Always a great place to go for a gluten free meal or snack , the staff are amazing and very knowledgeable about allergies , the bonus is being able to take the two dogs in with us , they even get given treats and plenty of water, what more could you ask for

First time I have visited here. Great choice of menu and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the lentil soup(very tasty ,stick to your ribs type ), with a very tasty brie,apple and grape sandwich. Lovely coffee and of course a wee cake. Lovely selection of goodies. Will have no hesitation in visiting again.

Just wanted to say how much we liked the New Cafe Royale! We were up in Girvan visiting relatives for the weekend and ended up popping in a couple of times. Impressed with the menu, all diets catered for and it's really clear that a lot of care and effort has gone into food offered. Loved the vegetarian options and can highly recommend the veggie breakfast we tucked into to set us up for our journey home. Delicious home made cakes and hearty soup. Friendly, helpful staff, welcoming atmosphere and dog friendly too. Our terrier got a little cup of biscuits each visit which was a nice touch! It's a great asset for the town. We'll be back!

Went to the Cafe Royale with family as partner is gluten intolerant. The staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome. The Cafe offers a wide selection of gluten free options breakfast, bread, rolls soups, fish cakes, scampi and a wide selection of cakes. They take cross contamination seriously as they clearly mark the plates as gluten free for anyone choosing this option. We all chose different meals and they were all lovely and hot. Would definitely recommend this cafe and an added bonus is they are dog friendly too. 🥰

First time in this cafe and the lady who welcomed me was lovely. The front area was rather busy but there is a rear area with booths and additional seating, it was really comfortable. The staff member came over and told me the specials, two types of soup, a vegan choice, bagel with scrambled egg and avocado and a couple of other choices. I had the lentil soup which was lovely, thick and well seasoned and I had a tuna wrap with salad and coleslaw. Staff were lovely and service was quick. The milk shakes at a nearby table looked good and the place is very dog friendly. I had a really pleasant lunch and was made to feel welcome, I would definitely visit when back in the area.

This cafe has been going for along time. Now changed hands with the same atmosphere. Went in 15/09/23 for a coffee. Got talking to the owner about gluten-free. Well tattie scones slice sausage cakes etc wow. Went back in 16/09/23 had potato soup,then slice sausage tattie scone egg and beans. All I can say is that the staff are brilliant. The food was brilliant. I’m here for the next week or so. It will be regular haunt. Thank you. Billy Campbell

What a fantastic little cafe! Myself, my husband and our two dogs had lunch here today. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Food was tasty and plentiful. They do vegan and gluten free options too if that’s what you want. We’d go back. Thank you to staff. Keep doing what you do! Well done!

Absolutely amazing lunch. Staff very attentive and helpful. I’m coeliac so had gluten free panini with Brie, bacon and cranberry, side salad and ordered a side to chips but couldn’t eat it all! So full. Hubbie had a huge burger, chips and salad also delicious. The choice of gluten free cakes was spectacular. Highly recommended.

Visited with my sisters for a late lunch. Lovely selection of sandwiches including Vegan options, great chips on the side 😊 Very friendly service, an owner who who obviously cares about her customers! Delighted to find homemade slabs of Butter Tablet 😋

What a warm wonderful❤️ welcoming cafe excellent location great customer service, food fresh tasty and huge portions. Cake was delectable 💗 I'm currently walking the entire UK coast path solo for the RNLI with my Big agnes tent Aggie since July 4th over 7,600 miles walked and I was welcomed in here with my huge backpack and offered a gifted meal drink and cake to go ..THANK YOU so much for making me feel do welcome . Fully recommend this delightful cafe and The staff def make you leave wanting to come back

This is a great addition to Girvan. Friendly professional service, very clean and good home cooking. Soup is delicious, the cakes and scones are fabulous and a wonderful choice. Genuinely dog friendly with dogs having their own menu! They also do occasional evening menus which Girvan is desperate for!

Visited for brunch, really nice cafe. Clean and pleasant surroundings, excellent service, food tasty and very good value for money.

This cafe has been shut for several years and has just reopened in 2022 to a warm welcome in the town. It's been redecorated inside, and the new operators are enthusiastic and really care. There's a small town comfort and charm here, many locals pop in for coffee and cake. The cakes and sweets variety is extensive and the breakfast and food is delicious, certainly up to par with or better than most Scottish cafes. It's presented well and offered with a smile. Prices are fair! We'll be back.

It had been a while since I visited Girvan and I had heard that the Cafe had opened under new management. We arranged to meet relatives here rather than find a pub that could take children. The cafe was busy but there was plenty of staff on hand to take our order. I opted for a panini while my partner choose a toastie both accompanied by lattes. The kids stuck to burgers and it was the quietest they’d been for some time! We rounded off our visit with millionaire shortcake, while my partner chose one of the many cheesecakes on offer, absolutely amazing. All in all, great value, great service and a lovely visit. Looking forward to our next trip.

So I went in today to the cafe royal on Saturday 13th of August just like usual I'm a normal customer always have such lovely willing to help no complaints to the staff I’d generally give them 5*s for Staff! And never had a problem with them unfortunately here’s where it goes downhill but a boy named Stuart I say boy because of how he acted completely unprofessional towards me and my partner who hadn’t done anything came up to the table where we were sitting with two other people and asked them to leave because of some sort of dietary problem then demanded that we also leave but refused to give us any reason as to why and the poor excuse he gave is because they were busy with only two customers in the store he wouldn’t give me a reason to as why we were kicked out, unfortunately, the man then became hostile demanding we leave threatening I don’t know why or if there were other problems but we generally didn’t do anything wrong we weren’t allowed to pay what so ever I’ll happily apologise to the staff if me and my wife did anything that upset them which from what the staff said to me I didn’t do anything I’d be more than happy to speak with the guy man to man I’d also like to speak with the owner so do get in touch

In today for lunch and really enjoyed our visit. Food was delicious, freshly made and good portion sizes. Had lovely fresh home baking as well. Staff all really friendly. Definitely worth a visit and will hopefully be back.

This cafe had the most delicious cheesecake I have ever had, I would strongly recommend it. The staff were excellent, very friendly and polite, definitely coming back.

Came in today for 3 milk shakes 2 coffee's and 1 tea. Menues were given but no one came to take our order, so went to the counter to order, 2 milk shakes arrived 10 min later, then 7 min after that the other milk...

Great food and excellent service. Staff team were very courteous, friendly and attentive. Food and cakes all fresh and home made. Plenty of choice for all and included gluten free. Definitely worth a visit.

It's a café and unpretentious. At that, it succeeds admirably with friendly staff, decent breakfasts and a nice enough room. Peppermint tea was a nice inclusion on the menu.
