of beers too - the Bombardier went down well 👍🍺

Fantastic community pub. The guy that runs the pub is a lovely fella and can't do enough for you. They do food now which for cheap pub grub it's worth the money you pay for it and I couldn't complain as it was really nice. Always seems to attract families as every time we go we always see people we know.

This community pub has for many years had a reputation for quality handpump beer. However, on recent visits, the beers on offer can only be described as awful. Decent brews are kept and served in such poor condition that they are totally undrinkable. This can only be down to poor cellar control due to a combination of incompetence and laziness. Come on management/committee sort it out.

This is a fantastic community pub that does a huge amount for the local area (charity events / fundraisers etc) and is an absolute pillar to the local community. We visit every Sunday to attend the quiz and is always a lot of fun and a great night to finish the week. This is a community pub so yes it is a little dated inside however the sense of community this pub has is second to none.

Our favourite place to come for brunch after football. The team, as always, went above and beyond with the orders for our family (all with different dietary requirements). The boys had the classic big breakfast with local products at a great price. I tried the weekend special eggs Benedict and it was amazing. The boys filled their boots. The girls enjoyed new things. The doorstop toast alone is worth the visit. Sadly, no room for my favourite one the menu - parsnip cake, but the cake-away option meant I could enjoy it later. We brought a friend for their first visit and she was blown away.

Stayed in the hotel. This review is about their dinner menu and the room. Poor selection of food. I was forced to eat fish and chips. I am not a fan of fish and chips. I hope they increase the food selection to decent options. Not everyone eats burgers and pizzas and fish and chips. Some people need quality food to thrive. Regarding the room, it was okay but there are stains on the carpet. I did not fancy the room I was given. It had a wet room. I prefer a room with a bath or a shower tray. I was told if I wanted a room with a bath, that I should specify at the time of the booking. The receptionist that checked me in was very nice though. She is a perfect example of one who should be at the front desk.

Attended Saturday night quiz. Arrived at 7:00pm. Started with a glass of red wine and Mediterranean platter followed by a to die for cheesecake( all food freshly cooked by Jason ( chef ) and the team. Wolfed the cheese cake down and realised I hadn't took a picture. Had a few more vino's during the quiz along with some banter with Jason and the regular customers. All tables were booked and nice to see a full house. Made a change to the average Saturday night and will certainly do it again. Would recommend to call in prior for some brekky or lunch to book quiz any day before or on Saturday. Quiz moved on quicker than your normal pub quiz which was great with the light banter and no typical interruptions from pub scene. Didn't win the quiz but enjoyed trying.
