Great bar with lovely staff and a good pint

A beautiful Christmas experience to top off an already amazing pub. Me and my family have been customers here for years and despite changing hands a couple times, it's never lost the quality. We came here last year for Christmas and again this year and it didn't disappoint, everything was so delicious and everything was table service so you could stay comfortable whilst the staff went above and beyond and really looked after us and everyone around us. A lovely atmosphere overall. The carvery every Sunday is absolutely beautiful and it never disappoints. Overall the quality is sublime and it really goes above any other carvery in the area, nothing comes close. So if you are looking for a decent carvery, come to the Castle Wednesfield and it will be your regular.

Haven't been in for years it's a trillion miles better

Amazing atmosphere and staff are too, excellent DJ mixed veriaty of music that suits all at some point so no one is let down. Can't say there's anything that's not good anouph or let's the place down TBH.

It has since been done up and they've done a fantastic job, the drink is fairly priced and staff are nice!

I have recently popped un here a view times. And honestly the people are nice. The staff are really chatty and friendly. Its a nice place to go 😊

Recently refurbished, but the fact there are 3 security staff on the door & the clientele are as before, it doesn't seem so welcoming. I may or may not ho there again.

It's ok. Quite a loud and in your face pub. Dog behind the bar nearly bit my hand off. Lots of great characters tho Guinness is always spot on

We had the pleasure of visiting this pub in oct last year there were 75 came down from Manchester for the celebration of Duncan Edwards 80th birthday and a lot of us went in here it was a great atmosphere with Karaoke and a fabulous laugh the Bar maid was amazing in coping with us all and would go back again in fact i am trying to get hold of them to say when we are coming again

Typical tavern in the town style pub. It's only busy when the market stalls are occupied on friday and Saturday other than that it's a dead pub not visited by many people. Serves banks's beers.
