Excellent food ,well worth a visit .lunchtime prawn sandwich was delicious ,came with chips and coleslaw ,very filling and definitely worth the money .evening food also lovely ,good size portions .Good selection ,salmon was beautifully cooked.

Unfortunately we did not try the food however the menu did look very appetising and what we saw from other customers looked amazing. A lovely pub situated at the sea front super dog friendly staff loved our dog. A good selection of drinks and a warm atmosphere greets you. We will return again soon

Having been very let down by a few of the locals for breakfast ,before i drove 495 miles home , i finally popped in to the very friendly castle inn , and boy what a lovely friendly place It is , the staff will do anything to accommodate you , and even if they don't normally serve items of food ,they'll certainly do there best to achieve an experience you'll note forget .staff are very friendly and efficient , the general atmosphere there would be hard to find anywhere else, the food served ? Fantastic , service 100%, and portions ? Massive ! Well worth a visit , such idyllic scenery too .would Recommend to everyone in the area , x thanks guys dog a lovely welcome x

An absolutely amazing meal cannot fault the home cooking and service. An absolute must if you in the area not to be missed. Great service and atmosphere. Such a pretty village to see. But my utmost thanks to the chef what an amazing talent you have x thanks

We went for Sunday lunch 6th Oct 22 and booked a table for 1.20pm as we had been told they were always busy. They are so if you want a Sunday lunch there book a table. 5 of us went, 1 had a fish pie 3 had roast brisket and 1 had roast pork. The roast pork looked delicious and was finished in short time. I was one who had the brisket and I have to say it was as good as I've had anywhere. The roast dinners were served with roast potato, mash swede, carrots Yorkshire pudding and gravy with a jug of extra gravy and cabbage in a bowl for those that wanted extras. The fish pie was served with a salad and I was told it was "fantastic" The service was friendly, efficient and good. The table was a good size which left us with plenty of room for our drinks etc... All round, a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go again, highly recommended but it is very well attended so phone first.

A great pub in a pretty cool location looking right out to sea at the Little Haven cove with unobstructed views. Food is good with a great variety of dishes. Staff could be a little more welcoming and personable.

Sunday lunch is a treat, especially the Beef Brisket, cooked to perfection. Ordered small portions as elderly. Lots of veggies, efficient, friendly staff despite being under pressure as full house. Always visit here when in area and never had a bad meal.

Great food, great atmosphere and Great Service. Loved my visit.

We had 3 meals at the Castle, 2 of which were nice. Unfortunately the gammon was very tough and parts of it were inedible. These things isn't the issue. The issue and reason for the 2 star rating is the way the staff dealt with it. When asked how the meal was, we told the man behind the bar about the gammon. He was completely disinterested and did not offer an apology. All he could say was "well you managed to eat some of it". There's work to do on customer service!

Food look fab but fish and chips fish was a little over and Greece chips look good but didn't taste it. Most beef was OK but the carrot what's going on with that mash was oddly lumpy all in it was OK. Nut roast was apparently very good according to one of our part as was roast pork.

A great Sunday lunch at The Castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our table was spacious and our dog was happily welcomed too. The choices for Sunday lunch were excellent with the portion sizes being very generous! Such tender tasty lamb with a selection of delicious vegetables, a huge Yorkshire pud, extra gravy and mint sauce too. My husband had the beef brisket which was as equally delicious. All around a great dining experience and great value for money. We will most definitely be back! Booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment.

This was our second year staying in Little Haven and The Castle being our “local”. Lovely food, dog friendly and the staff are great. Lovely views from the best garden and the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of seeing the sights of beautiful Pembrokeshire. Forgot to mention that they do the best chips ever!!

The best place to eat in Little Haven! Fantastic value for money. The food and choice of dishes is brilliant but best of all are the portion sizes - you won't complain because there isn't enough!!

We had a lovely meal here and had a room to ourselves (family of 10, booked same morning). Food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive (but not overly).

Amazing food with portions that are generous, even for the children’s meals. The chicken nuggets are hands down the best I’ve ever had—made with actual chicken breast! The service was incredibly fast; we had our food within 10 minutes of ordering, and it was divine! I cannot fault this place at all. Highly recommend!"

Lovely little pub in the harbour. Food is reasonably priced and tasty, not much on the menu, but makes it easier to choose. Toilets are clean and well stocked for ladies, which is a nice touch.

