We called into this small café for a light breakfast. We were surprised to find they sold pastel de nata ( Portuguese custard tarts). We enjoyed two of these with flat white coffee, sat in a small space in the window.

I love this place!! I’d been meaning to go for absolutely ages and I’m so glad I did. The first time I went I got myself a nice hefty slice of vegan Biscoff cake and an americano (with a student discount too!) which where both DELICIOUS. My cake was moist and sweet and the americano was hot just the way I like it. I’m so glad I have finally found a cafe in the city which not only does vegan cake but bloody good vegan cake too. I love this cafe so much that I’ve now been every Tuesday for the past four weeks and ordered the same thing- vegan cake with an americano. Cant wait to go back next week and get my fifth stamp :)

Was just about to cross over for petrol station coffee and saw this little shop. Best cappuccino I’ve ever had actually! Food looked great too.

We passed by here, checked out the good reviews on TripAdvisor, and decided to stop. The coffee was average, the woman behind the counter was patronising, and, perhaps worst of all, everything vegan cost more than the meat/dairy alternatives. Oat milk was an extra £0.50, the vegan sausage rolls cost more, the vegan sandwiches were more, etc. It felt way overpriced, especially for something that wasn't particularly good. Wouldn't go back.

Enjoyed an early morning espresso and a brief chat with the friendly member of staff about local live music venues. I noticed there were vegan options and the cafe has a focus on ethically sourced produce. The décor is bright, minimalist, with the corner site windows allowing the natural light and sunshine to flood in.

Lovely little cafe near the Castle Quarter. The flat white was delicious and so was the banana cake with peanut butter and chocolate chips.

Great little cafe, lovely egg sandwich and very nice twist on a sausage roll, in pastry. Last time I visited I was waiting to do an exam, so hadn’t really taken the time to look at the choice.

. . para el té chai solo!

Stopped off for a couple of cakes to take away. Have been past this loads of times on a bus, but never been in before.Bought two cakes, flapjack which mostly tastes nice, but I ended up with a corner piece with the ends being to dry, so ended up throwing away both sides, perhaps they need to be cut differently, with the dry ends removed. The other cake I bought and the only I took a picture of, was the Portuguese custard tart. Never had one before but it was amazing very tasty, will definitely be back for another one.

I asked for a chai latte with a shot of coffee... I understand that they use real tea for the 'chai' part of it instead of the powder that is used in most cafes (I like the powder, but wondered what this variation would be like), but I paid almost £5 for a small tea with coffee in it, in the end. There was nothing latte-ish about it, a minimal bit of foam that disappeared before I see it, the only evidence of it having existed was the puff on the lid of my cup. I believe I was charged for an espresso and a tea whereas this would have been about £1.20 cheaper in a Costa, even the small one is £2.80 in a Costa! The flavour was weak, I ended up adding one of my own tea bags, from work, just to feel like I was drinking something that wasn't hot water with milk! There were little bites of brownie that were free to try on the counter at least, I'm guessing the cooking is much better than their coffees or I was unlucky with the barista I was served by, because the brownie bites were delicious.

My friend Rosella and I pop in here every once in a while. It’s small but we like it and it’s an easy spot for us to meet or somewhere to stop after the gym. The coffee is always good even though the staff doesn’t usually care for conversation but that’s ok. Lately we haven’t been going because I bought a flapjack their and the sign said “cinnamon and cranberry “ absolutely nothing about walnuts......NOTHING. Not even just a general nuts inside note. Anyway, by the second chew my mouth felt a burn. I spat it out and asked the lady if their were walnuts in the flapjack. She very casually said yes. So imgot up and drank some water, which the lady gave to me. My friend, being her Italian self, were like “are you ok, are they trying to kill you,” but this barista says nothing. Not a sorry, not are you ok she not even gave me my money back. So I’m sitting there, sore mouth, Rosella worried, drinking my coffee, thinking what if I swallowed. What if I had a bad reaction, worse then a swollen mouth surely a note to say there are nuts in a product is a basic in this day and age. For the most I love this little place, just sort out simple things like food allergie safety.

Great tiny cafe with only a couple of small tables. Personally I have never stayed in to drink but have had regular coffees and occasional food to go. Not sure if they still do them but the Scotch Eggs and Sausage Rolls were great quality and matched the quality of the coffee.

Just happened to be walking past the café before going to the castle and popped in for lunch. 3 or 4 tables and a small menu including freshly prepared salads, paninis and sandwiches available plus brownies, flapjacks and Portuguese custard tarts. Much prefer independent cafes than the big chains. Worth popping in if you are walking past for good quality food.

Although we live in Norwich we hadn't come upon this delightful cafe with it's great owner. We had bacon butties in toasted Ciabatta with tea & it was very yummy. It is also dog friendly - so Ellie came too! We'll be back dog or no dog!! They do lunches too.

We were staying across the road for a week and I called in 3 times. The coffee is excellent (I had an americano twice, and a very refreshing iced americano once - really good on a hot day!). My husband was with me once, he enjoyed a white chocolate hot chocolate. I was tempted into having a sandwich one afternoon, that too was delicious. If you're nearby, call in - if you like good coffee, you won't be disappointed.

I can't recommend this place enough! My colleagues and I come here so often that they know our drinks orders. One of the best decafs I've tasted. The couple that run it are so friendly and chatty and I just love coming in here to pick up the morning coffees for the office.

this place has been open a few months and having driven past a few times, wife and I skipped our usual cafes in central Norwich and took a walk to give this place a try. The couple running the cafe are friendly and charming and their service is excellent. We had soup and a panini with coffees and really enjoyed our visit. It would seem to have a good take out trade for the surrounding offices. To their credit they remove the VAT on take aways.

Bit of a walk from centre but classic city estate pub. Good choice of beers, classy old gents lining the bar. Exactly what you'd expect from this type of pub.

YMCA confirmed this cafe has closed for good. A great shame as it was great value and very convenient for the city centre. They now have a cafe called Williams Kitchen on the Aylsham Road.

We walked in and asked for a table for two. There were lots of empty tables and customers peraring to leave, but we were barked at and told we could sit outside and there were no other options. We wouldnt have minded sitting outside, but the rude guy we spoke to made us feel like an inconvenience, so we left and went somewhwere else.
