Great place to feel relaxed while eating downside is the staff keep popping up to ask if everything is okay (4) times in a 35 mins, you feel pressured to eat up and get out, more like Starbucks!!! Otherwise okay

Really lovely place !! Staff are very helpful and friendly. The portions are a good size and tasty. Highly recommended the tapas dishes - the mains however were average. The atmosphere was lively when we went and it can be loud. I will say it’s not a cheap evening but it is a good treat

Had a great time the other night! I really admires the more authentic independent feel to the restaurant, rather than it being a copy and paste chain. The cocktails were fantastic, and I enjoyed the pizza. I'd say it was a little cold in there though. Though I certainly would go again

I came for my works Christmas party on Saturday and was not disappointed. The pizza, pasta and garlic breads were amazing, the desserts heavenly and the staff cannot do enough for you. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, will definitely be returning.

A taste of Greece in a lovey cosy atmosphere. The meze and bread are to die for there is also a pretty little patio area. Great for lazy summer evenings

Had an absolute blast at this place! The restaurant has a great ambience and the food was good as well. The manager was so nice to us and our group, and that’s an understatement. Would definitely visit again and enjoy the food. The service was genuinely what made our experience great.

We visited the Cafe Bar Restaurant in Preston over the weekend, and it was an excellent experience! The place is spacious, with a lovely outdoor area, creating a welcoming Mediterranean vibe. My wife and I had the Gyros platter, and the ingredients were fresh, authentic, and well-prepared. The portions were generous, and the food was flavorful, capturing the essence of Greek cuisine. The hospitality was fantastic—friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great meal and a genuine Mediterranean dining experience in Preston!

We called In on spec on Saturday evening they showed us to a table straight away and within minutes we were being served with drinks as we reviewed the menu. Food ordered lovely Greek meze sharing platter to start with and Lasagne & Paella for mains. Definitely going back to sample more of the menu.

Quick service, friendly staff, food wasn't the best though. Pizza came uncut, had to ask for it to be cut into slices... came back like a child had cut it up. Was just hacked into different size slices. Didn't look fully cooked, very pale and limp looking, Cheese and toppings literally fell off. Spaghetti bolanase for the mains, good amount of food but very watery based sauce, not packing much flavour.

The food was amazing! I have eaten plenty of Greek food and been to countless Greek style restaurants as my partner and her family are Greek, this is without a doubt the most authentic and fantastic Greek cuisine I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I would recommend to anyone who loves great food and friendly service (so everyone) 10/10 would come back tomorrow if I lived closer.

Beautiful little restaurant. That was my first with my Preston friends. First-class service and the food was delicious. We need up every 6 weeks. This is our new meet place from now on.

We popped in for lunch while in town. My daughter is coeliac. The service was good and the food delicious. A wide range of GF options, with most of the menu options being able to be altered to accommodate.

Always enjoy visiting the cafe bar. It is a spot in the town centre which does not feel like a town centre. Good food, fried my staff and decent prices. Always happy to return here.

It felt like being on holiday! The colourful seats and music in the background took you away from Preston. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing and came very quickly after ordering. I will definitely return, it has become one of my favourite places in Preston. I highly recommend :)

The Cafe Bar is one of my favourite go-to resteraunts. It's a great casual dining place just off a cobbled street with it's own courtyard, which is great for when the weather is good. In side is cosy and tastefully themed. The food is always good, and I'm decent portions, usually, so is the service. I gave it a 3 stars for service this time only because if anything there were too many staff being overly attentive, I think we spoke to four and were being offered coffee and desert before our mains had arrived.

Do not order paella! The rice was clearly cooked separately and there were several clumps of rice throughout the dish, the prawn was charred and impossible to clean and finally, the tomato sauce was acidic and unpleasant. Paella should be cooked for quite a long time, this was more of a rice soup with random pre cooked components thrown together

We had dinner here - some tapas and then four mains. Everything was good. The café is tucked away in a courtyard so even though it's close to the city centre it is fairly peaceful. We had a lovely evening and will visit again.

Absolutely one of the best places to eat in Preston. We train from Lancaster to eat here. So great - it really is!!

Freshly cooked delicious food, friendly helpful staff in a nice location. Would have liked to sit outside, unfortunately the British summer had other ideas. We ordered starters, pizza, salad and vine leaf wraps, all were well presented and delicious. No complaints from our party, reasonably priced, would highly recommend.