We visited on a Sunday evening with our 3 children. We eat out a lot with the children and found the castle didn’t provide what we would call good service. We’d booked in advance and were put in a room on our own at a dirty table to start, so asked to be moved into the main bar to get some atmosphere (not sure if that was the problem and the kids weren’t welcome). The service was really really slow, even though there was empty tables. And when we asked how long the food would be we were told that they were busy! The kitchen could really do with looking at quality over quantity as filling plates with pre-frozen chips doesn’t tick every customers box. At the end of the low quality meal (£120) we were left unhappy.

Never will this venue be beaten for the Special Seafood platter they can prepare with advance requests. Lovely spot right on the edge of the beach. Some excellent choices on the menu and the staff were very helpful! Food came quickly and was a very high standard. Great atmosphere too. Highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect pub! Service was brilliant, the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. Honestly couldn’t fault it except that we didn’t take cash to leave the tip. I am often a very fussy customer but this was brilliant.

Pub shuts before advertised time, even midweek in the high season.

Amazing food, big portions. Very friendly staff, you can sit out side to eat on nice days. The other customers were really friendly as well. They also provide sanitary products is the toilets as well as hand gel.

Very very good welsh cawl we had here. Been there twice - friendly staff. Highly recommended. Definitely better than others we had in the area.

Just had a sensational meal here at The Castle. Surf and turf was sublime. Service 10/10. My partner had pan fried salmon and the fillet size was incredibly generous. If in the area, definitely worth a visit!

The food at the Castle was excellent. I had the gammon steak and my wife had the Welsh mussels. Both were really good, and very large portions. The service was good and the location lovely. They are dog friendly too, so plenty of reasons to visit again. I highly recommend visiting here if you enjoy good pub food.

We both had the fish and chips. The fish was over cooked, greasy, small and thin . With one medium size potatoes worth of chips. Not good value for money.

Basic pub food . Would not go again. Beer warm and expensive. Disappointed. Two pubs in the village and both the same. Littlehaven is the very best place to stay but not good to eat out .

Well located, tasty food at a slightly higher price. Chicken and chorizo sandwich was really nice. Although the pub was busy, the staff weren't run off their feet and were slightly impolite which was disappointing.

Food was nice however it was expensive £10+ for a sandwich and chips. Staff need to learn some people skills, what could have been a simple question was asked in a very abrupt way which there was no need for!

So glad we stopped here! Everyone was so friendly, we were seated straight away, food was delicious and service was top notch!

Are here after a 10k race recently. My girlfriend's food was nice, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was nice and a good location. You can sit by the sea with a beer and there are a few available benches as well as tables not as close to the pub. We had a sticky toffee pudding which was really good, but... My salmon dish from the specials was probably one of the worst meals I've had in a long time, including meals I cook for myself or things I buy from supermarkets and I spent over £20 for it. This is just my opinion of course, but I just think I was unlucky. They have so many good reviews for food and looking around, the other food looked good and people seemed happy, but not mine... IMHO. It was salmon with potato salad. The salmon wasn't really seasoned with anything and may have been a little over cooked. The potato salad was quite unpleasant to eat and I couldn't finish it. There was a lot of mayonnaise and it left an unpleasant greasy taste in my mouth for a while after I finished it. Luckily the very nice sticky toffee pudding helped with that.

Came to do a coastal walk, and ended up having a few pints and a mackerel sandwich for my dinner, and came back later with my missus for an evening meal too.

Called in lunchtime after walking from St Brides church. Really clean and welcoming. Had one of my favourite Welsh dishes, Cawl. Quick service. Really nice food. Good choice of drinks. Dogs welcome too, although on the harder flooring area (fair enough) Will go again. 🤩

UPDATE: Visited a year on and the food was incredible and generous, not concerned about the price it's the same as where we live and the cost of everything has gone up, just glad to support the local area. Just what we needed after a nice stomp. We went back for lunch another day during our stay- portions are huge kids portions would have fooled me as adult portions, not a complaint just would have ordered one for kids to share. Friendly service, sunny spot for a relaxed drink.

The food was very good, if on the pricier end. The onion soup would shame any Frenchman. It's a Marston's pub so don't expect any decent cask. The Pedigree was off but it was swapped for a good example Ringwood Boondoggle with no fuss.

We had a great lunch last week. Warm welcome, good regular pub menu and delicious meals. We had the fish and chips, gammon and chips and pasta bake. Everything was hot, delicious and beautifully presented. The chips were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. One small thing missing was some whole prawns in the prawn pasta bake. It did taste delicious though. We will definitely be visiting again.

