UPDATE 18/10/2024 I understand prices go up but £3 for a small chips is ridiculous, £4 with cheese, We have been customers for 9 years but with the steep prices we may have to go without our monthly treat from you 🥹 PLEASE FIX THE PAY BY CARD PROBLEM SO I CAN PAY ONLINE! ! ITS BEEN WEEKS AND ISNT ACCEPTABLE NOW! ITS INCONVENIENT, NOT EVERYONE CARRIES CASH! we now order from Millennium Absolutely beautiful food, we have either the chicken filet burger or mixed doner. It always arrives on time, is always hot and fresh, and the chips!!!! Oh the chips are the best I’ve ever had from a take out place. Staff are always happy and friendly! 10/10!from us

Food service and atmosphere were all very good, ordered alot and cook time was fast and efficient, would definitely recommend.

Been ordering from this place for years. Never had any issues, deliveries superfast food is always good. Abdullah goes up and over every time to make sure everything is all good.

Ordered mix kebab,kofte over cooked like burnt,chicken shish ok,chicken kebab meat under cooked and wet looking, donner meat very dry,salad very wet with not a green pepper in sight, pitta bread lovely, chilli sauce x2 in tubs hot as in microwave hot😩,so for near on £20 for a mix kebab and 2 pots of chili sauce not for me,also for the £2 delivery fee,l will look elsewhere

We have used Cambridge grill for years weekly.... but tonight very disappointed when making an on line order like always ... after the arrive the order was wrong I phoned the shop and got passed around... ....like a mug...... then told that they had made a mistake and would send the correct order out but I had to return the order......making me feel that I was making a fess over nothing.....this was our evening meal and it was ruined...... Cambridge grill has been fantastic in the past be tonight it was very disappointing a now we have to find another service......

Disgusting meat, dry, not seasoned at all, chips soggy and full of oil. On the top of that food delivered cold. Never again. At least salad was eatable.

Been a regular customer for over 10 years, tonight we spent £26 and the food was under cooked, we phoned them and politely told them and they told us they were to busy to cook it more and told us to go somewhere else if we didn't like it. We will never ever use Cambridge grill again, what disgusting attitude. The food went in the bin!!

Without a doubt, bar none the best kebab shop, take away or eat in available in the whole Wellingborough area. When you order they always say 35-45mins but if its ever more than 20-25mins it'll be a rarity. The chicken shish is so succulent and juicy I never order anything else. The Missus always gets a quarterpound burger with chips and they're chips not crispy French fries. The salad is crunchy and fresh, sauces are lovely and the price is very reasonable. They never give us reasons to go elsewhere so we haven't. Bravo Cambridge Grill

I order doner kebab everything was fine till I saw this tomato … shouldn’t be there. I am working in restaurant as a chef and I know sometimes is happening but please this one was on the top.

Absolutely awful took 2 bites from burger tasted of something awful definitely cheap ingredients. Chips covered in plastic tasteless cheese .meal went in bin

Excellent friendly service. Food was freshly cooked as ordered and it was delicious. Prices are very reasonable too so all in all I would definitely recommend this shop.

This was one of the worst fast food we've ever had. The lamb chops were burned, hard, had a horrible taste (I had to spit the food out of my mouth)...waste of our good money. And the mixed kebab was nice and hot BUT didn't taste great. The salad wasn't dressed nicely either, usually Turkish salads are quite tasty but this was not the one. They also forgot to add the sauce on the chops/chips meal. And, I selected for my bread to be separated but they also didn't do that. Really disappointed and won't be ordering from this place again.

Food arrived cold and when I call them to explain the situation the woman was rude and defensive straight away before I could even explain do not order from here

I ordered kebab and requested no onions , received my order and there was onions on it so contacted Cambridge Grill , they told me that they where very busy and asked what i want in very rude voice , also told me that they can send me one more kebab out after more than one hour and give old one back instead of offering just salad , already waited one hour so will not wait another hour or more . The women on phone need to learn how to speak with people as she was very rude , can just say you have lost loyal customer , will not order from there anymore .

Great food at best prices. Don't forget to try a Spanish omlette from chef Bilal.

Ordered my food at 16:52 and released I had made a mistake, rang them at 16:53 and was told I couldn’t change my order as it was out with the driver. Wow that’s some service chicken doner and chessey chips cooked, wrapped and in the car in 60 seconds. My food left the shop at 16.53 and arrived at 17:26 so the driver drove the 2.4 mile journey at 4.2mph. The food was nasty never seen grey chicken before. Binned it and the chips tasted like the oil was due a change. Never again. Liars and nasty food.

Love the flavour of their half and quarter pounder burgers with cheese. Mix kids doner is the perfect amount if you want to keep it light. Staff are very friendly too.

Never going to order from here again they gave me the wrong change I called up and they didn't care to come back and give me my £5 I should have got considering I ordered £40 worth of food. Wouldn't recommend getting food from here guys

It was ok.think staff could of being a bit more hygienic with food but it was ok.

Ordered and delivery was late and driver left food on the door step as per government instructions but never knocked on the door so when we went out to put something in bin we discovered our food, which was cold by now.

The food is excellent!!! The menu is a little dated now and needs improved it hasnt changed much since it was opened. To move on with the times we need something exciting on the menu, different strengths of chilli sauce, food from there own country added to the menu with salad vegetables from there country of origin. Remember.... We have not had any problems with Cambridge Grills food at all we have just become bored with there menu, and lack of exciting things to choose from, customers are now wanting to taste food whether being from Turkey 🇹🇷 or Kurdish like how it was made there using, olives, peppers, mushrooms, garlic etc this little touch of country of origin would make Cambridge Grills food exceptional and outstanding. Please don't be offended by my review it just needs little changes to make this take away restaurant a lot better.

