The cafe on this site has been good throughout the five years I've been in Hedon, but it gets better and better. The jacket potatoes and toasted sandwiches are wonderful. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and there's a nice loo. Access to the ground floor part is probably relatively easy for people with limited mobility.

Been 2/3 times,, always had a nice tasty meal/snack/cake. There are some nice different choices on the menu. Coffee is good. Small place and meals are all made on a very small counter/kitchen don't know how they do it! There are tables upstairs but I have not ventured up there yet!

Come to this cafe quite regularly and try to visit every Friday depending on how my schedule looks for each Friday. It’s a perfect little cafe if you just want some time to yourself once a week like myself. I usually go for the hot chocolate which is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately they didn’t have any of the hot chocolate in last time I went but had a delicious vegetable soup which was the soup of the day when I was last in and it was lovely. I must say thank you to the lovely members of staff for catering to my needs when I explained that I couldn’t have crusty bread with my soup due to bread being my sacrifice for lent this year so they brought it to me with crisps to dip into it instead which I thought was just a joke between ourselves at first but made me smile when it did actually come with crisps. 😂 The place itself just looks so much more refreshed to when it was chatty couch because as nice as it was when it was chatty couch it just looked a bit run down before it became cake gallery. Selection of cakes are lovely on my first ever visit I had the chocolate brownie which was like a party on my tastebuds to the point where I shouted, apologies to staff and other customers who visited at the same time as me that day. I also once had the millionaire’s flapjack which was just so full of flavour. Staff are very kind and cater for individual needs as explained above. See you as always when I can every Friday.

We went for a late lunch last week and we were very impressed. I had the cauliflower cheese soup which was lovely and my partner had the quiche which was also delicious. We also took away some things to have next day: the banoffee pie and the bakewell tart and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Good coffee and tea. Friendly staff. Efficient service. We would definitely recommend the cafe and we look forward to going back.

First time visited here and not disappointed. While not a vegetarian, I did not miss meat in this super tasty and freshly made wrap. While they don't have gluten free options (I asked for a co-worker) anything in a wrap can be served as a salad box. Great food, friendly server and well worth the money. Update...came back again with the husband...still excellent... Card payment accepted but pay cash if you can....doesn't cost small businesses!

I went with some friends for afternoon tea and we were not disappointed. The sandwiches were a good variety with quality ham and beef, as well as cheese. Also, a tasty sausage roll, and a mini savoury tartlet. The cakes were a cake lovers delight. From the huge scone, with jam and cream, to the mini raspberry cheesecake, we were very impressed. Not to mention copious amounts of tea. The setting was very pleasant and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend Croft Park to all my family and friends.

I have lived in the village for 20+ years and have always meant to visit this tea room. I did this March and had a breakfast which was delicious and very good value. The setting is small but well presented with China cups not mugs and the ladies very helpful, will go back
