The Calypso Kitchen in Tunbridge Wells

We ordered a take away from calypsos kitchen, the plantain wad really good and the Caribbean doubles was a bit spicy for the woman, after we had jerk chicken and vegetable curry, the only thing I can say is you need to put some sauce on the rice otherwise it s a bit dry, but the chicken was well cooked and spice, we mixed the vegetarian main with the chicken to get more flavour. Thanks I will recommand it, but please put some on the rice

The Calyspo Kitchen provides the absolute best food in Tunbridge Wells. I regularly partake and look forward to Jerk Fridays where you can order and evening collect and range of perfectly flavoured Caribbean dishes. The Oxtail is supreme quality, the goat curry is mild and juicy and the jerk chicken has an exciting but not overpowering kick (beware the additional chilli sauce available as this is pure fire). Cooking filled with Aurora personality, I can recommend enough!

I booked the Calypso kitchen to provide hot Jamaican food for my husband's 40th and they were brilliant. So helpful with menu options and the food was amazing a real hit with all the guests! I would definitely recommend and would definitely use them again. Thank you so much for helping make the day special.

Aurora a is an absolutely lovely lady, so warm and welcoming only outdone by the tastiness of her food. The jerk chicken and coleslaw is beautiful and the oxtail heavenly. I can’t recommend the Calypso Kitchen enough and will certainly be a regular customer.
