Very good burger place. I had the blue cheese burger, and it was brilliant. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that a burger with fries and a coke came to £19. This isn't a restaurant with large overheads £19 is too expensive.

Tasty food but problem been there twice and they run out off products quick if want dinner from there

We visited on a Saturday afternoon so the food market was heaving with no where to sit, so outside in the rain we went! We chose this place as it smelt amazing. I had the smokey burger which was really nice and so were the fries. My partner had the spicy chicken burger (although he was annoyed it was actually mini fillets). The server was great and food took about 15 minutes. £25 for two burgers and one chips is a little steep but i suppose its the location.

Very expensive, small portions and long wait. It was tasty but wouldn't go again.

During Lunchtime on Friday 21st June 2024, I decided during a day out to finally visit the acclaimed Chester Market. I made the decision to try what NiceBites had on offer. I hereby confirm & declare that the Double Please Burger is the BEST Hamburger I've had so-far in my 46yrs of existence experience. Five Guys has nothing on what NiceBites delivers.

Ordered chicken tenders. Superb. Literally made them fresh. Out of the buttermilk and into the batter. Lovely Buffalo sauce. Burgers looked great too.

The burger I had today, (double cheese burger) has to genuinely be the best burger that I ever had! Gorgeous and friendly service too!

I was very dissapointed with my meal at NiceBites. After seeing the good reviews online, I paid £20 for a bacon cheeseburger with loaded fries. Unfortunately the burger was tasteless and the 'bacon' was essentially just fat. The loaded fries also had barely any cheese on them and weren't very tasty at all.

Tried the burger. Very delicious and the seasoned fries probably the best fries I've had piping hot crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The seasoning was spot on

Fries were slightly salty, but everything was pretty good overall. The chicken was tender and juicy.

This is in the top 3 burgers that I’ve ever had…and I’ve eaten a lot of burgers. Moist (not overcooked as so many are!)…decent bun(so many overlook this!)…excellent internal accompaniments (even remembered that I’d mentioned ‘the more gherkins the better’…very impressive)…heavily salted chips (ideal). (Probably too many brackets here). They really know what they’re doing here…really really good. And pretty reasonable too. And friendly😊. The only fault I can pick out is the name. ‘Nice Bites’ sounds like one of those dodgy takeaways that offers a suspicious number of different cuisines. But hey…if that’s the only issue you’re onto a winner 😉. Thanks guys!

We visited Chester for a post Christmas shopping trip, whilst there we went into the new indoor market to eat. We visited there before and had burgers at Nice Bites, so we decided to return again. I ordered a quadruple 🍔 boy, was it tasty 😋 . The cost of the burger was £12 but I'd say it's worth it. Cooked well and fast service. I'd definitely visited again next time we visited Chester. If you like really tasty, freshly cooked burgers 🍔 pay them a visited 😋

When my wife said "let's pop into Chester indoor market" I said no thanks.....but as she wears the trousers (sometimes) we went in......and am I glad I followed her. The choice of food was staggering in the food hall but I love a good Burger and I saw this place, NICE BITES, and the burger looked pretty tasty. Now, If I am honest, Hickories made the best burger and I thought it couldn't be beaten BUT boy was I wrong, the burger made at NICE BITES is OUTSTANDING.....I never thought I'd hear myself say it but it really is THE BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD......and believe me in my 52 years on this planet, I've eaten a few. Also, I must point out that the place was immaculately clean and the guys there working we're extremely friendly and enthuastic , this is one seriously great place to eat food.... I'm now thinking of opening an office in Chester, just for this food hall, especially Nice Bites - good job guys, I honestly can't wait to come back and have another burger (they do other delecious looking food, but I'm a burger guy. Great job NICE BITES seriously good burger.

Absolutely brilliant burger and drirty fries. We really enjoyed this, the flavour was great and the price was reasonable. The staff were friendly and the service was speedy. It was nicely located in the market and I would definitely reccomend and will be visiting again.

We're lucky to have such amazing independent places like this in Chester. I've seen them on Just Eat a few times but this afternoon is the first time I've taken the plunge. Wow! It's nice to have options - as a veggie. A lot of comparison to Five Guys on Social Media but this place blows Five Guys out of the water. It feels a bit pricey when you've not ordered from them before but when it arrives, it's restaurant quality and there's obviously a lot of pride in the food from the way it's presented and packaged. Nod to the sustainable packaging too. Will say, we had to heat our food up when it arrived as it was borderline cold. It was a little later than anticipated which may account for that (Chester traffic at the moment is sh!t) but that's not the restaurant/driver fault tbf. Highly recommend the halloumi fries!!! HUGE portion - easily a sharer and proper lush.