When a kebab shop only has a 3 star rating for food hygeine, it says it all.

Quick and easy going service. Lady on the phone had a nice telephone manner. I had a burger and a doner wrap. Let me tell you, that burger was 10/10 for tasty. However no 5star for the doner wrap. Wasn't the best meat I've ever had. But nicely put together all the same I still eat the whole thing lol. First time ordering here, I will definitely be ordering a burger again

Food getting worse, and they charge you whatever they want. Ring them to complain and they're not interested. Been using these guys for years, tonight was the last time. They have changed for the worst. Shite!

Without a doubt the best kebabs in wellingborough and I got to say it's o e of the tastiest kebabs I've ever ate. Been ordering from there for many years at least few times a month and it's always a quality, tasty meat with fresh salads and the portions are mahoosive and prices more than reasonable. I've had a kebab and I found a bone inside. I told them that and they threw it away and did not take any notice ! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Pass it by,better to be hungry!

This place is our family first choice locally for burger and the occasional kebab. Always fresh, tasty and well cooked and lovely friendly staff.

Portion size was great. My chips where burnt & soggy! My kebab had hard strips and majority of it tasted like it had been sat in old fat for ages! Myself & my partner both had bad stomach pain shortly. It’s ashame as I use this place regularly.

Got the order wrong, rang them to ask if they can do the right one, they didn't want to know. No help offered, 15 pound for the wrong order. Lamb shish medium - tiny and about six bits of meat and caked in salad and cold. Was awful.. very disappointed with Cambridge grill - expected more. Won't be coming back!!

the chips were cold on arrival the rest barely warm i asked for mayo and got something else all over my dinner instead that i didnt like the kids said the sausage was spicy and couldnt eat it total waste of money all gone in bin and now i had to cook tea for them, the drunks may think it ok but not as a family take away even if i was drunk i couldnt eat this muck

I have used this food outlet many times & always been more than satisfied with the quality of food I have received. Good choice of dishes & lovely fresh salad with kebabs.

The staff was very rude when I complained that the inside of my chicken was still pink. They genuinely scared me. I don't think the food here was great anyway, but that made me never come back here again. I only went if my Friends wanted to go.

Hi , I made an order tonight for fish and chips , with one bit of fried chicken . My order came an hr later . Opened it up and couldn't believe that they had sent it like it was . My fish batter was so hard and dark brown and the fish inside was flat as anything and u cud see all the grease on the batter and had gone all over the chips which made the chips horrible to eat so that was my dinner wasted , open the chicken up and wasn't to bad but just couldn't eat it as was so put of by the fish and chips . So I decide to ring them . Got though and told them I wasn't happy with what they delivered, he ask why. So I said about the batter on the fish and its so greasy ect. He told me that the fish comes in the batter already frozen and that's how they fry it . So I said if it's not fresh then u should state that on ur menu . False advertising. He then said to me well you know that's how it is and when you order again , which I stopped him straight away . I said I'm never ordering from u again as that is rank, and put the phone down . Bad service and customer care . And Defo bad food!!!!

Visited on Saturday night just passed on the request of the party I was with to order late night food. First of all, the establishment itself is very very grubby; secondly the staff were non-communicative and very rude; thirdly, upon arrival back home to eat the food, it turned out to be vile. My tip is to avoid avoid avoid!

what a mistake we ordered two lamb shish and lambdoner kebabs but receivedlamb shish and chicken doner kebabs if this wasn't bad enough the meat was so salty that even the dog turned his nose up although we have ordered food from here before you can rest assured assured that we will not be making this mistake again a waste of fifteen quid

Had a big bone in the chicken meat that they tryed to tell me it was chicken and they never got the order right in the first place the manager told me he would come out and get it to see it and chickened out and sent one of the drivers fuming now lol

Average food. Filthy kitchen and service areas and not competitive on price. The chicken kebab was very nice. But the conditions it was made in worried me to be honest. Everywhere was grubby and required a re vamp

Twice I have used these for delivery and twice I have been very disappointed. Whilst the delivery was quick...the lady who delivered to me last night didn't even hand me the food properly that I nearly dropped it...she was in that much of a rush & wasn't even friendly!! I ordered a lamb shish kebab which I love but both times the lamb has a lot of fat on it...never ever have I had so much fat on a shish kebab...I wont be using these again.

I ordered 2 chicken meat and chips tonight, usually the best. Don't know what they did to it this time. Bit's of tooth, gristle and other things in it. I've had a lot of takeaways in my time and this was the worst meal I have ever eaten. I ate almost a quarter of It and called it a day, the other person that ordered one eats like a horse so I shouted upstairs to him, hey mate do you want the rest of my takeaway? He said no thanks mate mine was horrible, I said yeah so was mine, it's going in the bin mate. I don't usually bother calling takeaways up after but did this time as I was so dissapointed that I had paid for junk. I called them up to tell them and nothing was done to compensate for it. Just said everything was fresh etc etc, just tried to get rid of me off the phone really I felt. I will never order from them again. Aweful food it was, and I'm not fussy either.

Having recently moved from Scotland to Welly, my boyfriend and I are on a mission to find the best takeaways in the area. We have tried the Cambridge Grill twice - and twice we have been disappointed. The chicken was dry and inedible - coming from a man that will put almost anything in his mouth, and the veggie kebab - after taking 20 minutes to prepare was limp, soggy and tasteless. We wont be visiting again and the search continues.