Just found this place on Google and thought I'd take a chance. It was quiet because, I think, of the Euro final being on later, but the welcome was warm and genuine. I like carbonara and the spaghetti carbonara was one of the best that I've had. I will definitely be back when I'm in Preston again!

Food is great but there is always a let down of sorts when it comes to service Lovely hot sunny afternoon. The meals we had were very nice. The strawberry salad to be precise when speaking for myself. We asked for the bill and waited about 20 minutes. Asked again. Then the same waitress said 'you can go to the bar to pay because we are too busy'. Would have been nice to have been told. It's such a shame after the nice food. It was definitely the quietest period since we sat down. The previous visit was met with a waiter who when we asked if they had oat milk he responded in a very condescending manner 'no sorry we only have milk from a cow'. Really need to work on their customer service skills.

I was there with my granddaughters, and the staff went out of their way to entertain them.

Last night (Saturday 18th May) myself and 20 friends and family visited the cafe bar to celebrate both my birthday and a silver wedding anniversary in the family. Everything about this place is really special, the location is great and the outdoor seating area is beautiful The food was PERFECT and the service was exceptional. In particular Paulo who knew it was my birthday so went out of his way to make my evening really special. The rest of the staff we interacted with where also really friendly and attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend this little hidden gem in the town centre ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you Cafe Bar for looking after us and I will definitely be back soon

I know its good manners to leave some food behind and not finish the plate, but i COULD NOT STOP MYSELF. It was so delish!!!!!

Sat in the courtyard all 7 of us - relaxed, friendly atmosphere, great staff (although one did struggle with my mates Yorkshire accent, but that's my mates fault for being from Yorkshire 😁). Food was great, mezze plates were bigger than normal, which was great and the main meals were spot on - I had that good a time, I forgot to take any photos.

Second time one was evening but was lunch this time with 17 members of my family all the food came out pretty much together and everyone was very happy with their meal

Food was incredible. Got a few tapas bites can’t quite remember the names of them, but they were served quickly and was some of the best food I have had in a while. Went at tea time. 4 o clock and there was 7 of us. The waiter took our order without writing it down and the order that came was perfect. The food was excellent. A few people in but nice atmosphere. Has a court yard you can sit in which is pretty and lovely if good weather.

Go there regularly and food and service always amazing.

We booked a table for 12 on a busy Friday night, the restaurant was busy and had a great vibrant atmosphere. Staff were perfectly attentive, with drinks flowing and food coming in great time. We were served beautiful, hot and fresh food and will absolutely come again.

Staff were ultra friendly and tentative. Chilled surroundings. Food was excellent, typical old school Italian. Would highly recommed.

If you are looking for great prepared to order Italian food which is fantastic value and service look no further. Run by Matty who make every effort for outsatnding service. Then this is the place...it is the only place I now eat when in Preston . Just try it..you won't regret it

Hidden GEM!!!!! The food was better than anything I've tasted. Service was the best anything you order will beat you standards. A quiet place with Spanish music playing in the background quietly I will most definitely be coming back to this place.

We set outside in the courtyard with our dog after we were struggling to find somewhere for bite to eat. The staff were super friendly and it's a really lovely place.

Great place! Centrally located, pleasant courtyard to sit in and friendly, efficient staff. We were there for a lunchtime works outing so it was quiet but I can imagine a lively atmosphere on an evening. I thought the menu seemed a little limited and most in the group had pizza, which they enjoyed and benefited from the lunchtime price deal. I had the kebabs from the full menu and with a soft drink this was over £20 but they were great, really full of flavour, and I would have again. I'm going to visit again shortly as I'd like to see it on an evening. But highly recommended nonetheless.

Booked a 50th party here well in advance of the day. Spoke on numerous occasions about setting a table up for us before we arrived. They said no problem as long as you provide balloons and banners etc. Dropped all this off night before. We arrived on the evening and nothing had been set up. Spoilt the surprise for the birthday. We then had to arrange it all ourselves. Very disappointed. When questioned about it we were told the table had only just come free, yet 2 of our party had been sat there well before we arrived. Food mediocre. Shame

Lovely Greek food, sat outdoors on warm evening in a courtyard, white and blue colour scheme. Very Greek atmosphere and much closer to home!

Excellent food and service spoiled by a guy vaping behind us and covering us in a cloud of smoke every few minutes while trying to eat.