The lads at nice bites literally can do no wrong. Cracking food every time. Cal went the extra mile with his smothered chicken burger and the kids love it too!

They serve the best beef burgers in Chester as far as I am concerned. The halloumi fries are amazing. The £15 deal for a burger, 2 sides including chicken and a drink was so good, two of us were able to share it for lunch. Great value for money.

Fantastic burgers and really friendly staff. They have a good burger + beer deal with That Beer Place too, though I think that's Friday nights only. Fries are gorgeous. Not had a bad meal here. I think the prices are justified for the quality of food you get.

Had a lovely meal here as part of the foodie Fridays that they do in Chester market. The food was excellent and the staff friendly, energetic and passionate. Will be back for sure!

Superb burger, great prices and served by an incredibly friendly young fella who happily altered menu items for the kids. Highly recommended, pity I only discovered it on the last day of my holiday.

Good food, but order was mixed up/missing items. House special didn't include chilli or chorizo despite being displayed as being part of the house special. I was instead served a chicken and halloumi wrap. Heard lots of good things about this place and I am sure it was just a one off fluke, despite the wrong order the food was lovely and I will visit again

Found this place inside Chester market and what a find! Just made me up a burger of my choice (Cheese and bacon burger). Very fresh and tasty. I ordered this burger (came with a side of sweet potato fries) and two drinks for £10!!! Quality food, great price and friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family!

Has had a facelift with great food options, from amazing authentic Italian pizzas to delicious Thai, local beers and fab coffee, well worth a visit!

Awesomeness ! The food is epic, think man Vs food, diners drive on and dives type stuff. Proper quality and very tasty but served in the market so at a very reasonable price. Will be back soon

Simply the best burger i ever had in my life. You can watch this guy cooking and see how much effort he puts in making the best dishes. If you ever come in Chester, you have to go there. Probably if this restaurant was in London, it could be easily one of the most famous burgerhouse of the UK.

I've rated a few places 5 stars but I wish I could rate this place higher, really nice guy working there and I bought a bacon bap for £3 and a cup of tea and it's the nicest bacon bap I've had in a long time, would like go try out the rest of the menu now.

I always eat here after a long drive to Chester. It's an unassuming little cafe but the service is friendly and the food is of a very high standard.

We decided to go here after searching for decent places to get decent vegetarian food. I was surprised that this cafe was so high on the list as I feared it would just be a standard greasy-spoon place, with it being inside the market. It is only a small cafe, but the menu was extensive and there were options to suit everyone. I had a delicious wrap served with a side salad, and got a mix of sweet potato and halloumi fries. My only gripe was that there was too much food! It was well made, well presented, tasted great and was served by two very polite young men. Don’t let other reviews or its location deter you; this is a great place to go if you need to fuel up for a shopping trip!

Quality food, sensible portions, friendly staff.

Let me tell you a tale of woe and disappointment. After a shopping trip in the market we thought we'd grab a quick bite, so we had a wander around and settled on this place: the American diner vibe had an appeal, and with a small menu consisting of pretty simple options we figured we'd be in and out reasonably rapidly. [ Narrator voice: they weren't. ] First, we stood near the counter for a couple of minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence; sure, they were busy, but nobody even took two seconds to say "we'll be with you as soon as we can". Orders finally placed, 15 minutes later our drinks arrived. No "sorry it took so long", no nothing. Another 10 minutes passed, and bored of being roundly ignored we asked if we could have it to go, and then resumed our waiting. Eventually, after a wait of nearly 40 minutes since we arrived, food was ready. You know the expression "good things come to those that wait"? Don't believe it. The sweet potato fries were limp and bland, the coleslaw was soft and runny, and the three tiny slivers of Cajun chicken that constituted the main event were dry and uninteresting. My other half's wings were OK - not stellar, but passable - but truth be told the salad was probably the highlight. (Not because it was good; it was just the least bad.) Good food can overcome poor service, and good service at least makes poor food less of an insult, but when both things are poor they just serve to reinforce each other.

My favourite place in Chester! The food is fantastic, especially the halloumi and the staff are fantastic.

Trailblazer in the now growing cluster of eateries inside Chester Market. These guys have been making top quality street food for a while now and I make a point of heading there whenever I can. The veggie super sandwich is a current favourite.

Nice place, cheap and the food is tasty. The only downside is that it takes quite some time to get the food as it is prepared at the time of ordering, all freshly cooked, so it is worth it.