Christmas dinner was fantastic, gorgeous food and generous servings. Staff were really friendly and because one of our party couldn’t make it because he was ill, staff put his lunch in takeaway boxes for us, so grateful. Will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

We visited The Castle on 2 separate lunchtimes during our late Autumn break in Pembrokeshire. We both love gammon and can honestly say the gammon meals we had were superb. The food and the service was brilliant. They welcomed our dogs too and we will definitely be back when we return to lovely Pembrokeshire next year. Well done to all the staff at The Castle.

HOT FOOD, With great portion sizes and all Served at London Prices and I thought living in France was expensive, there you go and to think that I pay £12.50 for a 3 course meal in a restuarant with a view over Confolon Lac in the Auvergne and Fish n Chips cost £17 in West Wales 😢 ApartmentsWales

Our family of four come down to stay in Broad haven every October. Whenever we fancy a drink, or a delicious, hot or cold meal, the castle in little haven is here for us. The view from the window out to the beach is astonishing, and we often take a walk on the beach shortly after our meal. One of the best pubs in Wales, you won't change my mind!

Visited for Sunday lunch. Nine of us with different dietary requirements (gluten free/ vegetarian/ children’s portions). All were happily catered for. The lunch was delicious, one of the best I’ve had out. Service was great and excellent value. Would definitely return. 10/10. Only one tiny negative, no gluten free lager.

Ate here with my other half and her parents last night for the first time and had excellent experience. Food was cooked perfectly and all served together, I had the RibEye medium to rare and can say the chef did a wonderful job. Will be making it more of a local visit for the future. Cozy atmosphere, kind staff and great service.

Took the kids and the dog for a walk on the beach, decided to pop in for a bit of food, had the Prawn Marie Rose and the kids had nuggets, not forgetting the sausage for the dog, very nice food good presentation, bread was nice and soft and good portion size. Will definitely be coming again, what a great pub!

Had a lovely family time, plenty to choose from on the specials, lamb shank was a massive portion which my husband appreciated, kids meals are generous as well. Staff is very attentive, we left happy and will be coming back soon!

This is difficult. The food was good, the service was good, the beer (Butty Bach) was good and the staff lovely. What ruined it was some less than considerate customers (I assume locals) who let their dog bark, snarl and growl all through the time we were there. I've always had dogs. Love 'em. The trick is to give them a modicum of training. Of course the humans need some too and in most places they'd have been asked to leave.

The food was fantastic, especially the fish pie, definitely recommend eating here. Plus, the service was brilliant, our 2 year old daughter wanted pizza that wasn’t on the menu. They could see she was upset and went away and made her a little homemade pizza. Just the best.

First impressions inside the restaurant/pub was generally agreeable if you don’t mind eating in a place where most of the other patrons have dogs , we don’t really but others may think differently and who knows we may have inadvertently booked on ‘bring a dog’ Thursday Food was fine and decent portions so that made up for Cruffs Three serving staff again attentive at start but seemed to lose interest in our table after main so we paid the bill and left. May go back but probably not

Nice pub, just off the beach, good staff, helpful, polite, efficient. Had huge plate of very good quality Mussels in the usual cream, white wine, diced onion sauce with Chips, which were well cooked and crispy. Party of four my Wife enjoyed her fish and chips which looked good and wasn’t at all greasy. Pub was clean well maintained and homely.

We popped in on the off chance they would have a table for 2 of us and our dog. The staff were friendly and helpful and found us a good table. We had the roast beef brisket and it was excellent. The best meal we had all week during our stay. A large portion size and really good quality food and cooked perfectly. I have to say from the outside the pub isn’t one we would normally pick, as we would go for a more traditional looking pub, but the inside is lovely and I would highly recommend it. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Little Haven.

I am a big lover for a Sunday lunch and this was one of, if not the best I’ve ever had. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very calming. 100% recommend and will be returning.

Delicious fish and the best mussels we’ve ever had. A beautiful spot overlooking the sea. We got the Squid from the specials board and the Mussels in white wine sauce. So so yummy. Nice wine and beers. Would recommend!

Perfect spot to enjoy average sunsets

We had a late lunch. As of August 2023 they stop serving at 3pm in the afternoon and reopen later. We had gammon and chips, also children's penne pasta and tomato sauce. It was lovely

We popped in on a busy night, no booking but luckily they found us table. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, freshly cooked with generous portions. I had the salmon tagliatelle which was lovely, so tasty. My friend had fish and chips, the fish was huge with lovely crispy batter. Two winning meals. A great place on the sea front. I will definitely return.

Cool pub. Great food and amazing location.

We go around different places to try the local fish and chips. So far this ranks second on my list. Batter was crispy and bubbly and the chips were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The serving was very generous. Price was reasonable.
